  1. Changes and credited, thanks!
  2. Thank you for the data :)
  3. Best way is the Chaos Tunnels waterfiends. Rock Lobsters are ok, but CTS is faster and you don't need to waste time getting there.
  4. All the roaming legendaries carry over any status effects and damage. So if you put it to sleep, it will always sleep until it wakes up. If you mean why it ran even though it was asleep, then I have no idea.
  5. Probably the legacy factor.
  6. That's true.
  7. Every STAB user of Close Combat I can think of can OHKO Blissey. Cross Chop on Electivire. Not sure on Machamp's Dynamicpunch. Scizor's Superpower. Those are all unboosted, except perhaps with items.
  8. Blissey is insane, just gotta watch for those physical attackers.
  9. Earths are highest xp outside of tiaras and tabs in f2p.
  10. If you mean the bone yard, it no longer exists.
  11. Short, sweet, and memorable. I like it.
  12. Thanks for suggesting this! This would doubtlessly be helpful to people, but I do not think it is particularly useful nor necessary. There are a few reasons why I think this is unfeasible. As mentioned already, information tends to become redundant. Also, and this may just be my opinion, but equipment, given that it is stable and you do not lose it through death, doesn't actually cost money. For example, if you were to buy a whip for 3M, sure you spend money, but if you can easily sell it back for 3M, can you really say you are losing money? Of course, the price could fall and you could lose money, but then again it could just as easily rise and you could gain money. The relationship between stats and price isn't a linear relationship. Stat boosts make a much bigger difference at lower levels, and plus a mere ratio cannot dictate exactly how you play. For example, it's true that Torag's Platebody has far superior defense over Rune. But if you are off to kill chickens, does it really matter? Ratios can't ever distinguish that. There are far more than just statistics and price to consider as well. The Godsword is a great weapon, but does it make sense to go off killing cows with a Godsword? Speed, base price (for Items Kept On Death), special attack, etc. are other factors that must be considered, and it's not so easy working those in. That is how I see it. The other crew members may disagree with me, and perhaps I will be wrong and it will be much more helpful than I anticipate. But those are my thoughts.
  13. Hello and welcome to Tip.It! Thanks for taking the time to submit this post :) I'm not quite sure what you mean by "Shades of Mort'ton". Do you mean the Temple Building activity/minigame?
  14. Clean herbs, generally speaking, is herblore xp for a profit. The trouble is, it is click-heavy and it is extremely difficult to get your hands on the grimy herbs in such a big bulk. So, while you're running from patch to patch, you waste no time cleaning your herbs and you increase your profit/get free or profitable herblore xp. And that calc posted above seems to have an error on one of the herb values.
  15. On the topic of herb farming, I made a calc to reflect the typical best herbs since I can't manage to find one that someone gave me in the past. Someone check it over? First spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AuH40dSoQ3ccdHJ6RlRjUXZGbDRIaUN2a1puM0NLbXc&hl=en
  16. I haven't used guthans since I got 68 summoning. Haven't owned a single piece since then. There's really no point, exception if perhaps boss monsters if you're tanking or something like that.
  17. Yeah I doubt they would just add Java to the "real" new client.
  18. Group DH at the CTS is actually not bad.
  19. Whip @ controlled is best anyway, and ZS is great for a stab weapon as well. SS is only good for its crush and strength-training.
  20. Wow. You can get cash?
  21. I use 40 ppoints/Bork run with Fighter Torso + Prossy Skirt praying Piety + Protect Melee and killing the Orks. Prayer shouldn't be a big issue here. No, running away does NOT dodge the magic attack. However, the mage can only attack you if he can "see" you. So if he is mindlessly wandering and never targets you, he will never attack you, and thus you never get magic damage. It's important to know that the mage does NOT start the battle already targetting you, and he only targets you for 1 attack, then he loses "focus", so to speak. So by running to a corner, you reduce the chances of being targetted, and thus reduce the chances of getting hit.
  22. They fall under "Other fail weapons". Honestly, a whip is better.
  23. I'm not familiar with the market. Is it just because of the double xp weekend's effect, or have been been steadily increasing for a while now?
  24. Zaaps1 replied to Hajutze's topic in Help and Advice
Look in your in-game quest guide. What step does it say you're on?
  25. For WFS, the order is, roughly: ZS=SS>Obby mace=GS>Whip>Other fail weapons
