As the owner and user of a g maul, let me clear this up... Maul spec = an instant hit, no extra effects, no guaranteed damage based on last hit. The K.O with the maul is this; hit once, after the hit, double spec. 3 instant hits, boom headshot, usually K.O's anyone under half health with a little luck. (Aka, no triple 0.)

Do quests that give defence exp by using rings of recoil to kill monsters. Members is pretty much required for this. One small favour, tail, of two cats, and other such things are reccomended. Credits to zzzamorak for this idea, although he used it on non- combat skills.
