Would you prefer the word bits? Every computer game is an absolute and utter waste of time. That being said, so is watching TV, and most other hobbies that people have, so I'd rather waste my time playing computer games. I do, however, realize that each and every single one of my accomplishments in this digital realm is a combination of 0's and 1's, nothing more. Most of my goals aren't THAT long term. 94 mage in a year. EDIT: Short term ones include fury, 82 mage, berserker and seers rings. Those aren't far away.

Karil's cross bow is a ranged weapon from barrows. All barrows items gradually degrade. They can withstand 15 hours of constant combat. When they are dropped, they automatically break. They can be fixed, for a cost. Take it to one of the following places with 100k in inventory. Bob in lumbridge, dunstan in burthrope, or tindel in port khazard. You can also repair barrows items in someone's house, if they have a repair stand. Doing this gives a discount based on your smithing level. Level 99 smiths pay half cost. Karil's crossbow is a good ranging weapon, although slightly expensive due to the fact that it fires bolt racks. These are obtainable from barrows, or can be bought from ak-haranu iin port phasmatys, or other players. They generally cost around 300 gp each, and cannot be picked up.

How long would this take & what is the best way to find the world? Start is 72 mage.

A truly awesome update would be demonic wings to fly on. Possibly a slight increase in speed, but not much. Turning on "run" would increase flying speed as well. (With ordinary run drain.)[/i]

Grenade puts too modern of a name on it. Perhaps a bomb? Could use new compunds to make and use crafting and herblore in the process. To use you would need firemaking and range. Would take time to light could fail, dealing damage to you. Would be difficult to make, something like that bomb in regicide.
