  1. There are a lot of things in this world that you could say, most of them, like your example, are irrelevant. Why is someone who is so open-minded as you pretend to be, so hell-bent on arguing with me about this? Not arguing, I'm trying to propose a possible philosophy. If anything, I'm agreeing with you.
  2. First off, you use biased websites that can't even be tested for accuracy. Next, you have no idea how hectic the news business is, especially if you consider the events. It'd be 10x harder to fake it and lie, but why would BBC put themselves at such risk? Especially since they operate in the UK, why would the government get more people, especially an ally involved? Answer that.
  3. Everything is varying degrees, from race to illness. Of course it is. But it's varying degrees of close mindedness, not open mindedness. You could also say there's no such thing as sanity (or is it the other way around? :-s). It seems this philosophy is pretty much universal.
  4. Everything is varying degrees of something, from race to personality.
  5. I hate to be the barer of this, but you aren't exactly "open" to religions. Explain why and I'll listen. A few of your threads turn into huge religious wars, and you're always involved. I'm not saying you bash, but the Macroevolution thread seemed to be an instigation, not that it was intended by you to be.
  6. I hate to be the barer of this, but you aren't exactly "open" to a religious viewpoint.
  7. Too open minded for my own good, except on one or two things where I'm close minded. I'm like a sponge, soaking in whatever I can. I wanna visit all 7 continents, I wanna experience every culture, I wanna read every religious text. I just want to melt myself into someone else's culture. I'm always asking questions.
  8. It didn't bother me, it just wasn't correct English. :
  9. A little, ya' think?
  10. I tried to make a James Bond lol.
  11. I thought this would be fun. Visit this site and create your own superhero. Then printscreen it, upload it, and post it here. And maybe even a background story. Here's my first attempt: Slogan: Do not fear, one shout of O Canada and Captain Canada will come to the rescue! Name: Captain Canada! -Or- Capitaine Canada! Short Story: By day a financial adviser for an investment firm in Toronto, by night a superhero scanning the skies for evil doers. Enjoy, have fun, and let your creativity run wild! :D
  12. BTW it's not, I says. :x
  13. Even worse, all it takes on porn sites is to click "Enter", anything free they can't monitor and you're held responsible once you click the warning.
  14. England 5 Germany 1, Michael Owen is number one! Sorry, had to. O:)
  15. Are you talking about the Heysel Stadium disaster? Sorry my football history is not up to snuff.
  16. ^In more then 3 quarters of the world it's called Football, so technically they win and the US looses.
  17. What if they can't afford it? And insurance won't cover enough of it. Or is that under the terms of "reasonable". "Reasonable" based on income? :-k
  18. Favorite Team is, hard to say, but probably Liverpool FC. My favorite players are a tie between Gerrard and Owen. And maybe Andriy Shevchenko too.
  19. Don't forget, "very liberal". :P
  20. I didn't even know you could do it that early, unless they never reached the stage of ejaculation.
  21. Bumping this because it's about to leave us for good, and it's quite a good How To guide. I demand it be moved to T&C.
  22. There is a rather thick line between instant pain and longterm pain. Instant pain you can train yourself not to feel, through Eastern Philosophy and the such or self meditation, but long term pain you can't. You can't get rid of longterm pain no matter how hard you try.
  23. Homosexuals do not mate to procreate. And they supposedly make up more than 4% of the population. And mostly due to adaptations, we live in a maladaptative world where we no longer need basic survival instincts.
  24. So we should make it easier for people to commit suicide in order to decrease our population? My point is, there's no point in keeping people who don't want to live, and are serious about it. It's not like we live in a "survival of the fittest" world anymore.
  25. But would you agree that some people have really miserably horrid existances? It's pretty sickening some of the situations people end up in be they genetic or not. Still I don't think death would be a better alternative. Why? Our population is already reaching such a high that soon we will run out of resources. Except in Europe, where the population is dropping. What's one death? 40,000 people die each day in Africa, mostly children.
