Wow? Really? That's impressive.
I've always hated the ugliness of the stern. Anyways, I'm often overwhelmed by skyscrapers, WTC1 and 2 in particular. BTW look at Royal Carribean's next ship, said to be on the seas by 2009: The 5,400-6,400 (I'm getting mixed figures) passenger, 220,000 ton, 1,180 feet long (360 metres), 154 feet wide (47 metres), 240 feet (73 metres) high, 15 deck, and 1.1 billion dollar Genesis Class ship.

...regrettably Genesis is actually also Royal Carribean. Now for that one, I do agree with you. 250,000 tons? More than twice the size of the QueenMary2? Lol, it's almost comical. They are going to have near full size indoor waterfall. No one has ever done that before, not even in a regular building, let alone a ship! But yea, that's too big. I doubt I would want ever want to go on it, but I would love to see what's inside someday. I agree with that last bit.

Worst pain you've ever experienced..
No you can't. If you can, do it now, it's snowing outside.

Worst pain you've ever experienced..
Having my finger slammed in a car door, it was even worse then recently when I jabbed my hand through the corner of a pane of glass causing a centimeter deep gash.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
My only true complaint with Freedom is that it looses the definition of a liner, a black hull, graceful bow, smokestack, open stern, etc. But then again, it's a Cruise Ship, they are both built for different types of cruises, so it it is the leader of a category of it's own, well, the category of cruise ships anyway. Now, all we have to worry about is when Carnival's famed Genesis class ships hit the sea. :ohnoes:

Alright, let's call it a tie. :D

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
I wasn't sure of the family, that's why I told you that. The Windjammer never felt crowded, and that's why I liked it. I would still take QM2's dinning hall over Sovereign's. I just find QM2 more elegant. But I wouldn't bet that lasting long since Carnival took over Cunard. It may of succeeded with QM2, but Queen Victoria looks like a disaster waiting to happen. Alright, I'll admit RC does have some pretty wicked shows. Flashdance at the Welcome Aboard Show was amazing, I'll give them that.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
I didn't book the cruise. I would say, of course it was nice, the inside had been completely refurbished and it all looked great. But by economic I meant more then less is more, I meant that our stateroom wasn't that great, and we even had a balcony. The stateroom felt cheap, the hallways seemed very economic. The pool was always too crowded, the only place I really enjoyed was the deck, our balcony, and the Windjammer Caf̮̩̉̉. Though the public rooms were nice, I also didn't care for the assigned seating method. This is compared to pictures my Uncle and his wife took of their room, also having balcony, on the Queen Mary II, and on the Freedom, and from his pictures and experiences, at least for the QM2, it seemed much better, but also costs more. He's also been on Sovereign, he ranked it above Freedom.

Have you ever been on a Royal Caribbean ship? I went on Sovereign 2 weeks after it was remodeled. That's the ship I was talking about, I consider it small because most of its sisters, Liberty, Freedom are much bigger. Of course it was nice, and I enjoyed it. But there is better out there.

Wait. You haven't even been on one? I've been on a small cruise ship off of Florida. I have not been on the Freedom, but my close relatives have and I trust their opinion.

Why? They can't have a partner either? It's not marriage, it's a civil union performed by a judge, not a priest. Completely different things with the same benefits. Most gays can tell who is and who isn't gay. You should actually feel flattered, of course decline, but that isn't something to think is bad.

Dude, just stop it. You're just digging yourself even deeper. My uncle and his wife went on the ship. I trust their opinion, so that doesn't entitle me to an opinion?

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
But it is sooo overcrowded. The wait for the new surf thing is so long it can take upwards of a few hours before you ride it, what a waste, and the pool as well is usually crowded. And lots of people equals kids running around and diseases being spread. Many of the top cruise critics have even called this ship overcrowded, and that ruins anything else it had going for it. BTW they are not Liner's, they are Cruise Ships. Liners service like planes and ferries and trains. Cruise Ships travel to ports of call.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
Alright then, Trapical beat this elegance: More private swimming pool, one of two: It beats Freedom's crowded economic plan and interior by far. Queen Mary 2 is more than a cruise ship built for tourism to travel to ports, it is a transatlantic ocean liner built to be a hotel for a week or so voyage.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
Freedom is an overcrowded monster. It's a white box with an ugly bow and fat box like stern decks. Now QM2, that's a liner. With her black hull and beautiful curved bow, she sails the sea like no other. On top of that she reminisces of the great ships of the past. I'm glad Celebrity Cruises is following in it's footsteps, especially with the use of a black hull. You had bad pictures, try these:

I don't eat lunch or breakfast and have bad nutrition, but I've never had this problem. :-k

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
It'd be all soggy and/or rusted.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
It doesn't, I was saying that it's hard to fathom everyday objects/modern day amenities/etc, such as the above being tossed around everywhere while the ship lists and then being completly submerged in water and then rotting and rusting. I mean, I can look at pictures of the Titanic before and after, but technology that effects my life daily now submerged under water to be left to rot is just a hard concept grasp.

Guys, im sure theres a problem here.....
I had this problem at a younger age, 12, 13, 14 or so. I just found where my true interests lie, which was architecture, but my math is too bad, and then I discovered the world and such yatta yatta yatta.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
Bloody hell, I didn't know this was so common. I thought Poseidon's capsize was a very rare occurance. Did you hear what happened to the Crown Princess? It's crazy, I can't believe no one died, thank God for railings. Those pictures are really cool BTW. Princess Cruises has really bad luck. They've had a serious fire, and now 2 lists, one of the maiden voyage of a new ship and that same one almost being a capsize.

Cruise Ship Actually Sinks!
Modern cruise ships usually have enough lifeboats to hold all the passengers. :| Oh god it really wouldn't... I got back from a cruise a while ago. A week after I got back, literally the trip right after mine, the ship almost capsized. As it tilted, glass was sent down the halls. TV's in your room and bunk beds would come tumbling down fast. Water from the pools spilled out and started flooding the area. It managed to right itself after a few minutes, but in that time there were over 25 injuries. Turns out it was because an old man was having a heart attack, so the captain decided to make a very tight turn to get back to land. The tight turn to save one man's life risked hundreds more and caused massive amounts of damage to the ship. I'm glad I wasn't on the ship. What ship? The Crown Princess, or Grand Princess?

God hates fags? AKA Homosexuals?
One homosexual male has given an opposing unsound (as Locke pointed out) theory that says it is not genetics. Thats not cleared up. Satenza's right, I'm not a scientist. Sorry for making my opinion sound like more than an opinion.
