Why do you think women aren't allowed to shower with the men in the army (yes, I am comparing gays to straight women because they both have sexual attractions to men)? Because it is a distraction and extremely uncomfortable. Gays should be able to fight for their country, but they should not be in areas where it can be considered uncomfortable. Men and women in a shower together can lead to sex, which can lead to pregnancy even with protection, or transmission of STD's. This is worse because the army doesn't want to deal with that, it's more important than some gay man attracted to a straight guy which he keeps to himself.

Murder is good for society, they're called population controllers. Agreed. But that isn't a good enough reason to let them loose. Are you saying we should treat homosexuals like murderers? No, they are not committing a crime. Murderers are by taking some else's life, good or not.
