Okay fixed it. Maybe it needed more lighting. Cuz when there's fire there's light right? Darn. I just realized they are both over the limit. So maybe just make the fire standstill?

To shade a pixel: Use a pencil tool or a 1x1 color thingy and select a darker shade of whatever you're coloring. Then cooolor. I think thats all there is to it. If you brush it...its not a pixel sig.

Wow nice! I can't wait till you finish with teh shadin and stuff. Might want to fix the feet (a bit too small).
