yeah I would recommend slayer too, you should be able to complete most of your assignments without going back for food and you get variety so you wont get as bored.

yeah ectofuncus a bit old now, just look in runescape forums for open houses with gilded altars about 50 times quicker than ecto.

yeah the 2 melee non barrows essentials at lvl 70 are whip d scimmy whip for training att and def, and scimmy for training str. try these and you wont need any other weaps, until you can afford guthans.

get ready for the long haul - takes ages to level from 65 onwards sharks are a waste of money for slayer, a full load of monks, bones to peaches and guthans are your best 3 options for food. you should easily be able to do any task with these three items. get ready for a few months slaying, unless you play 12 hours a day. good luck with your goal, I had the same goal at 65 slayer, finally got 75 the other day, and that took months (i only slay 10 hours a week on average)

why do you care if you have a few non member skill levels, why dont you take advantage of this account and train as much non member as possible before you go back. basically if you have the requirements whip is best for overall training of attack and def, and d scimmy is best for strength training. other weapons and sets are useful, like dharoks, guthans and veracs depending on what you are fighting.

i would think you need the extra prayer pot, I can never see any difference when i used the holy wrench. you must use a few ppots doing barrows at your level.

its proven to be cheaper to get it by selling chaos to the store, but you need over 33k of chaos runes. a few of the player made merchanting guides mention this - check them out.

just look for a spot not too far before the bridge that looks like that, only takes a bit of patience - cant you just spend 5mins looking or is your attention span that low

They seem to be committed to improving their current system they use, so I dont think it would happen. They are already making large profits and generally you dont change what works. The only way I would think a new version would come out would be something like wow where you buy the product at a store. Thats really the only way to improve graphics etc greatly.

well at level 50 construction you can build an altar and tele room in your house. Then you finish run, tele home, pray and use canafis tele then take boat. I think its quicker than your way

I find it funny, whenever I want to sell something, its very difficult to get a reasonable price unless you want to wait all day, but on the other hand when you want to buy an item, you always have to pay more than the reasonable price. maybe I am just impatient, but more likely there is too many people who just care about merchanting. they may make money but you cant tell me its actually playing the game - its more like sucking the blood out of players. I dont care that they are rich either, I have my own stash worth 40+M which I can say I have not merchanted 1 gp for. anyway thats my rant for today.

mage comps seem very hard to sell, I had 2 and couldnt sell them. in the end I got about 120k worth of items each

I agree I used to always mage karil and range ahrim, but melee with dds specs and whip is much faster when you hit around combat 100 especially with super set or combat pot

I think the maze gives the best results luckily I have been getting a few lately 1k chaos (not kidding) from a maze (70% left) 150 steel arrows and 7 nats (8% left) I wish I didnt get lost in the second one would have liked 1k steel arrows and 100 nats :(

obviously the original poster is not a barrows veteran, slayer dart is by far the best option in terms of "zero" runes used and less food and ppots needed compared to the other option. My first 100 runs were with fire bolt, fire blast until I hit 55 slayer and since then my next 400 odd runs have been with slayer dart. Slayer dart is by far more cost effective.

I think all items purchased with pizazz points pretty much give you a profit, if you dont waste runes making them. so its pretty much free xp only costing you time to do it. see the mage training guide in AOW - its pretty good

If everyone loves them so much just download an emulator and every game is availiable - of course you are meant to own the actual cartridge if you use the roms :-w
