The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I thought all international trades were in gold? -- Oh and I didn't notice there was already a trade group for Europe. So, just ignore the European Trading Bloc (it never happened! The trade was a lie!). The SSR joins the Free European Trade Association (FETA). I say FETA because it is easier to remember than FETG. Just think PETA without the crazy!

I do. But Mather has already purchased them. You can talk to him about buying them.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Alright since Russia renegged on the deal, the SSR accepts Scandinavia's proposal. It can be half and half gold/currency if you want. You can pay over 5-10 years. So, 527 tonnes of gold, and 15b in currency.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
How could 5b be 22 tonnes, and 27b be 879? Math fail? It's nice though. Now I have the guaranteed intervention of a super power if another country invades me :P

SSR agrees to Russia's proposal. Arch, how much gold did I get? -- The SSR begins phasing out the Ukrainian Hryvnia (currency) and the Romanian Leu, and starts replacing it with the Euro. There will be a bit of destabilization of the economy for a short period, but it shouldn't be too bad as Romanian and Ukrainian dollars weren't worthless and so can be exchanged for Euros fairly easily. The conversion will cost the SSR around 15b. Btw Grim we now share the same currency.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
The aircraft alone are worth 10b. And cost more money. The point is that you can score a whack of military equipment for dirt cheap.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Grim bid 15 :P -- The SSR has issued free travel permits to citizens on Moldova. The government of Moldava has been assured that there will be no SSR control over their trade, and that goods will be able to freely travel through the SSR and into Moldova.

I vote 'no' for moderation. Big surprise there. Sere, you are the United States! Stop playing as 5 different countries. -SSR places an embargo on Switzerland -SSR goes back on the decision to lighten trade tariffs for trade with Russia, considering its despicable actions in Africa -SSR lifts the embargo on India SSR forms the European Trading Bloc, which unlike the TFTA doesn't support free trade, as that robs countries of a large portion of their income. Invites have been sent to all countries in Eastern Europe, as well as to Germany. Project UV, M&M, FW1, FW2, AK20xx all coming along good. Project Framework has started, and construction of dams and manufacturing buildings are already popping up all across SSR lands. SSR sends a diplomat to Russia to talk about joining together to combat smuggling and piracy in the Black Sea. Education reform is doing nicely, though since it is now in its early stages and there are not many recreational programs and centres around yet, many youths are hanging around doing nothing with their time. Crime has risen slightly, though the SSR police have been ordered not to use brutal force against youths during this time. 3 new nuclear reactors are being built across the SSR. The old reactor at Chernobyl is also being reconstructed and will be turned back on again. These reactors should supply a surplus amount of energy in the SSR. Precautions are in place for the solar flare. Backup data, turn off electronics, etc, etc. SSR condemns the recent actions by Israeli against the people of Palestine. -- Honestly, the highest bid for all the military equipment of Ukraine is 150 million? How pathetic. I think I'll just partition it off and sell it to African warlords. They're always looking for new toys to blow each other up with. I could say everyone does, but then I'd get yelled at. So, yea...

Better first offer :P -- Btw, to Icu. You paid what was it...21 tonnes or something in gold for the last batch of military equipment? Regardless of what Arch said that isn't that much for Russia. You still have roughly 600 tonnes of gold in reserve.

Dungeoneering
My horse dies, I buy a new one. My army is now 12,000 strong, and gaining.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
For sale once again to the highest bidder: 3784 Main Battle Tanks, including 271 T-80, 6 T-84, 1,180 T-72, 2,215 T-64, . 3,043 AIFV and 8,492 tracked and wheeled APC - Armoured Combat Vehicles 205 Mi-24, 315 Mi-8, 42 Mi-6 - Combat Helicopters 1,128 - Artillery Systems 1 Foxtrot submarine 1 Krivak class frigate 3 Grisha corvettes 2 Tarantul II corvettes 2 Pauk corvettes 2 Natya I minesweepers 2 Sonya minesweepers 2 Matka missile boats 1 Zhuk patrol craft 245 Attack Helicopters 260 Transport Helos 40 Recon Planes 2 Refueling Tankers 70 Transport Planes 36 Tactical Bombers 36 Close Air Support Planes 36 Air Superiority Planes (interceptors) 80 Multi-role fighters 39 Training planes -- SSR starts research into a new variant of the AK47, which will be cheap and easy to produce, fire a higher calibre bullet, and be an extremely sturdy weapon (much like the AK is today). SSR has also loosened up on gun control, allowing citizens to own as many guns as they want by going through a background check, and taking to proper firearm safety courses.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
And I'd rather not see Arch buildup a large stockpile of gold, considering that last thing he tried to do with his was crash the entire economy of Europe.

Your forces? Grim... The closest land you own to the European wall is India. Tbh, I can't stop chuckling over this because it makes no sense. How did you forces get halfway across the entire planet (which is largely controlled by me) without being detected? Stealth systems wouldn't hide them. Oh and stealth helicopters hahaha

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
It went like so: -Adrenal was inactive, so a bunch of people were eyeing his land -They invade India, and debate over cutting it up which way so everyone gets a piece -I notify Adrenal, considering its his country and all, offering to take temporary governship over it until it gets back, so that its nobodys country, but I'm defending it -He posts giving me the country completely (which I didn't really want) -Everyone gets mad at me -I get annoyed and so finally give it to Japan (since giving it to Britain seemed incredibly illogical) -Britain and Japan merge, Britain gets India (zzz) -Britain sells it to you

You know, if anyone of this had happened (which it didn't, since I was never notified that someone was nuking me, which is kinda a hard thing to hide), don't you think it would've been easier to say... 1. Manage to get past the wall through the waterways 2. Disguise yourself as citizens to get past the wall 3. Y'know...go over the wall? 4. Simply fly over with helicopters? I don't quite understand why you would nuke the wall just so you could fly over it with helicopters...

Your point? All my ships have Dirithanium plating, and so a blast from an energy weapon that wasn't highly concentrated would simply be absorbed and dispelled by the plating. Also, Spec Ops teams generaly operate as discretly and covertly as possible. Nuking a spot for entry isn't exactly discreet. This debate is obviously pointless, though, as getting into Federation lands is the easy part. Then you have to get past all the SAM batteries and AA sites, and the radar sites (which, if you remember back to V1 have passive radar systems that can detect stealthed aircraft). Nevermind the fact that using a spot that has recently been nuked for entry is probably the dumbest thing anyone could ever do. See Totskoye Range Training Exercise. Btw, spies have never worked in this game. They're too over-powered to use, especially without any sort of outside moderation. "My spies kill your leader, your country is in chaos!", "My spies poison your food supply, your army dies!", "My spies manage to get Conan O'Brian kicked off the tonight show and get him replaced by someone who's out of touch with most of the viewing audience!". See? It doesn't really work.

Which I promptly gave up, not after everyone tried to cut it up and grab as much of it as possible (why would Delhi seceed from Mumbai? Haha!).

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
How about we just make the rule that when you quit you can't just give your entire country away to someone. Since that was the big problem with the last hegemony where Doom managed to inherit an entire continent, and Sere managed to get an illogical group of countries spread out across the world, and with cultures that shared next to nothing in common.

Dear Malaysia, It has come to the Terran Federation's attention that your leaders are under the misguided idea that a comprehensive Earth-to-Space missile defense grid is comprised of a singular missile silo located is an easily accesible and easily tamperable location. This is not the case, and hopefully this letter will be enough to inform you that a much larger number than 1 missile silo is needed to defend an entire planet. Your current enemy and future overlord, The Terran Federation -- Grim you can't just pull crap out of your [wagon] because you're suddenly in a war. You don't have a "giant spy network" inside my empire. I have a spy network in your nation, though, considering I've actually invested money into it and mentioned is before (Project Gestapo). Huh? If that's the case, then your population has been eating Anthrax Pie for the past 40 years, which means your population is 0. I will put that under advisement. Though, I'd like to remind you that I have battleships that are specifically designed to destroy large numbers of weapons.
