No, it went fine. The problem is just that everyone seems to have unlimited money, food, soldiers, whatever to throw around. Well, that's the way we've been doing things. They'll be mopped up soon enough. Who is this magical Field Marshall that can decide the fate of an entire country, and who for some reason owes his allegiance to a bunch of pacifists despite being a military general??? + The Britannian Empire doesn't really have all that much to offer. It's military might is a lot smaller than the Federation's, it just has more allies. And, the citizens and soldiers wouldn't get access to the plethora of genetic and biological enhancements that the Federation has, so, idk, it's a pretty even race for the two, even without factoring in the geographical, cultural, and political factors, which all lean heavily towards me. Sorry, should I have stuck in the box? Didn't realize we were in the habit of penalizing people for doing stuff we hadn't thought of before.

No, it was so Sere (as is easily to predict what he would do) would move his troops away from Britain into Russia (which he did), leaving it open to attack. Ha! That's exactly what has happened nearly every single time someone quits. But now that it's me getting the land, oh dear, we must stop evil Dusty! 'The army, which already had a chain of command in place that traced back to the Terran Federation, stayed together since it's officers knew who to report to for orders, and the chain of command remained unbroken, even through the disarray that inevitably followed the transfer of power.' And there was war and bloodshed. Yadayadayada. That sentence doesn't even make sense. I still don't understand how you think a bunch of pacifists could manage to gain control of one of the most militaristic militarys in the world.

It wasn't under your control Walka said definatively: Thus me taking control of a section of it was made possible by having a popular support basis, which I am allowed to do under Changes 3rd of November (which no one objected to), which led to legitimacy in the civilian world because they appealed to the patriotic cause which lead to the army being swept into its being, which then followed as a military coup detat, and thus allowed Sere to take control of that whole thing by an Oath of Fealty. Any questions? Still you attacked another power. Shouting matches aside...I think that fighting a war needs to be done by a set of rules which we all agree to...So Armour/Speed(to Dodge) stats and Weapon Stats and so on and so forth. I shall work on a system if no one has a problem with that, since I have no vested interest except a smoothish transition of power and a stable balance of power afterwards. Like I said, Walka seems to have forgotten that he gave me control of the Russian military before all of this, so it's really a moot point you're bringing up. Also, how exactly did you gain control of all of Russia (including the support of all its people) and then somehow convince the Russian citizens to swear the oath of fealty to an enemy country. Doesn't really make sense to me, don't you agree? Russia is under my control. This isn't really debatable. There's no point that anyone can really bring up that would make any sense for why Russia would join anyone but the Terran Federation, their closest ally, trade partner, culture, etc.

The Russian Army was under my control, so I'm not exactly sure how you managed to gain control of it... And, 'I attacked a power which had been invited in'? What does that mean? Me attacking Britain? We were already at war. I think you're the one turning it into a screaming match. And, talking about "win buttons", let's talk about these impenetrable armoured steel encased drop pods that are apparently invulnerable to nuclear interceptor missiles. If that's not a win button idk what is. And I have a fleet over Earth, as well as a couple of battlestations, fighter squads, and the Earth to Space fighters that I can launch, so...

Yup, that seems likely...Everyone on a planet has one ideal... COME ON! Be realistic about this, 1.5 million people revolting against being killed(potentially) is not an unrealistic thing to happen. Further Russia and Terra may have been allies for a long time but Terra only shares one boarder with Russia, so everywhere else would be subject to some kind of take over. Further Walka said the military was paralyzed so they were. Field Marshall Demeter just looked for personal power and by allying himself with Britannia he gained that power, much more than he would have gained if he allied with Terra. Though he then died... But that is beside the point. Who is you guys? The Anti-War league looks for stability without global war erupting...As your actions show you do not want that, so in hindsight the Anti-War League got a good deal, even if they didn't personally choose that path. Anyway, Greater Russian armies are mobilized against the Russian armies and civil war breaks out, Greater Russian forces are numerically superior in Greater Russia but outside of the mapped area are virtually none existent. The population has not been mobilized for fear that they would join the Terran Federation. Thus Greater Russia controls around 12 Million troops(On today's scale so what that is in game terms I don't know... but its a lot, about 9% of the population), focused mainly in the heartland and on the Terra Boarder. The Anti-War League(Under the name 'Russian Unity Party' rises to have popular support in parts of the Heart land of Russia as well as some control outside of the heartland. The Russian Unity party refuses to get involved until after a winner has been decided. Siberia revolts against Greater Russia and aligns itself(in general terms) with the Terran Federation. Valdivostok however remains in Greater Russian hands and has mobilized troops north to protect the boarder. Since the situation is currently defensive Greater Russia makes no moves to expand its territory but instead digs in on the lines established on the map. Um. I'm pretty sure you can't just pull an army of 30 million out of thin air. And Arch, don't try and tell me I'm the bad guy here unless you've read through both the original hegemony and this one thoroughly. Maybe you'll see a different picture then. ... I'm invading a landmass right beside my borders, with some of the best trained and equipped troops in the world, and its an area that has never had any mention of defenses being built there. I'm pretty sure I'd take it, considering it was a surprise attack and all. Also, Ross. Those drones will just be shot down.

I'm pretty sure the Russian planet, land, space stations, and everything else would join the Terran Federation. Also, Walka's post seems to have forgotten that I had control over the Russian military, so no, it wasn't paralyzed. You guys just staged a ground invasion of the largest country that had a millions strong army. Have fun with getting trounced. Anywho, while all you idiots sent your troops to go attack Russia, The Terran Federation has staged a massive amphibious assault on Britain, the homeland of Britannia. Around 4 million veteran troops equipped with the latest Federation military technology have taken the beachheads along southern Britain, and reinforcements are pouring in there (I assume I took the beach-heads since Sere never even talked once about defending them). The Troops in Africa have also prepared their defenses. And I'm actually a bit amazed you guys would think that Russia would join you, considering, as Doom pointed out, Walka and I have been allies for like 100 years.

[hide=Grid Map of Rome][/hide] Y'know, I'll just copy R:TW's units. Weee. [hide=Units] [hide=Velites (Skirmishers)]The lightly-armed velites, or skirmishers, were the fourth part of the Republican legion. They were also the poorest, as they could not afford even an infantryman's equipment, but instead were armed only with throwing javelins, which they flung at the enemy before the lines of infantry met. Velites were occasionally used to significant effect, as at Zama where Scipio Africanus used their javelins to drive away charging Carthaginian elephants. Velites disappeared after the Marian reforms, which made the legion a professional army in which men did not have to pay for their own weapons. OS - 7 DS - 2 RNG - 2-4 MS - 4[/hide] [hide=Hastati (Light Infantry)]The Roman legion was made up of three kinds of infantry, the first of which were the hastati. Normally the youngest men of the legion, they were armed with two throwing javelins (pila is of shorter range than those of velites) and a sword. As they were less experienced than the other two lines of infantry, and also went into battle first (being in front), they often suffered the heaviest casualties. Those who survived the hastati were eminently qualified to move on to the more experienced principes. OS - 10 DS - 4 RNG - 1 MS - 2[/hide] [hide=Principes (Medium Infantry)]These principes were normally men slightly older, in their 20s perhaps. They were, as mentioned before, more experienced, and as such were expected to shift the tide of the battle, after the hastati in front of them had worn down the enemy. They also carried two pila and a sword. Like the other two lines, they had an oval shield called a scutum. OS - 13 DS - 3 RNG - 1 MS - 2[/hide] [hide=Triarii (Heavy Infantry)]The cream of the legion, the triarii was made up of men approaching middle age. These hardened veterans were literally the toughest infantry you could find in the ancient world. The triarii, behind the other two lines of infantry, were not always required to go into battle, but when they did, their enemies had reason to be worried. These men carried a long thrusting spear and a sword. Being richer, they could also afford better equipment. There were also less of them than of the other two lines. OS - 14 DS - 7 RNG - 2 MS - 2[/hide] [hide=War Dogs]Used occasionally in battle by various nations, these dogs were deliberately starved to make them all the more fierce (and hungry!). They were trained to target horses hamstrings and therefore could be used against either infantry or cavalry. They can be a fairly formidable deterrent to any group of infantry. OS - 5 DS - 1 RNG - 1 MS - 4[/hide] [hide=Equites (Cavalry)] Service in the Roman legions depended largely on one economic standing. While the infantry was made up of those who merely owned land (and not even that, after the reforms of Marius), the cavalry consisted of people from the equestrian class, the "knights", who could afford their own horses and weapons, and who in peacetime were often the businessmen of the middle class. Armed with spears, they were useful for ambushes, for pressuring the enemy flanks, and more importantly than is often realized for chasing a fleeing enemy and cutting men down before they could escape. They are armed with spears, swords, and shields. OS - 8 DS - 2 RNG - 1 MS - 6[/hide][/hide] [hide=Roman Tribe] Senatus Populusque Romanus. The Senate and the People of Rome. Rome is a republic, with a senate elected from the leading aristocrats to represent the people as a whole. It is a haven for all outcasts and cutthroats, as long as they give their service to the glory of Rome.[/hide] [hide=Updated Map?][/hide]
