The chemicals and stuff, for lack of a better word, in an average joint is more harmful for you then a cigarette. BUT Who the hell do you know that smokes 20 joints a day? :-k I used to smoke pot a lot back in my early years of high schools, but now I get mild anxiety when I do, so I only smoke occasionally at parties and only in little amounts. And I can tell you from expeirience, that smoking cigarettes is way worse then smoking pot. I've been smoking cigarettes for around a year and a half now and it's horridly inconveinient to quit, and it eats up your cash like there's no tommorow.
