  1. I don't have a problem with most of those. Marilyn Manson is just a stage name pretty much, so it's not really a problem. Nine inch nails I like for some reason, and it makes for a nice abbreviation; NIN. Nickleback, as much as their music sucks, isn't that bad. Anti-flag is a good name, in my opinion. Cracked.com's list. Death has to be good if there is a type of metal named after it. Slipknot.... they took up a perfectly good name!!! Just read Sandy's post and I agree though I don't quite like mastodon.
  2. Well it's certainly fitting. Totally agree!!!!

  5. Post HC is close to screamo I really don't think Fugazi sounds anything like Raein, or I Hate Myself, or Saetia... Also, please cut back on the double posting. There's an edit button if you need to make any minor alterations. who double posted??l guss did. Not the first time I've seen him/her/whatever do it either. Speaking of post-hardcore, this is a marvellous split: I actually like the Thursday side more than the Envy side. : Gus who? Im kind of glad I don't have screamo.

  9. So metal is emo eh? MOST of the "metal" they have at warped tour I would consider "emo". I would consider it post hardcore. alternative rock, or medolic metalcore...definately wouldn't consider it "emo" music Post HC is close to screamo
  10. If thats hell, I would rather suffer through heaven. Not straight edge, duh. the only good thing was Captain Kirk.

  12. Exactly, taking the bible (or any religious text) literally is dangerous. My favourite passage to quote to people who take the text literally is; ...which basically declares the American Dream of working hard and getting rich to be immoral. Do I believe that being rich is wrong - no - but that quote is always a good argument ended in these discussions. The Eye Of The Needle was literally a passage way, archway, I think in rome. I can see how people today can look at it in a different way/ it can have a different meaning.
  13. Seems like there was something about it in the bible.... leviticus is optional, and the other ones arent actually saying homosexuality is a sin, but that being sexually immoral is. The Rom 1:26-28 part seems like its about homosexuality, but if i remember right it was actually about sodomy and polygamy Nice cattle Decapitation, also wouldn't most of us be sinners. I see phobia and immoralities having something in common, If something is different It must be bad.

  19. No, you won the topic with a flawless victory. Best post on this thread! Wait was that just 31 post!???! Also stuff like showing skin wasn't acceptable, until recently (though I don't always agree with the lack of shorts people wear...)!
  20. Mainly just monkey brains though. Indiana Jones - Temple of Doom, HEHE
  21. No, it doesn't work that way. No one else can be the king of pop. Just like Elvis is still the King of Rock. Madonna = Queen of pop Britney Spears = Princess of pop Basic math here. Elvis king of rock and roll! I figured that the prince in this case would inherit the thrown, hehe.
