  1. I have no idea. No one does. The author never came back to make an actual argument. I guess they assumed everyone would agree and rush off to action?
  2. Yay money for ALS! Thanks Bubsa. :D
  3. Personally, I feel we've given Isreal enough money by now and it's just causing us more problems (don't start a whole argument about it though). What you seem to see though is that this is international. It wouldn't be just the US, it'd be all those using the ocean's resources.

    Tramp stamp. :P
  5. I missed it so very, very much... *cries*
  6. Yay facts! I love those things.

It's a Em-attraction ploy. Emily hasn't had any incentive in a long time (not since Cassiel) to make a move on Ash. This need for an incentive stems from the fact that she feels insecure about her sexuality when she thinks about her relationship with Ash, so unless she has some reason, she doesn't want to try getting involved with female version Ash. And yet, she still wants to get involved, thus if someone else starts getting closer to Ash, she feels a stronger incentive to make a move, and quicker. You know, protect her turf and whatnot. Basically, regarding their relationship the introduction of the Chinese girl is parallel to the introduction of Cassiel. (1) Girl appears like she could be attracted to Ash, (2) the [wrong] information gets to Emily, and (3) Emily reacts in an uncharacteristly rash way. Most likely, her action is going to be a bit more significant than a simple confirmation phone call, if you know what I mean :-w . Understand? Yes, I jabber monotonously, I know, tell me if you need a translation. Anyone want to bet cookies for or against me? We don't even know what Ash is going to say in reponse to the the Chinese girl yet, so there's still a good chance I could be wrong. Anyone, anyone? :P I like that explanation right there. If I was Ash I would say, "Come on in, my bedroom is to the right. Clothes off now." :P Seriously, did you see that back shot of Chinese girl. I think the lesbian idea is more decided then she lets it on to be.
  8. Nope, I go with the first one. It's like everything of its class. It only presents benefits and says nothing of how it isn't the perfect thing to do/follow. It makes itself seem infallible, which I do consider deliberately misleading. I'm not blaming this organization as being the only one, as most others do the same, but I personally do not like the style in which this organization did it.
  9. Of course neither is perfect. They're arguing about which one is better. You obviously can't think that they are both equally good. Right, but you can't really compare them in that sense since their flaws and benefits are in very different areas.
  10. Again I say, What if that threat is someone threating to not buy my car by just giving me the money. The 2nd Amendment obviously gives me the right to "bear arms" to relieve my threat of his money and protect my "get a car" fund.
  11. Well wrong forum as this is more of a suggestion, eh? I say it's your fault. Jagex put the release button on all hunting animals for quick release. Sure for chinchompas you don't have to because they stack/everyone wants them, but I don't think it was Jagex's intention to make those little red critters to be the best range training ever.
  12. That's good, you seem to be going about this is the right manner. My one piece of warning though is not too get everything set up too soon or you may not have the chance to realize that it's not what you truly want. Start working at it, but go slowly and think a lot more before going through with it. Good luck with everything though.
  13. Glad we've come to an understanding and actually are in agreement with this specific situation. How grand. I am wondering if it is even legal for anything to be done at his/her age?
  14. Can we give you an AMEN! Debating in any form is part of my lifeblood, and though the online stuff produces the least results, it can also be the most fun and satisfying.
  15. Hm? I was just going completely off-topic with that whole thing. While there are exceptions, I'm not a fan of youngins making huge life-changing decisions either. Life-changing decisions are all good, but when the effects are difficult or impossible to reverse... well someone should be a bit older before deciding on that kind of thing. Even I and my weird self held off some decisions for a later date.
  16. Whoa, this topic is very off-topic, but what'd you expect? Off-topic: My 2 cents about global warming is that it's a natural process the Earth goes though. Humans are multiplying the effects, but you cannot doubt that humans aren't responsible for it. We've got our eyes on the sun and it hasn't shown any relatively abnormal signs of releasing more sun rays. All the evidence is there, so we know that humans are speeding up and multiplying the process of global warming. Because of our impact, there's nothing we can do to stop it. Sure, we can slow it, but one way or another the world is going to go through some major climate and geographical changes within the next 50-500 years. That's a big time plot, but I'm too tired to look up the exact numbers at this moment and changes of this magnitude are unprecedented. When these changes do occur though, a lot of people are going to die. There's no escaping this "inconvient truth" and whether you believe me or not it doesn't matter, as you probably won't live to see it. I do feel very bad for the generation that has to suffer through that though. On-Topic: Congrats for Al Gore. As a person, I've never been fond of him, but I do like what he stands for. I'm all for fighting global warming to postpone the doom that nature will eventually sucker punch us with.
  17. 'Sactly. Seems these days, the pinnacle of existence for 15-25 year olds is getting smashed. These people can't think clearly about what they want for breakfast, let alone anything else. I have never regretted a single decision I've made in my life, nor have I questioned my motives. I remember why I did the bad things I've done and don't regret them as they've made me who I am today. Also, by 15 I was done with drinking and haven't been drunk since. I'm a bit of an oddball, but the point I'm trying to make is that there are always exceptions to everything.
  18. You should be, there are always exceptions to everything. That's what makes us such a diverse species. I was actually one of those exceptions. My mentality and judgement hasn't changed since I was around 15 or 16. I was always the one my friends went to for advice (though they rarely listened and seemed to prefer making the mistakes I told them would happen) and even my adult friends would always marvel at how, for being so young, I seemed to be as wise and "experienced" as someone 3 or 4 times my age. Furthermore, I feel my life and my life-changing decisions have all gone well. Also, I've seen a few of my friends make major decisions like this at young ages and they are usually for the better. You don't have to be 40 years old to realize there's something different about your sexuality, mentality, etc.
  19. Okay, we get it, you think capitalism has flaws (though your logic that at least one person involved in each trade has to suffer is quite risible, considering that the trading of goods and services itself is what gets people the money to survive and live healthy lives). Yet, in comparison to other economic systems, capitalism has time and time again been shown to be the best method. Honestly, what are you arguing? Do you have a better idea than capitalism, and if so can you defend it rather than attack? Or are you trying to argue that everything has to be perfect, that everyone has to live perfectly equally, with no realistic idea of how to bring about this utopia? I had seen this coming. Ginger, Indy and me turned this into a Capitalism vs. Socialism thread. However, one could argue that Socialism isn't perfect, but Capitalism isn't either. Thus revoking this argument: I saw it coming too, but hoped it wouldn't get too extreme. Can't we just agree that there is no "perfect" government (Capitalism and Socialism both have their flaws) and stay on topic?
  20. Anyone who calls for the banning of any right in the constitution, in my mind, is stupid first and a enemy second. Stupid, because they don't know why it's important, and if they DO know why it's important, then they're obviously an enemy to the constiution. If it keeps going, we'll have to fight again. And the government *never* wins against the people. The Gang Abatement Act would take guns away from those whose "threats" are the rival gangs. Constitutional rights are important, but the Constitution and its Amendments were made to create "Domestic tranquility" and protect our rights to life and liberty. If someone has proven themselves to attack the rights of others, then the individual attacking the rights of the public should lose one of his (right to bear arms under the 2nd Amendment as dictated by the Gang Abatement Act) to protect the rights of everyone else.
  21. I know at for the agility tunnel, it's my highest level for those things (except woodcutting), yet it's the one I fail the most at 70 agility. Thieving I'm 63 or 64 and I never fail that.
  22. No. What people need to realize is that capitalism is NOT perfect. Just take a look at companies such as Mcdonalds and Walmart.. *shudders* and imagine how much worse they would be if America was 100% capitalist. Democracy isn't perfect ether. Yes, the concept is good- every one, no matter what background you come from gets to have their say. However it is VERY easy to take advantage of. For example, lets take the annual presidential election in America. Think about who's counting the votes. Is it the people?! NO! It's the government! The government could just manipulate the numbers around so that the people believe said party candidate won, when in fact, the other person won! In essence, a party's candidates could stay in power forever because of this, and the people would feel no need to rebel because they believe they're being treated fairly. I could understand your arguement if this was a different time period. With the mass media we have today, something like that wouldn't stay secret for long. I'm not saying that the government doesn't keep secrets, but that kind of conspiracy would be quickly uprooted. Also, Socialism, with all economic power in the hands of the government, can be used abusively by the government as well. There could be all kinds of scandals with the government hiding/covering up economic changes or putting too much money in their own pockets. There is no such thing as a "perfect" government as humans are greedy and will always take advantage of others when they're higher up. Anarchy isn't an answer either because of the mass choas that would result. My point is that government will always take advantage of its nation, but it's a nesacary evil for (semi-)order.
  23. I'd "Burthrope" it. Bronze dragons just aren't worth it in my opinion.

Don't make it sound like we hate him. He's only human and not all drawings can be perfect. We still love the guy and his drawings.
