My advice to you is to look at quests you're interested in (for reward, plot, or what have you) and aim to meet those requirements. Through that, you can see what you really like about the game and what to really focus on. I ended up focusing on quests and everything else, except combat. :P Also, don't care too much about money. Do you really want to spend your first member's month merchanting, fishing, mining, and/or woodcutting yourself to death?

Socialism works out great in theory (like Communism), but almost always ends up in an opressive, corrupt government. The argument between federal and state government has always been prominent in American history, and it's always hard to find a good balance. Socialism tends to tip the scales a little too much towards federal government control and can end up with a bad dictator, etc. because of human greed. Socialism doesn't always turn out badly though. This summer I met a girl from Switzerland (or Sweden I forget which), and that country's government is a democratic socialist one. I haven't had a chance to look it up at all, but from my understanding, she said it was very fair and popular over there. That was just her opinion, so I don't have any solid proof to give you, but hey I guess it could work. For how long it would work though, who can say? :-k

Yes, you can do Cursing F2P, it's a spell. You need level 19 magic and the rune cost is; 1 body, 2 water, and 3 earth. You get 29 experience per cast, but it's easy experience. The effect is weaking your opponents defense by 5%, just so you know.

Use fairy rings to ring DKS. Head west and you get to the rock crab place and on the north coast and a lot of seaweed spawns. If you can't use fairy rings, I'd suggest Entrana and using glories for banking.

Also for herblore, it's only a small boost, but you can do with 49 (or 48) herblore and use a green man's ale (or mature) to get that last boost. It's not much compared to experience needed for higher levels, but at that level that can seem like a big difference. You don't need the herblore level to start the quest and only need it to make one potion, so don't fear.

I feel inclined to agree completely. Personally, I'm still going to use the Abyss because the thing with ZMI is that the runes are random (duh). So you get experience, but a bunch of runes you may not even need. I'd rather level slowly at the abyss and get cosmics, natures, and laws everytime then use the ZMI and get runes I can't even use to train magic. It really all depends on your point of view. :
