[hide=Quotes] Haha, I agree there. That one was cheesy, although I liked the battling. It was so cliche. "I'm gonna take over the world! Mwahah!" Seems like they just whipped that one together at the last minute. ~~~ As for my progress on FF12, I beat the Pharos and I'm level 65. Right now I'm trying to do all the Hunts and get those last three Espers (Chaos, Ultima, Zodiark). I found Zodiark really annoying, but the other two were quite easy in comparison, which is quite strange. I'm currently doing a second playthrough of FFXII, currently going to the viera home village. It's weird, it's the only game I bothered maxing on my first playthrough. I love FFXII, and the whole Ivalice alliance. Probably my favorite part of the series... Maybe even surpassing FFVII I tended to like FFTA a lot. I lost the game shortly before I beat it though. (right before the last fight). [/hide] Oh man! I forgot about Tactics! I love them. FFTA was awesome and I have FFTA2 though I haven't had a chance to get into it yet.

scariest game
Also, someone gave ratings for suspense and other factors of "scary", and I think I'll do the same because I know the ultimate moment in suspense. The feeling never goes way either no matter how many times you play which beats any other scary suspense. Right there where the blue bouncy thing is. When Jumpman is climbing up that ladder on 75m, it always looks like you're going to die and even if you're sure you're fine (which I am 95% of the time) it still puts you in suspense for that moment. Ultimate suspense.

I'm pretty sure that's the attack where he shoves both of his hands into the ground and [bleep]es shoot out of the ground and kill everyone near him. Well, from what you guys have said, I think I'll end up buying the game. By the way, Devastator attacks are triggered by having health into the Critical Mass zone, that's the blue bit on the health bar at the end, and then holding 2 buttons depending on which of the 3 Devastators. You can also do one if you're about to die if you have the Adrenaline Rush upgrade. All Devastators take health from you except for when you're doing on with Adrenaline Rush. That means for most of the game you can do one until you get more health but with well upgraded Health and Critical Mass you can fit in 2 (I fit in 3 by miracle once) before you're health drops out of Critical Mass zone. The Devastators are the Tendril one where a mass of tendrils erupt out of your body and is great for clearing out a lot of military or infected. Then there's the [bleep]es which puts up many huge [bleep]es where enemies are which is good for clearing out vehicles and some stronger enemies. The last one you can't unlock until near the end but it's Palm Strike and a rush of virusy-blast shoots from your hand basically hurting what's in front of you, but is useful for bosses (I used it a few times against the last 2).

I beat it yesterday. Unlocked all upgrades and have 600/1000 gamepoints from it. Started a game+ for the no death achievement (cause if you just churn though the missions and don't bother running/doing events it isn't the longest game ever). I logged 15-20 hours so far (my friend is playing right now so I can't get an exact) and I spent at least half of that time exploring, doing events, running aimlessly, or just climbing tall buildings. Then I started hard mode to and it is significantly harder (especially since I was used to all the powers). I have 160/200 landmarks and 30-40 hints. I must say the map Gamestop gives you for preordering sucks. It's small, inaccurate and only tells you 25/50 of the hints. Little figurine was cool though. Overall a really fun game, though some of the plot was told badly (I mean, that twist for the final boss with very poorly given motivation, come on). Honestly, I only got it because I don't have a PS3 and couldn't get Infamous. Oh I want that game... so... so... badly....

Games Franchises that Should Give Up
Some of the best games are older than dirt. Pong ftw! Anyway, I miss good Sonic. Dumb Sonic needs to die. If they just made a Sonic game where you run, no dumb gimmick or extra characters no one cares about. Hell even a Sonic Adventure 3. Maybe they'd be taken off that list then. Seriously... what is Sega doing? How do they not see what they're doing?

Batman: Arkham Asylum
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! I just played the demo. Smoothest beat-em-up I've ever played. Can't wait for the stealth and detective portions too. I'm so bummed it got pushed back to August. I went to pre-order it just to discover I was probably the last to hear about the delay.

Final Fantasy Discussion thread
Best in order of my opinion: VII (I'm a fanboy, I'll admit it) VI & X (I can't decide between them, but they're a VERY close second) IV II I (it started it all and is pretty damn fun) Worst: III (set up important precedents, but I cannot stand it) XI (MMO, really?) XIV (another MMO, really?) Though I still haven't finished XII (just leaving the first city via airship now) and haven't played VIII or IX. V is also worth mention because of the amazing job system and fun value. Though bad dialogue and having the main villian be named ExDeath did ruin it a bit for me.

scariest game
Silent Hill 2. That game creepied me out like no tomorrow. I need to find a new copy.

Star Ocean games
All are set in the same universe, but all are pretty seperate (except 1 and 2 maybe?). I know 2, 3 and 4 are all stand alone. I also know I hate 3 with all my soul. The combat was so much fun and I loved that, but the intelligence-insulting dialogue and what-seemed-to-be-good-but-turned-into-a-terrible storyline ruined the game for me. The only reason I finished it was because I like to finish what I start and I was REALLY, REALLY hoping for a redeeming ending... I was SORELY disappointed to say the least. But combat was fun. =P Edit: Opps, got into a 3 rant and forgot to tell you that I heard 2 was really good. I'd go for that one unless all you want is fun combat. Though 3's item creation was interesting too, though I never got into it.

Smithing Brawlers. **New Question*
What are smithing brawlers?

Increasing price of fury's and whips?
That'd be my main guess, though the fact that all the children are getting out of school and rushing to spend hours fighting hordes of monsters on their favorite MMO is probably a factor too.

Macaw pouches and Beacon Lighting
To my knowledge all logs give the same experience.

Stealing Creation tools?
How long do they last? To be more specific, the hammer cause that's the one I'm interested in. Also, I'm going to smith about 15k iron bars so about how long would I stay at stealing creation to get enough hammers for all that?

Best place to fill vials with water?
Oh yeah! That's what I used before I took a break! Thanks guys. It's amazing how much you forget in 9 months. =P

Best place to fill vials with water?
What? Buy them?

Best place to fill vials with water?
I usually use the waterpump next to Falador west bank, but is there a better spot?

Best Way to Get Seaweed
Which guy where? Thanks, I do that when I fish monks, but my previous methods were faster for pure collection.
-
Best Way to Get Seaweed
I need to make some vials, so I need some seaweed since I refuse to buy anything. Bottom line, where can I get seaweed the fastest? I know I used fairy rings before I took a hiatus, but I don't know if a better way has presented itself in my absence or if they is another way I overlooked all along.

Oh my? Sailing with submarines?
I'd be willing to bet that's the next big quest they come out with, Cold War 2 that is. They used Postbag to hint at it and set up other submarines for more speculation. I'm excited no matter what it is, cause I know it's not sailing. :shame:

Farming
1) I don't think so? Not sure. Jagex has probably made some comment about it. 2) Yes, unless you have the time to sit around, I like to pay for them because you get the payment materials through farming you did at previous levels. Letting them die is a waste of time and money. 3) Toadflax gives great profit (I just did a bunch of them). Ranarrs are okay, but the seeds are pretty expensive so they aren't the best. To my knowledge, Snapdragons seem to be the best profit makers

Fight Arena
You can mage or range him in safety and run up and let him attack you for a few moments before running back to avoid him getting bored.

70 prayer?
Depends on your skill levels and how dedicated you are. Took me a month or 2, but I was also training range up to 70 at that point. And I used the blue dragons under the ogre city. Halbreds also work well there, I did that once I had 70 range.
