Best POH layout?
Looks as good as any house I've seen. As long as the door alignments work out and you like it, go for it.

Best POH layout?
Arcley knows what's up. And yeah, Quyneax's design is the best for bossing, but I am primarily a skiller and have access to almost every re-usable transport option in the game, so that's what my advice focused on. Also, not everyone uses butler service (I certainly didn't in my days of poverty). So that's where I'm coming from. I still stand by Workshop and Kitchen being important for whichever method of Construction training is used, as well as a Study for teletab making. But it's all down to what ForeverNight wants to use the house for.

Best POH layout?
No offense, mslkid, but that looks like a pretty bad design. And what I'm about to tell to ForeverNight will explain what I think is wrong with yours too. OT: First and foremost, good house design stars, in my opinion, by making the most important rooms of your house as close to the entrance portal as possible. The most important rooms (again, my opinion) are: Chapel, Study, Portal Chamber, Workshop, and possibly Kitchen (depending on how you train Construction). Putting these rooms as close to the entrance portal as possible ensures that if you're training prayer at Chapel, making tele tabs in Study, teleporting in Portal Chamber, repairing armour or grinding flatpacks in Workshop, or grinding oak larders in the Kitchen, all of it will be as fast as possible because it's near your point of entrance. This changes depending on how you do things and how you use servants, but those are the rooms I consider most important. ForeverNight, your formal garden (where I assume your entrance is going to be) is in a good spot, touching 2 portal chambers and the chapel. Since the number of ways to transport oneself around Runescape has increased significantly since construction's release, I think only 1 portal chamber is really necessary (mostly for the Canafis tele), but if you don't have a lot of transport methods unlocked or have specific plans for the teleports, having 2 portal chambers will give you access to 6 of 7 portal possibilities. But don't be afraid to cut one out if you don't need it. Also, I would switch the positions of your Skill Hall and Quest Hall with your Workshop and Study. Alternatively, if you cut one of the portal chambers, put your Workshop or Study there depending on what you're going to use more often. Or if you're going to use your Kitchen when you train construction one day (always leave possibilities open or you might have to muck around the entire house), move the Kitchen close to the Formal Garden. Okay, with that kind of efficiency out the way, you can focus on everything else. While good training spot management might make your house useful for you and others to use for training, it's all the other rooms that make a house fun and feel like home. So, I do not think that Quest/Skill Halls look like towers unless they have an actual second floor. But the most important part you missed is that you can build them on top of each other. I would put the Quest Hall on the Ground Floor since you can get unlimited Glory teleports from it, but ultimately, it's not that big of a deal. So maybe put a Costume Room, Games Room, Parlour, and/or Throne room on the ground floor where you want the first floor's rooms to be, then put 2 bedrooms, and whatever other fun rooms you missed on the first floor. Then surround some of the ground floor rooms with a Menagerie or two, maybe some gardens (possibly one with a dungeon entrance if you want a dungeon, though the best dungeons are built in houses that only care about the dungeons so they can allocate all room allowances to dungeon space). It'll take some tweaking to get something you really like (my houses plans took fooooorever), but for the best house, it needs to be a personal thing for you. A great starting point is thinking about training possibilities that I mentioned, and then just use other advice and your own desires to just putting everything else down. Wow, that was a much longer post than I meant it to be, but hope I helped.

Smithing help - Artisan's workshop?
Between herb farming and MTK I can easily make a few mil a day if I play for awhile. That's not my biggest concern cause I have some money saved and don't care about lost potential profit or exp waste, I just wanna train smithing. However, I think I would be hard pressed to spend 10m+ on this endeavor. Just lemme hear your suggestions and I'll figure out for myself if the cost is worth it. :)

Smithing help - Artisan's workshop?
So I am currently 72 smithing and aiming for 82 (or 81 and I'll just use a dwarven stout when I need to). I was thinking about using the artisan's workshop, but A) I was on hiatus when it came out so I have no idea how it works and B) I've looked and can't seem to find anyone saying whether or not it's good exp. Does anyone know if it's good exp? My other options include: 1) Smelting gold with gold gauntlets (about 2m loss which I could afford, but the exp isn't that fast) 2) Iron smelting and smithing (kinda tried this before and switched to gold because it was too slow, not sure what the cost would be but I could probably afford it) 3) Blast furnacing steel (possibly for cannonballs) or mithril or something. I enjoy the blast furnace, but it might be even slower and costlier than the other options. Ultimately, I care more about speed because smelting 20k+ gold bars seems like the best combo of cost and speed, but I know that I'll get bored and stop before too long so I'm looking for other options. I was recently on a three year hiatus so I would not be surprised that there is another method out there that's better but I just haven't heard about it. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :D

Stuck on Morytania Task
Alternatively, if you have no ring of slaying, you can just take the long way and tip.it can show you how. If you do it this way, you'll want to bring some food and/or prayer pots. Leave the mine and go back in through the entrance that requires jumping over the mine carts. Then follow this simple line: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=tarns_lair.htm#walkthrough Then just scroll up to see the path to take to Tarn's liar. Just BE CAREFUL! There are a lot of spikes and traps that pop up. The damage from that + zombie attacks can kill any player if they aren't paying attention. Good luck!

Nomad and Sara Brew help
So I'm trying to fight Nomad, and I'm having a lot more trouble than I think I should have. I've seen videos and discussions of people doing it with worse stats and gear, even before magic absorption was added. I think part of the problem is I don't know how to effectively use sara brews to keep myself alive and still keep my range level at a decent place. Can someone give me some step-by-step "explain it to me like I'm 5" sort of help on how to use that dastardly potion? For reference I'm ranging him and my stats are 72 range, 82 def, 82 con, 76 pray My set-up was: Helm of Neitiznot, black d'hide chaps and bod, ava's alerter, Culin gloves 10, snakeskin boots, archer's ring, ammy of ranging, illuminated book of balance, rune crossbow, switching between ruby and diamond bolts, and vampirism for good measure. That puts me at +180 ranged attack, +107 magic def, +13% absorb magic, +103 ranged strength, +11 prayer I turn on steel skin and eagle eye prayers and am planning to use a tortoise familiar followed by a kyatt after emptying the tortoise, but I haven't gotten that far in the fight yet. >.< I'm doing the hiding behind the pillar and stepping out to attack technique, but he still seems to be hitting me too fast for too much damage for me to do more than guzzle sara brews and then some super restore to get my ranged level back up. Should I grind to royal d'hide gear? Gano? Melee instead with my 80 str & att? Gah, this is so much more frustrating because I know how very doable this is. Anyway, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! :D

ROTM experience lamps
Wow, that's pretty cool. Any idea how many potions I can make in that time? And does the 1.1x exp last the entire weekend?

ROTM experience lamps
I've seen people talking about bxpw, what is that?

ROTM experience lamps
I want to spend my 3 80k exp lamps from RotM on Prayer, Herb, or Summoning. My prayer is 74, herblore is 73, and summoning is 72. I'm aiming for turmoil, extremes, and unicorn; so I'm not sure which skill should get the 240k exp boost. Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

ZMI w/ or w/o familiar?
Hey, I feel like a nub with all the questions I've been asking recently, but anyway. To make ZMI runecrafting faster is having a familiar (i.e. abyssal lurker) going to make things slower or faster? Thanks!

Stacking Invisible and Visible boosts?
Do invisible and visible skill boosts stack? The example I was specifically wondering about is if the visible level boost from a fishing boost and invisible boost from summons like the Ibis both boost to make me fish faster. I know only the fishing potion would help me catch something like a shark at level 73 fishing, but do the two boosts stack for faster fishing? Thanks!

Updated Quests and Minigames?
So I'm coming back from a 3-year hiatus and randomly stumbled upon receiving bones from the priest for restless ghost. Not much exp, but it was a nice bonus. Is there a way to find out if other quests have updated for exta rewards? And how about which minigames have been updated? An old friend was telling me how much he loved new Temple Trekking and its revamp is really fun. Any other minigames get a breath of new life? Or is there at least an easy way to figure that out without going through each minigame (as if I could remember them all :P )? Thanks for any help!

Fight Cave advice
Hey, I need to kill a 360 for Karajma tasks, so I figured I'd give Jad a run for the fire cape. My states are: Att - 70 Str - 71 Def - 79 Pray - 73 Range - 70 Can I get some advice on what gear/tactics to use? I'm thinking rune crossbow with broad bolts. But I also have Guthan's, is a tactic involving that still viable? Thanks, it's been awhile since I posted. =P

Does raw chicken work to make Spirit Terrorbirds?
I don't buy things. That's just silly.

Does raw chicken work to make Spirit Terrorbirds?
Huh?
-
Does raw chicken work to make Spirit Terrorbirds?
The title is self-explanatory. It says you need raw bird meat, so is that only the bird meat from hunting or can I just go kick a few chickens?

Um..What is wrong ?
Nope. You could never go through that wall without doing that quest, even when the quest first came out.

Is RS Your 'Dirty Little Secret?'
Wow that school is ridiculous. I told people I still played runescape while in high school, though I was the last one by that point. People giggled, but no one cared. If you're scared someone is going to jump you, report them. Attacking people for the games they play is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Games Franchises that Should Give Up
WHOA! Mario 64 was "eh"? It brought platformers into 3D like Ocarina of Time brought adventures. It's also a great entry to the series. Save the princess and battle Bowser in a whole new way. I do agree that they are milking him though. I did enjoy Galaxy though. I'm not looking forward to number 2 though. And what was wrong with Windwaker? The only part I had any complaints about was finding the 8 pieces of the Triforce. Other than that it was a solid game. A lot of fun and sufficiently epic. Even the graphics were great. Everyone complained about cell shading, but it fit the game perfectly and was done really it, it all looked great.

[PROTOTYPE] - Official Topic
Diveroll is the best way to evade the Hunters, but I still hate that attack. The Mother boss was annoying. Whipfist and palm strike devastator won me the fight. I never felt that. Just stay disguised as much as necessary and use the armor/blade combo whenever possible. Air slice is very useful. Whipfist is also an incredibly useful power. Hit things from far away.
