  2. just a quick suggestion... since youre thinking about ankou.... Why not try Crumble Undead? It is very effective on Ankou, and you can autocast it using the Slayer Staff.
  3. its not a percentage deal... for all foods, at a certain cooking level you burn less, and at another level you burn none. Wearing the gauntlets lowers those level requirements for all foods. Jagex doesn't publish those numbers, unfortunately.
  4. no, sorry. only member;s accounts can trade members items. sucks, don't it?
  5. Level One : Minotaur : Skull Right Half Level Two : Flesh Crawler : Bottom of Sceptre Level Three : Catablepon : Top of Sceptre Level Four : Ankou : Skull Left Half P.S. If you are looking for melee training and can manage it long-term, Ankou drop some very useful items on a regular basis.
  6. When a thief breaks into a house, we do not say that it is the home owner's fault for insufficiently protecting the house. Therefore, we do not also say that the victim of a scam is to be blamed, or somehow deserves to be scammed. The rationalization that the victim deserves to be victimized simply because he/she has fallen prey is duplicitous, and not logically sound. This type of argument is only used by criminals who wish to rid themselves of their own guilt.
  7. no no, you guys misunderstand. every item has a certain probability of dropping on any given kill. odds dont "reset," they simply exist. you could kill any number of them, and on the next kill, have exactly the same chance of getting any item as on any other kill. I want to know what those chances are exactly. p.s. any number of Blue Dragons logged is a great help. I put 100 up there just because thats what I started with.

  9. First let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a college student majoring in Mathematics, and I am fascinated with statistics. I wish to know, for the sake of knowledge, the exact probability of any particular drop for one of the popular runescape monsters, the Blue Dragon. Therefore I am currently compiling a HUGE amount of data on Blue Dragon drops. The goal is to be able to accurately predict the relative odds of any item being dropped by a Blue Dragon. Here's how you can help. 1. Kill 100 Blue Dragons 2. Log each drop. Dont include d-bones or d-hide, DO include how many coins are dropped each time, not just how many you have at the end. to help, the numbers should be 11, 44, 132, or 200 most of the time. 3. Post your list here. 4. enjoy your hard-earned rewards. Also, I would like you to indicate whether or not you were wearing a ring of wealth during training, and as an added bonus, I am going to once and for all determine how much the ring improves the odds of any single drop. Oh, and also exclude Clue Scrolls from your log, as they drop in addition to another drop and are considered outside the probability of the other drops. (which is why a ring of wealth does not get you more clues) I will start off with a log of my own to show you exactly what i mean. Muchas Gracias to the following people for their support: Pool30295 DegenerateX
  10. actual level, confirm hitpoints, drops, any tips you might pick up etc. its not that big a deal i was just trying to emphasize that it is in fact a level40 and not a 108
  11. free_steel those are both good ideas but I would suggest fishing for lobsters or swordfish and selling to the f2p. That is of course if you are a member?
  12. u can grow them if you are high enough farming and lucky enough to get a seed, or you can get them from monster drops. I personally have gotten a good many from cave crawlers in the slayer dungeon (watch out, they poison!), but you couldnt do wrong by running a search in the bestiary.
  13. yes, totally I dont think the tip.it bestiary is any accurate on any of the chamions due to everyone only getting to fight them once. perhaps you could grab some data during your fight? especially the part where its only lvl 40, not 108.
  14. the runescape.com knowledge base says that the skeleton champion is level 40. Also the Tip.it mini-game guide says that it is level 40. There is no champion that is level 108. http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/windowsclient/viewarticle.ws?article_id=2252 http://tip.it/runescape/?page=champions_challenge.htm#
  15. yes, there is a lvl 17 monk of zamorak in a cage under the stairs in the front room of varrock castle. Please, would you be so kind as to tell me what exactly is a fail spell? I've seen the term before, and I think I know what it means, but I'd like to be sure
  16. The Skeleton Champion is only lvl 40. You could break off his leg and beat him to death with it (Bone Club? hee hee :D ) The only restriction for the fight is that you may only use ranged attacks, but you seem to have that under control. Let me know how it goes, I've never seen a skeleton archer in action before and I'm kinda jealous.
  17. kiddioo is right, i am way too lazy to look up your account. tefda, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
  18. if you would only examine the item you are holding you would find that it is a "razor sharp sword of obsidian," commonly referred to as the obsidian or "obby" sword. A good price-listing web site that I am not allowed to mention the name of lists it at 70-90k. In terms of stats, you might want to think of it a a Dragon Short sword, although it falls slightly shy of that. You'll find it's attacks are similar to those of a short sword, and is better than a rune short. But where the rune short's stab (its strongest stat) is equal to the rune long's stab (its lesser stat) the obsidian sword does not have quite the stabbing power of a dragon long by 11 points. Almost, but not quite
  19. for all skills except prayer, the exp you get per point is your level in that skillsquared, then divided by 6. For prayer it is your level squared then divided by 12. To summarize: Att, Str, Def, Ranged, Magic, HP: (Level)*(Level)/6 Prayer: (Level)*(Level)/12
  20. I'm only lvl 55 mage, so i dont know if this is any help or not. when I was a f2p (not that long ago) I trained my magic casting fire strikes on the caged Lesser on the top floor of the Wizard's Tower. I suppose you could use Fire Bolts instead, but they are more expensive per exp gained. another expensive way would be to cast crumble undead on the zombies in Varrock Sewers, you know the place where you can stand on the other side of the river of whatsit (hey, its the sewers remember)? The only problem with that is you cant autocast crumble undead.
  21. the lumbridge swamp mine is good, but sometimes crowded. it has 2 addys there and 7 coal. if youve done the Lost City take your Dramen Staff with you and use the bank in Zanaris. Otherwise the closest Bank is in Draynor. The Grand Tree Mine is a good one too. It has 3 addy ore spots, 11 coal and a close bank. If you are set on making bars quickly and dont mind getting pked every now and then, the Hobgoblin Mine is the way to go. Its at lvl 32 Wild, has 7 addy ,32 coal, and there is a furnace right near it, so every trip gets you a full load of bars, not just ore. Unfortunately it is quite a way from Edgeville Bank. The Very Best Spot to mine Addy in my opinion is right where you've probably been the while time: The good ol' Dwarven Mines! There are 3 addy rocks over by the King scorpions just one click away from the stairs into east Falador. There's even the Mining guild right there for coal! Hope this helps, from a fellow miner.
  22. my one word of warning to anyone who fights lizards: Do NOT think for a second that you can "just barely squeeze by" on your water supply just to kill those last couple lizards. Dying of thirst while trying to click "go-through Shantay Pass" would be really really humiliating. (no it didnt happen to me, but i got down to 4hp)
  23. I beat elvarg as a combat level 48 and I only used full steel (didn't want to lose my good stuff). It was a close battle, but you should be fine.
  24. What?!? No one even mentions the farm on the North end of Ardougne!?! I dont craft leather much (I find pot lids in the crafting guild to be fastest) but if you're looking for cows near a bank, you can't get much closer than Ardougne.
  25. apple cider gives farming plus one. check out http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=cooking_guide.htm for more info
