  1. I did a mixture between fire giants and baby blue dragons, either one works very well.
  2. No, it doesn't. That's the highest f2p totals, not combat levels. :P
  3. Technically one, but I have a few people added that are his real life friends.
  4. What'd so hard about a skill cape? I've seen people level 3 with them  But more on-topic: When I'm training combat, I wear my fire. When I train non-combat skills, i wear my skill cape.
  5. It sounds good except for the potato chips and the french fries. It kind of goes against the runescape theme...
  6. Hahah, brings back memories. When I was a low level, it was still runescape classic. For about 4 days, I used to camp out at the goblin hut over the dagger, and sat there, grabbing them, until I got a full inventory. Also, might I add, there was a surprising amount of competition. I would then go directly to the varrock sword shop, and sell every last one of them. Those were good times :D
  7. I generally get over 2k hits in games over 2-3 minutes. I think my record was around 4k in a 4 minute game (with a whip)
  8. I'm personally surprised no one has mentioned crafting. This skill is probably in the top 5 for the hardest skills to get to 99. To be completely honest, I have seen every single skill cape ingame excluding crafting (and farming :-# ).
  9. Kind of wierd, lately i've been seeing a LOT of players with similiar names like "tzb01" and "tzb02" at the ogre enclave, but generally it's only at 2 AM. Oddly enough, about a week after I started seeing them, blue d hide and d bone prices fell significantly. :-k One day I was fed up with all the spots being full, so I stole one of the tzb's spots. After I shot at it a few times, he spazmodically walked to the next spot, only to find tzb02. He just went back and forth between the 2 spots until I was full. It was pretty funny.
  10. Yea, I was going to say that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when the construction quest came out, didn't people already have 99 construction?
  11. In my experience, when I look up players, the females around combat level 90 are more likely to have the 1700-1800 skill totals as opposed to the males.
  12. This was actually a friend's idea, but I liked it so much i decided to post it here. Also, since I have no knowledge on how Runescape works, I'm not sure how hard this would be for Jagex to set up... The basic idea is to show what happened in runescape that day. You could see (for example) how many magic logs were cut that day, how many high alchemys were performed, how many kalphite queens were killed, and stuff like that. I think it would be interesting to see stuff like that, but that's just me. Feel free to comment on whether you like/hate this idea :D
  13. Those emotes are really cool. For some reason, I loved the agility one.
  14. The one thing so far that I don't like about this is that it only covers the heros guild. Since there's only one dragon there, its usually a battle on who can cast mage the fastest. Those who don't have a fast internet connection or computer will probably be better off using the ogre enclave, or maybe even taverly. I don't know if you're going to cover that when you update it, but adding that would make it much better. Other than that, very nice guide.
  15. This one guy came up with about 20 completely ridiculous skills. I remember a few of them: 1. Whispering skill 2. Agreeing to Jagex's terms and policies skill 3. Kite flying skill 4. Car driving skill 5. Hitting two sticks together skill After he was shot down by numerous people, he said that he told his whole family about them, and his family thought they were great. #-o
  16. I was wondering the best spot to train firemaking. I have the 6.1k maples needed for 75 firemaking, so I'm not looking for a spot to cut the maples then burn them. I need a bank where I can either start fires inside the bank itself, or within one or two steps from the banker spot.
  17. 100 seed nests?!? =P~ Going to post what you got from them as well? I forgot to, I already sold all the seeds... I do remember I had 1 yew, 3 magic seeds, 23 acorns, 11 banana seeds, 4 palm, 1 maple, and 18 willows. I had more, but I don't remember exactly what.
  18. Decent results, 20 days with 3M initially in the coffers, got back 1.5M, so I definately made a profit.
  19. Either August 2001 or January 2002. Maybe a little after, but about that time. I know I started at the beginning of a semester of 6th grade, so its one of those 2.
  20. I started at the beginning of 6th grade, which was roughly 5 years ago. After a while, (a week or so..) I lost interest. About a year later, my neighbor played it, which got me to play again. I really got into it, but quit in the middle of 8th grade. Then, I got back into it about 5 months ago, and that's my story.
  21. The capes haven't even came out yet and there are already some complainers? #-o
  22. I'm pretty sure this is Jagex's response to all of the "higher levels want better items" threads. I also think that they are only going to let you have one cape at a time, but that's just me.
  23. I can understand it for something like woodcutting, fishing, or mining, but I don't understand how it would apply to skills like herblore, slayer, or smithing.
  24. I started doing that yesterday. About 30 seconds into playing, one of my strings broke. :(
