  1. Seriously? You can bind 125 ammo AND a weapon? Can somebody confirm @Dungeonal, thanks.
  2. You are right, but hey this is one of the biggest thread in the forum now. Actually this is probably the fastest growing thread in tif history. I am a bit confuse here about binding. If you bind a weapon and then you quit the dungeon after finishing the floor and do something else(like gwd), will you lose the bound item? Also, is the lever room possible to do solo?
  3. Sure, it is my pleasure to provide some entertainment. However again you stated something which you refuse to provide something to back it up, now you are just trolling a bit.(Having lulz by trying to provoke rage)
  4. I do not understand it? Where did you get the impression that I was "huffy"? I was just curious as to what your reasonings are.
  5. Now you are just being stubborn and a bit rude, but alright.
  6. No offense, but that is horrible reasoning and assumpation. You are not willing to provide details as to how it is been redefined over and over again. Unless you provide some reasoning I seriously have no idea what are you talking about. I can just state that the developers are trying to make the best improvements to generate more profit, Jagex is a business after all. As to the skill is more like an activity, yes I agree it is more like an activity than other skills, but is it an issue? I do not think so. Think about it, if Jagex decide to release D'eering as an activity with no changes instead of the category it is placed under, will the game play suddenly change? Absolutely not because the core of the content has not been changed. Yes there are people who thinks this is an issue, biggest reason so far seems to be that it is only in one location. I think it is safe to say that there are going to be more than one dungeons, so are the ranters satisfied? To be honest I think many of those people just rant for the sake of ranting. Lastly, yes Jagex is making the game they want. However, you provided no evidence that the majority of players dislike their decisions. In fact if you check the post on RSC posted by W13, Jagex is making more money than ever. They are successful, and I doubt they can do that if more than 50% of their players dislike the way the game is going. So really, you do not wish to provide details, that is fine, but please do not be surprised if people are skeptical on your statements.
  7. If you notice, even though the point has been raised repeatedly, no one defending “Dung as a skill” addresses it. The problem is not just the label of “skill.” If that is all it was, who would care? The problem is that having Dung classified as a skill will have other consequences in the game; for instance, the ability to do a quest or finish an achievement diary. I am sure there are others as well; the law of unintended consequences is a [bleep]. This complaint is just ignored, probably because it will not matter for months, or even years. But the day when someone can’t do a quest, and therefore not be able to wear his quest cape, or get to a particular spot, or get a certain drop, and then they will then lament the classification of Dung as a skill, and not just the mini-game that it is. Before dismissing the complaint of the “skill” label, you may want to consider that those with concerns may be looking further down the road than you are. The question here is that why would someone not train dungeoneering for a quest requirement. Just because it is more similar to a minigame than any other skill? Again the real thing here is that do YOU like it as a piece of CONTENT? I honestly do not believe that if Jagex suddenly decide to release the exact same thing as an activity the gameplay will be immediately better. My point is this, yes you can debate if D'eering is a skill or an activity, whichever one it is, it does not change the fact that the game play will still be EXACTLY THE SAME.
  8. What issue did they fail to address? It is confirmed the team is considering changing the rewards. The solo log out issue is been fixed as they attempt to find a solution. There is going to be a reward pack 2 coming sometime. I never actually felt binding is that much of an issue after seeing how quickly people leveled. I am satisfied with the answer given to the minigame/skill debate. Point is, I really do not think they missed anything major. To your second statement, how is Runescape been constantly redefined? I thought Runescape is always, and will be, a MMORPG.
  9. Might want to change your sig with the new addition of songs =p
  10. Guthorm replied to baalboy5's topic in Off-Topic
Well there are previous cases in which this kind of thing is disallowed. For example here coaches cannot pray with the football team etc, still I do not see it as a big problem.
  11. I can also generalize that all FPS games is just click and shoot, it does not make it true.
  12. You might want to explain that a bit more. You will probably be forced to raid small rooms at higher levels, even so it is going to be close.
  13. I do not understand, you act as if there is no team based activity in the game at all before D'eering. It is definitely not the first piece of content which you can group with a party. I believe it all started with KBD, then KQ, etc etc etc. This has been introduced since what? 2003/2004? I doubt anybody in that time period said that this is the first step in which you will be forced to play in a team. Heck I did not see ONE complaint(at least on here) when corp came out, corp is definitely not a solo job and unless you are extremely wealthy, you cannot solo it. D'eering is not the first thing that has a group function and it is definitely not a signal that all future Runescape content is going to be team based. Yes no doubt there are going to be more content based on teamwork and such, but you cannot fully expect Jagex to focus entirely on solo players. If you really want to play a game that focuses entirely on single play..well, that is called a RPG. PS: I am a bit annoyed that you predicted the death of Runescape when nothing much has been changed, if you did not notice, there are many players who are enjoying the skill and to them, Runescape is becoming better. PPS: I am a bit grumpy because I am still missing lunch, bear with me here.
  14. How does that prevent it from being the great weapon that it is? It's like saying "I prefer bronze over bandos cause it looks moar kewl" I'd get the rapier, and maul. Dps = Everything. Unless in pvp. Don't forget; Size doesn't matter. I know, except the difference is not big enough for me to reconsider(your comparision is a tad too extreme..just a tad). I am not the most efficient player, I do things in which I consider more fun, and I like the longsword better than a rapier because it looks better. Obviously if I am so handicapped I am going to change, but since this is not the case, I am getting the longsword.
  15. Nice tip, might want to post this in help and advice instead though.
  16. Why do you think it will completely destory the foundation?
  17. Bottom line is just this, you like it, but you hate the name. Thats like me saying I love eating the big mac but I hate its category, it should be called a sandwich instead of a hamburger. Does it really matter that much if you enjoy it?
  18. First of all, it is possible to solo and the experience is not behind team play, I really do not believe that this is a huge issue anymore. Jagex is also attempting to allow players to save their progress in solo play. Secondly, you said that it is FUN, but the only problem you have with this that is because it is similar to a minigame...So having a different name bothers you that much? You confirmed that you like the content, but you dislike the category it is placed under. I mean I understand the arguement that it is like a minigame, but you enjoy it, you like it, why are you having a problem with it?
  19. I am getting the longsword simply because I think fighting with a rapier is wierd as hell. I tried fencing before and it feels wierd to jab with the foil, is like "I AM GONNA OWN YOU BY [puncture]ING YOUR SKIN WITH MAH TINY SWORD." Need more manliness.
  20. Aww, you didn't notice my post in that thread :(
  21. What floor is this on anyway? Also according to the FAQ, in order to achieve have the most challenging boss in the game, it must be a 5 men team of almost maxed levels. Does this mean the only way to face this "thing" is to find such a team? Or is Mod Em just saying that the level of the boss will go higher? I am personally hoping for a secret boss/floor.
  22. Maybe Guthix is sleeping there?
  23. I feel thats more of an [wagon] pull.
  24. After I finished the trailer I thought it was a bit cheesy to be honest, but eh is just a trailer.
  25. [hide] [/hide] Kinda gave it away there in your chat
