Oh god, farming those obby charms is going to kill you. I have about 500 blues and I thought of making lava titans for summoning, it is taking me FOREVER to farm them and I am sick to death with the tzhaar area right now. I never ever want to go back there again.

Dunno about you, I am combat 125(about to be level 126) and my highest level is 94 hp because I really do not care for skill capes. Sometimes people ask me do you have any 99s, I say no because I do not want to spend time getting something that is useless and they respect that. I have never had any problem with this, sounds to me maybe is just because you met one person who is not so nice.

Oh god, this is terrible, I have to go and collect all the damn secondaries. I just spend like 2 hours mining 1.5 granite, now I am picking about 1k bananas for fruit bat, then I need to farm about 400 obby charms for lava titan and finally I need to pick 1k swamp toads.

Well I think you need to understand my position here, you are telling me that your school's quality of education is so low that you can do better studying on the internet. That is kind of unbelievable, no course guidance/qualified teachers/planned lessons? If the school really is that bad, why did not your community do something about it? Or do you live in a really poor location? If your school is as bad as you have described above, I doubt more efficient spending will help that much, the core reason is going to lie with the lack of funds. Hey with more money you can have better people planning more efficient spending at your school. Ok, I am going to go with this. You do not actually directly pay for a service, you give your money to the government and trust they will make the best out of it, if something has that kind of quality, it is probably that is how much you paid for it. Eh, personal perference, too much time spending at the computer screen burns my eyes. The original arguement was how you dislike roads right? But you did receive an education, and the reason it is horrible because they do not have enough money, and the reason you are going to a crappy school is because your family does not have enough money to either buy a house with a better location or pay you to go to private school. There is something different from reading something in a book and reading the same thing on the internet, libraries also provide a wonderful studying environment. The same arguement for roads can be used in everything, I can argue because of the internet, we now have cyber crimes, cyber bullying, etc etc. The reason we have these things is because the pro outweigh the cons. There are stuff you like provided by the government that others may not, if everybody pay for whatever they want, we would have alot less things than we have now. Your reasoning is pretty selfish(no offense), I don't like this thing so I am not going to pay for it, if everybody does this, then we would have much less public build projects. Hell the army are going to be decreased because there is a large number of people who dislike fighting.

That is true, the cost for private schools have already reached an equilibrium, there will be little or no change in the cost even if the majority of schools become private schools. if the private schools do lower their cost, then you do not receive the same quality as you do now. To OP: I hope at least you are not surprised that nobody agreed with you on this.

Yes, prices for products is determined by supply and demand and the prices will reach an equilibrium if there is a shift in either two variables. But what you described is exactly what is happening right now, businesses compete in competitive markets trying to maximize revenue without having too much marginal cost. I don’t see your point in that one. The police is something different, if you have to directly pay for the police, then it becomes “Hey, I will protect you because you paid me, forget the others because you are the one who is paying me.” In other words, the cost is actually higher for the average citizens and justice cannot be served because money rules everything. If a crook committed a crime, a company send police force to arrest him, crook pays the police’s wage to hire them and stop the arrest, then where is justice served? There will be less of the public service projects such as roads and libraries because the construction of such projects is much more expensive. Before everybody pays for these things indirectly with tax money, now people pays for it as an investment. The reason they are more efficient is because they cost more, more bang for your buck, this has nothing to do with private sector run businesses. I am sure even if the quality is not top notch but it cost less, more people will pick that school. The reason you go to the school you pick is because of the location you live in, and locations with better schools generally cost more, so ultimately you are paying for the quality of your school, you are not been forced. Guess what? If everybody can do whatever they want without thinking about others, this world would suck much harder than it is now. A selfish attitude is not something that is good for an entire country.

The only reason private school is better is because they cost more, therefore they have the better teachers and more resources etc etc. There is also the fact there are much less private schools than public schools. If private school become the only option, then many more children would be kicked out of school because they cannot afford it. If private schools were forced to compete with lowered cost, then they lose the only advantage they have over public schools, money. What? You really believe businesses can do EVERYTHING better than the government? You do realize the motive difference between the government and businesses right? The motive of businesses to do anything is to make a profit, and point of having a government is to ensure a growing country, businesses are not looking out for everyone, they are looking out for themselves.

The form of government you purpose is extremely inefficient, but that is another point. Are you seriously telling me that paying taxes is not good? You think all the services available to you are not paid by the taxes? Just how do you think roads and school are been built? Also no, public service is not a monopoly. I get these services by paying taxes. Which is like being forced by a company to shop their and only there.. or go to jail. If there was no government then I would be getting the services I want from competing businesses. If they fail they are shutdown so they have to actually succeed to stay in business, unlike the government.. I think I already demonstrated the fact that paying taxes is called obeying the law, there is a difference. Also no, you do not receive these services by paying taxes, you receive these services because EVERYONE pays taxes. There is only so much resources one person can utilize. If everything was run by competing businesses, then we would have a country run by the rich. Monopolies would form because there is no government regulation, environment would be destroyed because there is no government regulation, interest rates on loans would be butt load high, because guess what? There is no government regulation. The services you use every day would be much more expensive because the monopolies charge ridiculous amount of money or guess what? There will be no police, no libraries, no courts, etc etc unless you freaking pay for them. Do you see now why having everything run by competing businesses even in a competitive market is a really bad thing? Enforcing the law, otherwise known as police work/station.

Since when did taxing become stealing? Without the taxes a country is going to be in shambles, no infrastructures can be built, no more government run services such as police/public libraries/firefighters. Stealing is defined to be: the act of taking something from someone unlawfully In other words, taking something away from somebody while breaking a law. For example if the cops have a court order and takes a DNA sample from you, that is not stealing, it is called enforcing the law, and things like taxes become laws because they are justified.

Dunno about the last part, can you prove that? There was a time before BH you know, and everybody survived, this is not an issue. Well to be honest, I would probably perfer some BH worlds merge with the regular worlds than having just BH worlds. Maybe provide some motives for non-pkers to enter these worlds so it will not be just a pkers world, increase exp rate/better drops from monsters/etc?

I thought the point of having the thread is to promote discussion, feedback and information included. Mods should not cenor posts just because they dislike them, they should cenor them if they are spamming/offensive/etc etc, as long as the posts are within the range, I see no problem for somebody to voice his/her dissent.

Is it possible that there will be another update tommorow? Mod Nexus said "That should be it for today update wise." Sounds to me they have something else planned the next day..or week. I am probably just picking at straws and whatnot but today's update looks kind of lame. :|

I don't see how does having 18 bots with EP help RWT, is the guy that kills that requires EP right?
