  1. It sounds to me is everything.
  2. The Route of the problem Link here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2CLZDXEsYg Probably my favorite RS track.
  3. Close one indeed, if I were RE I would call for a rematch outside of the tourney though. The DCs were unforunate.
  4. TPR The Titans or VR but the leaders are Lady Ninane and Laikrob.
  5. Thats actually not that bad, it is probably staff speed but it can dish out some serious melee damage. But it's a staff. Why in the world did Jagex name it a staff, but make it a sword. It might as well be called Sword of Light. I suppose Jagex want mages to be able to hit people in range gear while having the 50% reduction.

  7. Off topic here, but do you think Jagex is not willing to buff the saving rune ability because RCers will be unhappy or to balance between the benefit and the cost? Or some other reason which I cannot think of right now.
  8. This is hilarious, people are already crying on the forum.
  9. The staff's 50% melee damage reduction + the 40% from prayer pretty much cancel out melee damage for one minute. New tanking staff everyone?
  10. Level 93 slayer required... PANIC PEOPLE! IS THE END OF WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! Oh My God Oh My God 50% rune usage, Oh sh-
  11. Text to speech, you mean the words will occur over their head and appear in the textbox?
  12. Sir, god does not approve of puns.
  13. This sounds hilarious, just because I think British accents are hilarious. Do it Jagex!
  14. So your reason for protesting is because 1) Soul wars remove the danger from combat training. 2) They are doing absolutely nothing to obtain experience while you have to actually kill things to get exp. 3) It is cheap since no food is needed. I believe number 1 and number 2 can be merged together, because the thing you are losing when you die is of course money and time. Since gear/food both cost money and time, I think they can be grouped together, so we come down with the two reasons. 1) It is cheap to train in soul wars 2) They do not have to anything at all to get exp but you have to actually fight to receive experience. Number one can be easily ignored because of the fact it is not, it is very very expensive to train in Soul Wars because of opportunity cost. Captainkidd has proved it takes much longer to receive experience using Soul Wars even under optimum/unrealistic exp rate. The players using SW to train are wasting a large amount of time, the time which can be used to make money. So can you see how much they are losing by playing SW? Food/gear is basically money and time, and those two are something the SW players are wasting on. To be honest, the danger in training is nonexistant these days, I can afk at armour zombies and check back every 5 minutes or so to check out my loot. Reason number two can disproved as well. Now if the exp at SW is the similar to actively training, then yes I would have a problem with that, but it is not. You have put in more efffort into training while others put in little. The more effort you put in the better you become, and it holds true in this case. Because of the fact you have put in more effort in playing, you receive more benefit while the ones using SW receive little. I can compare this to training range chinning at Skeleton monkeys and training with bronze knives at yaks. The former is gaining much more amount of exp because they have put in large amount of effort into making the millions required to buy the gear/chins and risk the danger of death. The latter has a much lower exp rate because the effort put in is tiny, there is absolutely no danger training at yaks and the cost is small. The amount of effort you put in is directly proportional to how much you are getting out of it. So why do you still care if others decide to use a much slower way to train? Your account is still better than theirs. Edit:Not proof read, please excuse any grammar error or logical fallacy.
  15. To Gidion I would have said something in retrospective if Quel did not do so already, I would think about what you have stated if I were you.
  16. Chef's delight is way too easy to produce, why can't the merchants just use rares as mints? Third age etc
  17. Guthorm replied to CDC989's topic in Rants
I can make the arguement if I spend more time on my account than your account, why should I not receive an advantage? Honestly if the difference is not extreme, it is not impossible to defeat higher level opponents. Edit: To be honest maybe Jagex does not want the game to be balanced too much, it should be quite simple to just make everybody have the same level while playing the game. I think they have stated that level is a factor, just not as much as in other minigames.
  18. I agree with shadow, seriously as a DK I cannot even outdamage their HoT >.>, prenerf of course, I might be able to take away a few twigs this time, but their damage shield will probably kill me before I get them to 50%.
  19. Guthorm replied to CDC989's topic in Rants
Well, Jagex is obviously not going to try to make lower level lose, is just that higher levels have a better advantage. If you are level 40ish, you should expect to lose a large amount of your matches simply because you are too weak.
  20. I cannot play the game without it, I tried to sell it and buy 95 prayer but after two days without SGS, I have to drastically change my play style. It is worth every cent to me.
  21. Gah, thats what I hate about the name changing feature, clans take advantage of it in a fight. Gratz Exo, I was betting TT to win the thing to be honest, no offense of course. :D
  22. Splitbark armor may be decent, not many people in member use them and f2p magic can be given a small boost.
  23. Y guy play WoW? o.O Also Lich King 10 man is already down....end of an era. I still remember me dragging his [wagon] to the frozen throne to become the Lich King, fond memories.
  24. Inflation would not be a problem if people's income is also inflated, which I believe they are at this case. So what if the item's price is double now? If your pay also doubles, there is no difference.
  25. Don't see the harm they are doing to Runescape, they have to invest much more time aka effort to get the capes and the accounts are useless anyway. I would rather Jagex fix the clan situation than trying to screw over people trying to fool around with their time.
