  1. I feel sorry for you Jadchor! People just doesn't read your post carefull enough. They keep bashing your idea with totally flawed reasons. People, he actually has thought of how to prevent spamming. If you set a time-limit on how often you can "say" the auto-typed message, say to a "cool-down-time" of 8-10 seconds, then you can only be "saying" the message every 8-10 seconds, not like costantly, several times each second! That is what that time-limit he talks about prevent, not create. So W2 and several f2p merchant worlds would NOT be over-spammed with text. What most of you ranting the idea doesn't seems to take into account is that most ppl can actually re-type the same message in less than 8-10 seconds already. So implementing this auto-talker wouldn't make much difference on over-spamming, not much more than those worlds are already over-spammed with text. The best overall benefits of this idea are; - 1) Frequent merchanting players wouldn't be tempted to download a dangerous 3rd party program as that feature would already be in the game. So this would nicely counter-act the need for downloading a 3rd party auto-talker program and risk getting keyloggers which would risk having your account hacked and stolen. This alone would to me seem for Jagex as a very good idea to implent this feature as they don't want ppl to use 3rd party programs and risk their players accounts. It's simply bad for buisness! - 2) This feature would really be a blessing to all of us that sometimes want to sell some stuff in-game as you don't have to re-type the same message over and over again which after only a few minutes gets really annoying and soon irritating too. It makes players not want to go selling stuff in bussy merchanting worlds which is NOT what I think Jagex wants. - 3) This feature would take away the chance of make errors in your selling/buying-message which you tend to make if you stay and re-type buying/selling the same stuff over and over again. This is only 3 good reason for this idea, I think there are more but I can't think of more right now. So please read his (and everyone elses post you out there want to rant and bash) post accurate. I support this idea!
  2. Which are the 7 locations you can direct a portal to in your Portal Chamber room in your house?
  3. From the KB I see this info as that you will want the jade vine to grow "wild", which mean that you don't want to go back and check on it as Horacio says you should and also that you then shouldn't want to pay Horacio to look after it for you? That is how I understand that text from KB, or how do you interpret it? -------------------------------- You can get the body parts as drops from the 8-9 new creatures in the Vine Maze
  4. Well, know that I have given it some more thought, healing 25 for that fish would be sufficient as you say. And it would be great for pk:ing food as you don't like mass-stock-up on it then like when you use food for mass-training combat/slayer or something like that where you need several loads of them. For this monks and such food still be the prefered I think. But all the other ideas are just super. Someone that actually do the work before posting any ideas =D>
  5. My thought was basically that even whatever healing a new food heals it won't be anywhere near the intended impact in the game if it's too hard and a struggle to get the food. But, as you say, there is a limit/border where the hp healed overcomes the struggle to get the food. I don't think that limit/border is 23 and maybe not even 25. So the choise then is to either increase the hp healed or decrease the struggle to get the food. But anyway's this is an amazing idea and I will do my part in keeping this thread and idea alive.
  6. Thanks! The areas for features in the skill that you already have put in there are great. But is that coelachanth (spelling?) really usefull as it's a really long walk/run to it and you have to pass some stats-reducing areas which u might have to use restore pots in to be able to fish those fishes, right? Or am I totaly wrong where that area is? And isn't way far away from a bank/deposit box, so long that it wouldn't be used I mean?
  7. This skill would also be a very good way to put some use in some of the very un-used areas in the rs world. I'm thinking of places like; - The Haunted Mine (does any1 every go there after the mini-quest and the quest in there? - huge area that is not used) - The Fight Arena (the big arena just north of Yanille, just only for 1 quest, then it's never visited again and the area is big) - Drogesh-Kaan (the big city was visited the first weeks after it was released and now it's deserted by most players) Those are 3 big areas that I think needs to be revitalized and to put some of those digging spots in those areas would make players wanna visit them. What do you think about that suggestion?
  8. I support this too! Brilliant idea and very vary skill as you have to and can use several other skills to it and from it. And you have really thought out of the box, like the idea with the herb pots. I would really love to see it as a skill. But the 30 sec respawn time isn't really ideal I think if you want to powertrain or train the skill for leveling. Sorry to say it but most players don't have the patience to wait for that "long" for a thing to respawn when they train a skill for levels. Most skills that you train for levels have quick respawns, sandstone/granite for mining, willow/maples for woddcutting, red chinchompas for hunter and so on. All of those respawns fast and are therefor used for training a skill for levels. What would be the corresponding way to train this skill for leveling, like heavy leveling? Waiting for 30 sec every time when leveling a skill above like lvl 70 isn't not really optimal I think due to most players poor and low patience. Thats, the only problem I see with this idea. But put me up on the support list and I will use the "Support the Archelogy skill" sig too.
  9. That about not needing a Seal of Passage to bank on Lunar Isle is only for banking with that special bankman Jack-something, or? Or does the not have to have the seal goes for all bank tellers in the Lunar Isle bank ? And if you get 900+ xp per run at the new ZMI altar it's as good or not better than w66 law crafting since that has become much slower now due to the themed world release which makes more newbish players go there that doesn't really know what to do there and that there are much more leechers there now, which all slows down the speed of that method. Or isn't so now?
  10. I asked the same question about cooking gloves and monkfishes; http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=693943&highlight=
  11. Ok, should I interpet that like that I can just wield the Rat Pole and have my cat catching rats and when the cat catches one it will end up on my pole? I don't have to go to the rat pits mini-game to get rats on my rat pole as I understood it from what I red about the pole ?!
  12. I'm doing the Medium task on the new Varrock Achiviement Diary and one of those tasks is to get a Rat Pole full of rats. I've got the Rat Pole as I've done the Rat Catcher quest and now I just want to know how to get rats on it for the ad task? I red that the Rat Pole is used in the quest and also in the Rat Pits mini-game, but how do I get rats on the rat pole doing that mini-game? Doesn't say in any mini-game guide on the mini-game who this is achieved! Or can I just take my cat along and catch rats anywhere while wielding my rat pole and the rats my cat catches get on the pole?
  13. Ok, just the help I wanted, so thanks, really!
  14. When du you stop burning Monkfishes when you cook? Has the Cooking Gloves any effect on when you stop burning Monkfishes or is the effect from the gloves only on Lobsters, Swordfishes and Sharks?
  15. Can use lit another players POH burners? As i have seen the owner of the house has to lit the burners and because u can't and then u can use the bones with the altar. It doesn't matter which kind of burners that are lit, the best and the worst gives the same bonus, + 50 % per burner lit. And then add the bonus for the altar which differs on what kind it is - as said, the gilded is the best - to see the total bonus you get. I think it's up to + 350 % with 2 burners lit and use the bones on a gilded altar. If you have a nice friend let him stay in the house as when the last player leaves the house the burners stops to burn and u have to lit them again with 1 marrentill per burner. But if you have a friend stay at the house you can, in theory, use your bones and still tele to egde and teletablet back for a second load of bones to use on the altar. So in theory u could use 2 load of bones per 2 marrentill if you have someone stay in the house so the burners don't stop burning each time u leave the house. The ectofunct gives + 400 % Prayer XP per bone but it takes more than 2 times the time compared to using a gilded altar with lit burners, if not longer. And yes, Dragon Bones cost much more than they used to, as I have bought some myself just 5 days ago, and they are 2,0k - 2,2k each now. So keep that in mind. Also look out for d bones scammes whom say they sell d bones but puts up big bones in the trade screen.
  16. Ok, thanks anyway for the quick response. I've posted a subject on the matter about selling my red chins in the forums and then I then think I just have to wait for someone to be willing to buy them. If anyone else has any suggestions about good places (banks and worlds) to sell Red Chins at I would be more than glad!
  17. Hi! I want to sell quite a big amount of Red Chinchompas but I can't seem to figure out any good places (banks) to sell them at? Are there any like especially good places to sell them at?
  18. Well, full Guthan's should then be extreme risk/wealthy playerstyle as it is quite expensive and if you get much lag or the game crashes or your computer suddenly without warning restarts (which my comp do sometimes) I'd loose some of that gear. I only considered 3 playerstyles and I didn't put in doing Barrows in full Guthan's becasue it is/was to expensive of a method/playerstyle for me. My guide is just for like beginners and to give them a fair view of what they need to wear+backpack in contrast to how wealthy they are and how much of a risk (as to risk loosing stuff due to lag, comp restart, game crashes and such)) bringing to Barrows. I assume most Barrows beginners don't have full Guthan's or want to bring and risk it at Barrows. But as ppl have said, there are loads of Barrows Guides out there and mine is aimed at beginners and giving them a fair idea of what they can wear and have in their inventory when starting Barrows. It would be foolish of me to write a comprehensive Barrows guide as there are tons of them out there and there are ppl with loads of more experiense of Barrows than me that have written such guides. So this guide doesn't aim for that at all.
  19. As I said before, very nice guide! I see that you have added the new easy way to Burthrope and Shilo assignments with the new Achievment Diary gloves 3 which I use all the time now.
  20. I think you can manage to high-alch 19 or 20 items a minute so you can do the math from that.
  21. Image taken from tip.it and edited If it helps I think I've found the spot in the picture above in the map of the dungeon posted. I've marked the spot with a red circle. I think it's the same spot that mpg321 showed in his pic. But if it's not just correct me. Just thought that showing in the dungeon-map pic where it was could help you.
  22. Ok, so as a law crafter in world 99 u just give away the 27 laws and not 27 noted p ess also along with the laws, as u do in world 66? Am I getting it right now?
  23. My question is about the difference between world 66 and world 99. World 66 is ess-back-world and World 99 is no-ess-back-world. Who is the one not getting ess back in world 99, is it the runner who don't get 27 noted p ess back just the 27 law runes or is it somehow the crafter whom doesn't get ess back? I think it's the runner who just get the 27 laws in reward and trade back 27 unnoted p ess to the crafter in the trade, or is that totaly wrong?
  24. If am a part of such a clan or group? No, I just gotten tired of running back and forth to the abyss dodging pk:ers all day and wanted to know how the world 66 and 99 law crafting/running buisness works. Now I know and I've gotten it to work very well.
  25. Ok! I've been there at world 66 and there are loads of ppl not wearing the stuff needed for the FFL and the other rules they have set up at the offical forum page that they have, as I've checked that out to but it seems kind off complicated to me. I just want to know what I have to have in my inventory and what I should say to get ppl to trade me and what to trade and what I pay the ppl that are running?!
