Bah, those links need me to log in and it won't accept my forum password/user. We had one "big buff" a few weeks ago, after that it's been small, un-noticeble tweaks. Pacts got fixed, Dark Mediation got giving a spell animation instead of a stun, the spell animation is the same as one of the spells a PoM has though I think, either way it doesn't change anything unless you can interupt it once your mana is filled (if so then ya, that's handy for raids!) Up-coming patch looks disapointing for PvE players. And there's a huge memory leak or FPS eater in kheshatta. Was farming in epic khes yesterday, my FPS would be at 40-50 (normal) and over time it'd slowly go down, boss fights would take 10fps off at a time, till it got down to 3fps. Everyone in my group was suffering this problem. Seems to be cos of the updates there, which are nice updates, but they're causing major FPS problems.

Probally months, RS only uses 3kbs of memory.

They've been getitng buffed every patch basically, they hardly suck. -.- To the grey quests yes, they no longer give you experience - Though I have a hard time understanding what this prevents, or does besides pissing people off, on a large or a small scale. They've had one patch where they had a buff, lol.

To add someone: /cc addbuddy Charactername As for Demo's sucking, do they hell. Once you get some experience with them and learn how to play them, they're fine. Not as bad as people make them out to be.

Only Virgin Media use fibre optic atm, though I heard Sky are testing it seeing as they want a piece of VM's cake. Though, Peter has a point, you can get really dire speeds of VM depending where you are, and their ADSL is a disgrace. I've never had a problem with their internet service, ever. Their CS can be abit dodgy at times, though that's only when we rang up about the TV and phone. The TV isn't amazing either, rarely ever get the TV info and it's really laggy at times.

EA have nothing to do with the 360 version of the game.

Nah dude, seriously. I was thinking the same (apart from the PvP). I thought there would be plenty to do as there was a couple of instances to farm, onyx is public, crazy fast spawns (by the time you clear your way to a boss, when you go back you have to clear your way back). Atzels needs a good team of 80 to clear, Scorpion Caves is ok.. But they all get boring after a while. Apart from the PvP which I know you find fun, atm there's nothing for a PvE player to do. Trying to get into a guild thats raiding atm. I'm praying there's something for PvE players in tomorows patch.

a) No, it doesn't. A 2mb cable connection should be between 200/300kB/s, not 200/300kb/s. B) All of the major ones (Virgin, BT, Tiscali, TalkTalk, Eclipse, o2, Orange) do this so they can advertise higher bandwidth packages for less money. c) Yes, because Virgin is dire. c) i. If you have the money, and if you can get them in your area, UKFSN or Be. c) ii. They'll continue to do the same regardless of how much you pay them. VM are the best ISP in the UK mate. All the other ISPs have a fair usage policy which is even worse, VM don't. I'm on the 20mb line, and so is Peter (pure_mageuk) and simple fact is, in the best 2 years, we could together count the problems we've had with VM on 1 hand. I know people on Bethere, o2, orange, BT, tiscali and that dire internet that talktalk deliver, some have more problems than others, but orange and BT are the worst, tiscali isn't amazing either. I'd reccomend you don't switch, but, if you do, move to o2 (o2 own bethere) as they seem to be the second best ISP at the moment. Please.. Seriously, get your facts before dissing the ISP, yes, sure, their traffic shaping sucks, but they're the best ISP in the country at the moment in terms of stability, offering their advertised speeds (I never get below 19mbps, and I know no one on the same line that doesn't) and how quick they can get things sorted. You can, if you can afford it, jump to the 20mb line, which gives you 3gb of downloading space between peak times (4pm-12am, and your internet "nerf" will only last till midnight.. I don't belive any other company does that in the UK). And usually, with the 20mb line (2mbs-2.5mbs) you can download all the stuff you want in 2 hours, that 1.5gb file in 10 mins or so assuming the server you're downloading from isn't dire.

Thanks for that Atzel guide, it'll help. Was doing Atzel's there, only managed 4 bosses, we were using a DPS DT for a tank.. He did pretty good actually. Would really love to clear that place, I hear some nice cloth drops there.

Mount combat is a disapointment, you can't run and attack on a mount (only with melee.. and the damage isn't amazing), and to cast spells on a mount they have to be directly in front of you.

That in no way doesn't mean they can't add them. VALVe are smart enough to know they can do in-game achievements.

Pretty sure they haven't, and they can always do in-game achievements (like CoD4). There's no reason why they couldn't do it.

I *gasp* do enjoy questing in this game, which is unlike me. They just seem.. intresting, usually. Wish there was more though, my Shammy would be 60+ by now if there was more Q's, just cba going through it all again atm.

Was meaning to on my Shammy.. But I hate moving to another region when I still have quests there, and by the time I was done in conalls and wild lands I was just way too high for it. I do like Onyx, even with the rather speedy respawns and public instance, it's set out nice. Same with Sanctum, Scorp Caves is also well done, the nests are crazy. Caravan Raider Hideout has 5 bosses and a mob patrol of about 3 or 4 mobs, lol.

I never said it was a bad review, but it was a well thought out review, just IMO, you can't base reviews off a few things you've done on a 70 ToS, I have a 80 demo, and a 45 shammy, I've done all instances apart from Black Castle and Pyramids several times, and they are all good fun, even though everything is tank and spank in AoC. Hell, even farming bosses in epic kheshatta is fun. And yes I agree with a review being on the current game, not on what's going to be added, but the game's un-finished, hence why I'm not giving it up on it yet, or writing my own review up on it yet.

Umm... Sorry dude but at 35 you're not even half way through the game, you can't make a review on that. There's (dungeons) Sanctum, Cistern & Main System, The Oynx Chambers, The Scorpion Caves, Caravan Raiders Hideout, Toirdealbach's Tomb, and the one you were talking about, Black Castle, which IMO, is the worst, there maybe a few others I'm forgetting. (Not including raid instances.) You still have crafting to experience, the higher level zones, higher level quests and grouping, and ofc instances, and they still have alot of stuff they are adding. Yes, some dungeons are public, but they work like that, annoying as it is, they work, because of the way they're set out. IMO, the quests 1-45 a great, there's plenty, 45-50 you run low on them, 50-60 is a grind because of a lack of quests, early 60's is ok, but late 60's, a grind, 70-74, quests, 74-80, ALL grind which maybe 1-2 levels worth of quests, but they're all group quests. The dungeons, they need abit of tweaking, eg, spawns being removed. Atzels Fortress has spawns, and it sucks because Atzel, the main boss, is extremely hard unless you kill all the named mobs in the dungeon, and you guessed it, they respawn. All I wish for them to add so far is the promised PvP update (even though I don't care for it, I want them to actually live up to there words) and end-game content, then they can smooth out the leveling, because it isn't as bad as it seems.

I know people love PvP in RPG's.. But IMO, if I wanted to PvP I'd go play TF2. I don't want to get ganked because some idiot who declined my group invite thought it'd be cool to gank me because he didn't want to share the boss.

I'm in The Covenant on Dagon EU... Around 320 unique members at the moment. As for bags, the cheapest holds 8 slots I think and is about 50c. I'm loving Bear Shaman atm, level 42 on mine, it's rather hard in tortage but when you hit 25+ it's really easy as your HoT's out heal the mobs DPS most of the time. Giving me something to do while my guild gets more level 80's so we can raid, my 80 is only useful for farming cash atm..

Does the card have a fan? If so, download Riva Tuner and turn the fan speed up to 100%. Btw, what card is it?

Just dinged 79.... Now for the grind to 80. Done most the quests in The Onyx Chambers. Got a few in Atzels Fortress but hard to find a group for that place. Trying to find a group to grind with atm. 3262700 XP (I think) from 79-80. Should be fun.

You need a cooler. Should run about 55c.
