Been playing the 360 demo today, decrypting the PC demo atm. It was alot of fun, best game I've played this year by far, and I'd go as far as the best I've ever played. The AI Director really does make every play through a unique experience. Though, with that said, I'm starting to know where weapons could spawn, which takes away some of the uniqueness. Eitherway, can't wait to play Death Toll, sounded like it had some cool chapters.

Wasn't impressed by it to say the least, from a distance, took way too many shots to kill people (and I'm not saying accross them map, I was a building or two away, and my aiming is fine.) and the a to b stuff got abit tedious with the stops on the way due to guard posts, trucks with turrets on the back driving about etc. Any one played the multiplayer? Is that any fun? Eitherway, roll on November 18th.

Choosing 2 of the same screens would be best, it'd make sure they both are at the same level side by side. Also.. Make sure what kind of cables the monitors come with, if it's VGA only, you'll want a VGA to DVI adapter so they'll plug into your graphics card.

The CPU and motherboard aren't compatible. You want to be looking for a AM2 (939?) supported mobo for that AMD chip, or grab a intel CPU.

Doesn't comcast have a "speed boost" thing that only lasts for a few seconds? If so.. is that your real speed that you get 24/7?

I have the Deathadder. Good all round mouse, can't say there's anything wrong with it apart from the MOUSE1 and MOUSE2 (right and left click) make quite a noticble *click* noise when pressed.

True true. Would like the quest exp to scale better though. Will have to get on and do abit of PQ's and stuff later.

Haven't played this for a few days actually. Leveling is meh. I want it to be faster. Should try get back into it cause I would love to see some of the end-game pvp, pve and Marauder skills. Hmm...

See the tiny button on top of the controller and next the memory card slots on the 360? Press both of them at the same time while the controller is trying to connect to the Xbox 360. The controller might be still in sync with the other 360's you've used. Also, nothing wrong with a 360 sloter.

Orcs look sick. But ya, I'm not a fan of PvP in MMORPG's, because it's usually badly implented, but I quite like WAR's RvR, weirdly enough. Nice to have a break from questing/PQ's once in a while. Was abit hesitant about buying WAR but I needed something to pass the time, not regretting purchasing at all, very good MMO considering it's a week or so old. Only thing I dislike is the exp doesn't scale nicely, makes leveling kinda slow IMO. And the queues.. Argh! I was in an hour queue earlier :|

The games fun so far.. But there's something about leveling that just doesn't make it.. fun around t2.. It's just too slow if you ask me. EXP rewards need a buff IMO. Not so much you'll skip all the content you want to see, but enough so you don't have to repeat it more than once or twice. I did a PQ about 12 times earlier, just got 1 level, no loot at all from it, a blue chest piece dropped but a tard ninja'd it and then left the party :\ I'm kinda skipping stuff atm, because it's not that fun, and PQ's aren't amazing exp, scenarios are ok and pretty fun if you can get in one. I gained 2 levels today, I gained 11 in 2 days earlier, because it was fun and new, but now it's feeling abit "Ugh, I cba doing "kill X/X" or "scout XXXXX" for the 10th time". And I've only heard not so good things about leveling at the 20+ regions. Hmmm... I hope Mythic can improve it in some way.

Sounds good. But yea, lack of players atm in T2 too, I haven't done any PQ's yet in T2, getting some levels first (12 atm) and I need a helm badly. Can't wait to get in t3 and t4, I hear they're alot of fun. Been doing abit of RvR in Nordlands lately, sneaking up behind the players, and when friendlys run in I'll go round the back of them and take the clothies out in seconds. Scenarios are pretty fun too, been having fun in them, always finishing 1st on DPS list, which is nice. I just run up and spam AoE on them, alot of fun, and alot more fun than I had in AoC, so much more to do.

Got it yesterday. Level 10 so far, not far of 11, but my game crashed and now I'm in a 400 person queue, lol. Rolled a Marauder, pretty fun class, combat is abit buggy every so often though. I love PQ's, great idea if you ask me, some are abit boring and some bosses are abit.. over powered (one boss rooted me, and then 1 hit me :|). Overall I'd say it's a good game, plenty to do so far, the leveling can be pretty slow, but there's lots to do, so I'm not rushing through.

It's going to be good, it's going to be what GTA IV should of been. But it's not going to change gaming, I think you're over-hyping this game a tad too much. Alot of the features you noted with in GTA:SA. Oh wow, it has some 3d arcade game you play in the game, I don't care if I'm honest, I'm not buying the game for that. It has alot of cool little mini-games (like flashing, drive bys, etc etc) yea, but nothing truely amazing. I will enjoy the co-op alot though, really wish GTA had that. As for GTAIV, it's a great game on it's own, very well made, very well thought out (belive it or not) and has great gameplay and the online is pretty good. But it's not a real GTA, GTA's are about blowing crap up, killing people with chainsaws, crazy stunts and just damn right crazy stuff, the realistic route with Rockstar took wasn't really what the fans were looking for. SR2 is going to have alot of the features old GTA's had, but I'm not hyped over it like I was with GTAIV (Was slightly disapointed with the result, but I still find it fun online). But never the less, roll on release day, should keep me occupied till one of the most expensive months in gaming this year, November!

I'm sure I read somewhere that SA-MP team wouldn't move to GTA IV. I'd be sad if they didn't though, I may purchase this on PC just for the mods. The online on GTA IV PC is said to be "extended" or upgraded, to some extent.

Same, no big deal, took me 4-5 mins to download. Just a shame, it looks pretty decent for a free FPS. Hopefully they'll release a EU version soon so I can test it out.

Yea (apparently) according to the devs Canada is in North America and can play.

Well that was a waste of time. Downloaded the game, created an account etc after hearing it's playable in the EU. Attempted to log in, error, can't. I google the error code.. Game's only available to people in the US, South America, and Australia. So if you're not in any of those countrys, out of luck :|

Hellgate was F2P, the P2P side allowed you to play the expansions (EG: Stonehenge and the unreleased "The Abyss Chronicles" which I doubt will ever be released :( ) But recentely Flagship have went down hill, and therefore the payment system is down, and no one can sub, or un-sub, the subs don't pay anymore ,but they get access to the p2p areas, but the f2p don't.

Yea, I'm not keen on Aions fantasy style, I prefer WoW/WAR's look if I'm honest, though I'd rather not start a MMO that's already out. WAR looks more PvP, Aion is a mix of both, I hear they already have 30 raid boss encounters in the game. It does look quite fun though, the flying combat, the amazing graphics, and the PvP actually looks fun, and I'm a "If I want PvP I'll play a FPS" guy.

Aion is p2p, and is said to be a Korean MMO with EU/US gameplay (eg: you have a choice between grinding or questing, as they both give the same xp/hour).

Cancelled my sub too. In the 3 months the games been out they've fixed none of the important stuff, and not given any of the 80 players something to do. AoC can go die in a fire for all I care, I'd rather play a korean MMO, which I will be in 2009 when Aion comes out.

That's my raid outfit. Raid gear has heroic stats with is very very helpful in raids.
