  1. I knew him, pretty well actually. When he left he gave me two Rune Longswords which were old-school SODB drops that he'd hung on to. I still have them :] Unfortunately I believe he's gone for good, haven't seen him on in at least two years... If you want to post your RSN I'd be happy to tell him you're looking if I ever catch him online.
  2. Complete fail. Alright, say you manage to reach the base. How do you plan on stealing a well guarded helicopter? Do you even know how to operate one? Dunno what good there is posting five pages later. But I'd get into the base with my grandpa's clearance seeing how he's a Colonel in the army. And yes I actually do know how to fly.
  3. Step 1: Drive to nearest military base (1 hour from my house so I'm lucky) Step 2: Steal Apache battle helicopter. Step 3: Improvise.
  4. Mhmm I was actually surprised I did good in Magic, just tried it for the hell of it haha. I'll give you a few tips about the Agility performance in-game.
  5. Yeah I left for about a year, now I'm semi-retired but I am back and working on a few goals. My blog is back up in Blogscape if you wanna go see. sick of flamers? who flaming :L nice one oreo and welcome back (L) Nobody's flaming. I asked people to rate honestly, so thats why theres some low ones.
  6. Wtf. Everyone always says to do the Agility performance in the Circus to get Ringmaster, and that Magic is hard and pointless. I tried for the third week today, Acrobat bottoms from Ranging, Clown top from Agility (scored 1038, failed Backflip twice). Then I tried Magic for the first time, Alching and Teleing the lvl 99 Anvil. Failed Alching once but still got Ringmaster hat hahahaaha Its so cute.
  7. I'm going to assume you're aiming for fast xp as your post says. If you want different advice just say so, I have 99 Fishing so I can help you out a lot. Thanks, I assume the money is also better? Raw lobbies are 373gp each and raw swordies are 542gp each. There's a 169gp difference, and considering you get lobbies 100% of the time, I'd say they're better in terms of money. And it's the same principle for why caging is also better for experience: constant good experience rather than a chance at getting higher swordy experience, but ending up with more of the low tuna experience. Pretty much the same as these guys said. Swordfish and Tuna are more of a gamble, since you'll always catch both types of fish regardless of level you always risk different amounts of xp. You could get a lot of xp per hour if you catch more Swordfish, or a lower amount per hour if you catch more Tuna. For fast steady xp I'd definitely go with Lobsters.
  8. Thanks guys. I haven't started on my goals yet, been spending most of my time rebuilding my bank with stuff like Runes, tools, and other kinds of equipment I dropped or sold when I retired. I'll probably start with Mining cuz I'm not ready to jump into another 99 yet....
  9. I've been retired since last September and only just came back a month ago so I'm not familiar with this. Anything you can tell me? Or got any links?
  10. I'm level 79, planning on going all the way to the Skillcape. I've done my fare share of Woodcutting off course but I could still do with some good advice. I want to get 99 in the shortest amount of time, with the fastest xp. Some profit would be nice too, but its not necessarily essential. I've heard cutting/dropping Teaks on Ape Atoll is very fast xp, and that Willows or Maples are also fast plus they will make me money. I'm pretty much asking for tips, suggestions, spots, links to guides, your previous method (if you have 99 or somethin), anything at all that could help me. Thanks.
  11. Thanks. I waited a while with Toast and Sheyy for more people to log on but you didn't :/
  12. Yep. I'm not expecting the highest rates, I know most people around here think Cooking is the easiest Skillcape and I agree with you, it is, but I got it anyways and I'm damn proud. Mostly got this level out of boredom, a bet, and a large cashpile I wanted to reduce. Did Lobsters from 80-94, then Sharks to 99. Raising kittens and selling them to the Civilian in Ardougne helped cover a little chunk of the cost, and I'm keeping the last kitty which grew up just as I hit 13M xp. I did 97-99 in the same day, achieving 99 around 3:45 AM. Luckily Sheyy and Toast, two of my best friends, were on at the time and they joined me. I gave the 99 Shark to Toast, who proceeded to toast me and eat it so its gone. Bought a Dragon Axe before I logged off, gonna start on 99 Woodcutting tomorrow. For those of you who have been asking, I am not planning to bring back my Blog, but if you wanna talk or say anything I can always be found in the current Blogscape chat, FSC (Codguy's). Getting the level Emote Rate honestly.
  13. Sounds like the Grip is pretty pointless. I'll just try it with and without Steady Aim then a few other combos to see what I like, thanks guys.
  14. I know my way around COD4 pretty well... gold Dragunov, red MP5, red M4 Carbine and M16, so on. Anyways theres a few things I haven't gotten into yet such as Shotguns. I'm starting to experiment with guns I haven't used before and have a few questions about making a good Shotgun class. So I gotta know: Which makes a Shotgun (specifically the W1200) more accurate, a Grip or the Steady Aim perk? and... I dunno how to really word this one. If I use a Grip and Steady Aim, is there a noticeable difference as opposed to just using one or the other?
  15. I did Fly Fishing as part of my way to getting 99 Fishing. Its nowhere near 200k/hour, but its still good, fast xp mostly depending on how high your Fishing level is. Around level 75 or so I was able to do about 60-80k an hour depending on moving spots, random events, etc.
  16. Go camp by the Runite rocks in the Heroes Guild and pm me when they spawn. Just kidding, but seriously 1k alchs won't take more than an hour or so. Just go to the Duel Arena or Edgeville like a few others have said and watch the fights. You can even watch a movie or somethin and click away, just check out of the corner of your eye for random events.
  17. That would probably do the trick. Thanks.
  18. Ok, I quit permanently a few months back, sold everything I could and dropped everything else. Now I just got a month of membership out of boredom. I need to know how to get the Dramen Staff (the staff that lets you use the Fairy Rings) back. I've completed the Lost City quest but haven't completed Lunar Diplomacy. I have no quest items at all, just money and a few outfit items. So how do I get another Dramen Staff?
  19. Harry rules. Twilight sucks.
  20. African White Rhino. Some fool tries to threaten you with an attack dog and you bring out a damn rhino, whats he gonna do?
  21. I've never been in an actual accident. One time I did side swipe a pole in a parkin structure. I was backing out of a space and turned too early, and boom, nice dent in my left fender. Funny thing is I'd been drinking the previous night, so it was technically hungover driving.
