If it makes you feel better that dropped (along with the spell dps dagger) and both got DE-ed in my group :P I just died a little inside. Here's one you guys will appreciate. I have a good rl friend that plays on my server, he doesn't play a lot anymore though, he was big when Naxx (WoTLK, not Vanilla) was end-game. I've always kind of hated him because he found our dear friend, the Time-Lost Proto Drake, accidentally while on his way to turn in a quest. He was a fresh 80 at the time. Today I saw him and brought it up, and to add insult to injury he mentions that he didn't know it dropped a mount when he killed it. -.-

The Lich King dropped two of the Halion, Staff of Forgotten Love (Yes, a double drop. It is possible.) and I lost both rolls to the Boomkin and the Disc Priest in my guild. Its the only item I need off him and the only item that will allow me to completely out-gear 10 man regular ICC. I bet I'll never see it drop again... /end rant

Exactly, this is easy stuff I don't understand how it can be so hard for some people. I tell melee DPS not to AoE on Saurfang, then I see Consecrate and Death and Decay up mid-fight. Its damn annoying... And the funny thing, on my server, the hardcore raiders are the ones who call it easy haha

Move out of slime and fire. Stand at the designated stack spot. Move to this spot if you have the debuff. Spread the fire away from the group. Stop DPS means to STOP THE DAMN DPS, not finish your rotation then stop. Make sure you are spread out from other people. Do not stand in front of the boss, some of them do this thing called a cleave. It WILL kill you. Do not stand in the giant red spot when it appears. Heal the person with the debuff. Switch to the adds. Do not attack that add. Do not AoE when you're not supposed to. Do not pull aggro, you might think you're cool with big numbers but are you cool when the boss punts you across the room? Dispell the debuff when you are supposed to. Taunt when you are supposed to taunt, not 10 seconds later. Bring enough Reagents to last for the whole raid; its a battle not a picnic. Do not hit Yes on the Ready Check unless you are ready for the pull. Learn to read, DBM tells you everything that is happening in big blue letters. Know your class. Certain classes excel, or are almost required, to complete specific encounters. Know when this applies to you, and what to do. Finally, if you go to the raid, know the fights... for Christ's sake. The last thing anyone wants to hear in Vent mid-fight is "What do I do?" These are simple instructions, at most during any encounter only two or three of them will apply... and yet it amazes me how many people can screw up such basic mechanics. Its as if though their brains cannot grasp the concept of something so easy. Does anyone else have to deal with this kind of stupidity on a regular basis? : /

Clue Scrolls
I'd always do them as soon as I got them, I kept Teleport Tabs on me specifically for that. The way I saw it was, by keeping one and killing more monsters I was missing out on more potential scrolls. I remember an afternoon where I got one, did it, went back, killed two more things and got another one.

Private chat?
Yeah and it became a flame war that spewed heartless and thoughtless insults from both sides. Not again please. Do you mean this thread? It was actually a pretty interesting thread, but sadly after I found it and posted only one other person posted their thoughts then it died. I was actually kind of interested to read the author's response. But anyways, Friends.

Lying on the internet is easy. Jagex thinks I'm 24 because I told them I was 18 when I made my account at 14 years old. Here's the funny part, I just turned 20.

The 24-hour maintenance had to sync up perfectly in the middle of the three days my girlfriend is out of town, perfect... How'd everyone spend their day away from WoW?

Stickin' to my Undead Mage, my one and only 80. Already in the top 10 for my server, gonna try to push into the top 5 before Cataclysm and then rush to de-throne the number 1 Mage. And maybe get around to leveling my 39 Resto Shaman finally... x.X

(yes I'm about to double post, sue me) So today was my birthday, I get home after being out all day I get home and go check the AH like always. Lo and behold what do I see, 20 Crusader Orbs on the Ah for 29g 50s each? I pounced on that like a cheetah on a small child (for those who forgot, Crusader Orbs sell for 90-110g easily). The guy whispers me an hour later begging for the Orbs back... I guess he got my name from the AH letter that he got with the gold. Apparently he made a typo setting up the auctions, and meant to type in 129g instead of 29g. Sucks for him, nice 1700g profit for me reselling them. Happy birthday to me... Lesson: Double check your Auctions, you never know when a jerk like me is waiting.

Yeah GDKP's are only on 25 man. The way it works is, when a boss is killed the Master Looter takes all the loot, and there's the hour and a half time where the loot can be traded. People will bid on these items and to the winner goes the spoils. Usually there's a gold check to get in, in the case of the one I mentioned it was 15,000g to get in. Some things have set prices too. Not loot, but Sanctification Marks in ICC always have the bidding start at 3000, and the bids for Trophies in ToC starts at 1000.

Not at all. One of my good friends plays on Spinebreaker and I can talk to him now since I play on Boulderfist. But if someone here asks me to be a Real ID friend with them... I think not!

it's not like runescape where you can add someone across servers. Will be able to soon enough. still not sure how i feel about giving someone my real full name Explain? Blizzard is soon releasing what is called Real Friend ID Feature. This will be a feature that allows two Battle.Net accounts to confirm each other as actual real friends, not just friends via game. It will be very similar to the Recruit-A-Friend Feature in WoW where you must enter the name, address, e-mail and other such information of the person you are trying to add as a Real Friend. Once this is done, you and this friend can enjoy cross-faction, cross-server, or even cross-game communication as long as you are both on your Battle.Net account. Like if I play on Boulderfist and my buddy plays on Spinebreaker, I can talk to him... or I can talk to my friends who play on Boulderfist Alliance. Or I could even talk to a friend playing Starcraft while I'm playing WoW, get it?

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Boulderfist&cn=J%C3%A4far /flex 5923 GS (was 5997 but switched from Nibelung to Abracadaver for the Haste and Intellect), should have Lich King down within the next week, my guild's 10 man core group is currently one-shotting 10/12 and we've had LK to 36% so it should be soon, maybe even this week.
