Grade inflation. It never used to be like this. My parents and also teachers I've had always talk about how that's going on - A's used to mean something back then. Nowadays tons of classes are 50% homework, which of course you just get credit for turning in or not. Then some tests/quizes where you have to pick the right vocab word out of four choices. My freshman year things were that bad. Once teachers stop giving you grades for turning in homework and force you to actually learn outside of the narrow field they teach in class, you see grades spread out more. Homework is worth 10% MOST at my school

Good lord. I tried that book and it nearly killed me. Are you enjoying it? The small bit of it I read was very interesting but way too difficult for me. Does it get any better or should I just forget about it? Oh good lord, i remember having to translate that back when I did ancient greek (don't ask). I found it sleep inducingly dull. Great, I'm reading that book later this year :x We read the entore book for class, I did not understand a word basically, except for the Polyphemus chapter :) Which didnt help on the 90 question "scantron" test....our teacher said it was scantron....NOPE....90 short answer

Nope. I hate to sterotype, but Runescape is played by nerds, and nerds are smart, no offence. No, you don't understand. At my high school, the highest averages you ever saw were ~95, and that was ridiculously high. Maybe there's a difference between Canadian/American/European school systems, because around here (Ontario), if you get anything over a 90, you're pretty much guaranteed huge entrance scholarships to any post-secondary institution. At my school, its one of the top schools in the state if Illinois, so if you dont do well they kick you out at the end of the semester, just having being accepted here is a HUGE accomplishment(anong with being able to pay a $10,000a year price)

Or maybe we're smart :P ...Not everyone here has posted extremely high marks......my mom actually got mad over a 3.83......and btw my school is a few grade levels ahead of the norm....private schools ftw

The reason it works with mentos is that there are microscopic holes in it hat help it to build up energy, so unless they have these holes, they are really impossible to work.

The standard grading scale is out of 4 so isnt that impossible :?

Not really....fletching is easy to train if you already have the supplies

We get progress reports every month, with Quarter grades every 2 months, and semester grades every 4 months :)

Have you gotten your progress report yet? Or is that jus becuase you havent gotten any grades yet :shock: Not accusing tho :)

Ive heard 250/1 For Bronze 200/1 For Iron 150/1 For Steel I got these #s from a friend, not idea if they are true at all Also, most drops are completely random :P

[Me] The last few days have been very tough on my mind, and I don't ever intend to repeat them. Instead I had to make a decision, if not for the better then at least to lift my burden. I have been given a lot of time to consider the state of things not in Runescape, but rather outside of it. Friends have called me, family has worried about me, everyone wants me to move on, and I've turned my back on them for many months, because I thought I was reaching for something greater, something I WANTED, ie, rank 1 position in Runescape and everything that goes along with filling Zezima's shoes. But is this what I really want? I had to pace back and forth for hours, I had to walk around the neighborhood, I had to sit down with friends who have lived with me for years, in order to come up with an answer. No. It isn't what I really want, not anymore, anyway. The moment I doubted my very reasons for playing was the moment I saw my now-lofty goals come tumbling down. Thus comes my decision--I won't renew my membership after October. I must quit while I'm ahead, before I slowly play myself into a permanently scarred mental state. Things simply have to move on, and I've lost sight of the very reason I began Runescape in the first place--to win glory and self-satisfaction by piecing together the perfect character. Skill total was all I ever cared for, and I fooled myself into thinking I was fit for bigger and better collections and completions but my very nature plays contrary to that. I can't ignore it now; instead I must accept it. My problem is that I do not wake up on time, even with an alarm, I set it for 5:50, and I dont wake up til about 6:20-6:30, and I have to leave for the bus at 6:50 :wall:

Im a freshman, at a private school so theyre all ready preparing us for the SATs as a Junior, with practive SAT tests, apparently 16/16 is good :-w , I will most likley go to UIC (University of Chicago), cant afford anywhere over $10,000 a year really.

These forums are well organized to mature players AND the mods :D , the official forums have a lack of mod-presence in the non-vacation season, My moderator friend only signs on rarely over the period over half a year. :notalk:

Happens to me, My mouse was messed up, try checking that (it was an optical mouse) mebe humidity caused it to stick and press donw :P
