Yeah, you have to be really really fast about it. I died the first time I did fight caves when I made it to Jad (for now the only time) but I know a good little tip. Face Jad head on and have your camera pointing squarely towards him - Have it lowered to the ground as much as possible. Now watch his legs. He raises them a little higher for the ranged attack. Have your mouse hovering over the next prayer (we'll say you're on protect from mage) and you're hovering over protect from range. If his legs dissapear from your screen, immediately click on the range prayer. (Then attack him again) and hover over mage prayer. If he goes up and his legs are in sight a millisecond after raising them, he will be doing his mage attack. Also, his range attack makes no sound, and his mage attack sounds like an explosion. (There's a good guide in the Archive of Wisdom that says the mage attack sounds like the retribution prayer detonating)

OMG this is such an awesome idea. I'm Greek so it's even more exciting for me :D I noticed a few people mention an issue with guys and skirts. I have to say, many men, spartans even, wore skirts in battle. I'll be wearing a skirt...Can't wait to see everyone there! Depends. My first barrows set was Karils, but I traded for that. The first set I officially bought was Guthans. :)

I really hope they establish this rule, or at least to a lesser degree. Apart from obviously saving hundreds of players a load of annoyance, the people who would be doing this might wake up a little and get some real social interaction. Runescape is a great place to meet people as friends, but romance is a little too out there for the game. I support.

So let me get this straight...I'm browsing the forums (here or on RS) or maybe working on photoshop while playing, checking back every 30-50 seconds...That is considered AFKing and is an offense?
