hah. I've got a 11 year old desktop running 64 meg ram and a 333mhz AMD K6 which still runs. Its using windows 98 SE and I still use it from time to time when I fancy playing some really old DoS games. Commander Keen anybody?

how old are you Americans when you finish high school? technically I finish on monday afternoon, but I've still got another 2 years at the same school afterwards. And I've still got to go back in for a day in July to attend a speech day for various formalities.

When I was 10 I was riding my bike down a gravel track, I skidded, went over the handlebars and landed crotch first on the low barbed wire fence next to it. Then proceeded to slide off and the bike fell on top of me. I got hope and took of my trousers to inspect the damage, and saw that I had sliced a testicle open. I just started screaming at the top of my voice for about half an hour. Had to get a couple of stitches in it. No lasting damage though, I'm still fully functional.

managed to get 40 minutes of TF2 in a row without it giving up so I guess I've done something right. I've also got a pretty big fan going at full power pointed at the side of my PC and it seems to be doing a good job of cooling it down. I've wiped the fans over with a cloth, but theres still sh*tloads of dust on all of the parts. I dont really wanna touch anything else.

gah its taken all day to install WoW and patch it up to date on the family laptop. Just doing it as a temporary solution until I get my own laptop. I'm starting to play again on monday afternoon, and I doubt my PC will be up to the task.

out of the blue this morning I 4*ed CoD, even though most of the time I struggle to pass it. Heh. I had jesus fingers this morning. Even so, I've worked out why I was failing at CoD and I'm gonna have a serious bash at getting 5*s because the only thing I'm bad at is the verse.

I think I've gotten rid of the old set of drivers. At least the icon is gone since I removed all of them and then put on a new version. Tips for cleaning out the inside of a very very dusty PC please?

well.. whilst playing TF2 the other day I get a random BSoD. no problem I think... so I reboot, and get a nasty message telling me that my BIOS isnt ACPI compliant.. eep. Another reboot solves this.. so I dunno what that was all about. Anyway, now I cant play any games for more than 10 or 15 minutes without it bluescreening. (not a BSoD with text, just a blue screen) I think it may have something to do with the fact that I may have 2 sets of gfx drivers installed for some reason. The problem is I have no idea how to get rid of one set. that leads me to believe I have two sets installed. I'd give my PC a month, maybe 2, tops before it finally bites the dust. Its overheating almost constantly now and becoming slower and slower every day. I just want to know if theres anything I can do to prolong the inevitable.

that alien set is eyegasms. Its nice that some distribution companies will sometimes take a financial blow to get a good set out for the devoted fans. It shows that they are in touch with consumers. either that or they have absolutely no business sense.

I got this a couple of days ago. Possibly my most anticipated DVD buy ever. I friggin love this thing. The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, special edition volume 1: It comes with - DVD with first 4 episodes, CD with the famous hare hare yukai on it. Haruhi's headband, Haruhiism iron on, A couple of really nice picture cards. and the best box I have ever seen. Has space for the next 3 volumes in it, and all of the stuff that comes with those. so.. Post your favourite DVD, CD, box sets, because I know theres some amazing ones out there.
