How about when making a topic for discussion you actually make an attempt to get something started rather than posting a link. People like you just come along to OT, make a post, then dissapear with your +1 post count and let everyone else ttry to get a discussion thread going. Either post a proper opinion (joking or serious) or request this topic be locked. On topic: The website is old yeah but its basicly just an advert for the book. The book is great and itsn what you would expect it to be. It's not REALLY a ninja hand guide, or a history lesson. The point isnt to educate, its to tell the story of a troubled kid who buries himself in this ninja fantasy in order to escape his negligant parents, over-critical teachers and to try and compensate for his lack of real life friends. As a kid we all had times when we wished we could run away from everyhting, or could go live in outer space, or whatever, because we felt like we couldn't indentify with anyone... this RAP book is simply the story of a kid going through that kind of period in his life. And for everyone that claims that the website and the book may cause kids to "flip out and kill each other," I believe that the book actually encourages the exact opposite. Robert is facsinated with killing and violence because it's what he wants to do to the people that have hurt him in his life, or he wants to find a ninja friend to do it... hell, we've seen children and young adults in this situation before a few years back, and we've seen the consequences of such pent up anger. This book is not an advocate of violence, but a warning as to what can happen when we try to force kids to abandon childish things, pump them full of medicine and "discipline" in order to make them grow up fast, rather than encourage them to be silly, dream and savor every momment of their childhood. I for one did not expect this level of complexity in this book, but I was totally floored after finishing it. Comedy, especially parody, has always been the best forum for social commentary, and this book masters it. If you hate the site, or if you don't get it, spend the ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã5 and read the book and I'm pretty sure you'll change your opinion. If its a SATA drive then its easy. Simply plug it directly into your motherboard. Otherwise you'll have to chain up your harddrives with an ide cable. Still pretty easy tho and not much setup required. External HDD's are much easier to setup but are a lot more expensive.

Perhaps contact the maufacturer of the tablet pc. If you bought it recently then it could be a problem

Remember flash isnt default on peoples computers. If you intend to use it make sure there are clear instructions on how to get it somewhere. Think about the average age and skill level of the visitors, they arnt exactly going to be 15 year old geeks are they?...

If he wants the design changed then have a go yourself, a professional designer would charge an absolute fortune for something so basic its just not worth it.

Try and stick with .com/.net or whatever your locality is .co.uk/.com.au etc. Stay away from .info/.us/.ws as these are just rubbish. If you cant get the name you want on a top level domain then cheese another. also keep your domain name account seperate to your hosting package. Use a company such as http://www.namecheap.com or godaddy.com to maintain your domain names. That way if the hosting company you are with goes bust (most of them are resellers of resellers of resellers... etc) then you keep full control of your domain name. Most of the time when a hosting company offers you a "free" domain they register it in their name and it doesnt actually belong to you *cough* scapeboard.com *cough*
