Any avertiser with an ounce of intelligence knows that people do NOT visit sites just to look at averts and that a tiny square ad is going to generate even LESS clicks and that now the site has been used up not even news agencies and cirious people are going to go there. lol Its win for the guy whos idea it was but the ppl that paid are royally screwed lol

Not really. You can also be infected by downloding the file by accident or it being disguised as something else.

Fairly low, if you stick to websites that you know are run by "good" people. Don't open email attatchments that are images which are from people you don't know, and if you're not already - use Firefox - it makes the process less automatic. Actually Cam its pretty high in the wild. Even sticking to "good" sites isnt going to keep you immune to this. Ive seen it increasingly being used on forums which allow guest posting, posted by robots And ive had 2 spams with a wmf attached.

Do you have the latest version of Flash and Shockwave? If you are not sure go to http://www.macromedia.com and download them for free.

The full phpBB documentation comes WITH the download in the folder /docs/ It has a comprehensive help manual regarding the setting up of your forum including creating administrators and moderators. You would have found the answer much easier and quicker if you had bothered to look for yourself.

I suggest you also disable the exploit by following the instructions given in the other thread. I wont go into detail about java/javascript/problems with your code because its pointless. The main problem lies in that you dont have FTP access with your invisioncrapfree so cant upload any files for use with this counter. Now i dont know to what extent you can modify the template files but you will probably only be able to get a counter working with a remote script. try searching google for a remote counter service

I just dont think its possible to have a sub $200 pc. It would be so rubbish at anyhting it would hardly be worth even thinking about for anyone except the most basic of users. What software will come with it? Will any of it be compatable?...
