  1. Go for Express update, that will only install the patches that are critical to your system and security. The custom is all the optional patches. Looks a lot cleaner now. Update your windows in the next week or so and if you still have any problems then we'll see what else we can do for you ^_^
  2. I could be wrong but you should really just post this on the other thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?p=2140408#2140408 People are currently talking about the controller on there.
  3. Change the primary boot to load from CD Boot to the XP cd and when you see the Welcome to setup press the letter R You will get then get a dos prompt You might need to ender an admin username and password. It's most likely 'Administrator' with the password left blank lol unless you've changed it Then type "chkdsk /p" and hit 'enter' When that is done type "fixboot" and hit enter, press "Y" and enter at the prompt Then type "exit" and hit enter, the system will now reboot into Windows Then simply restart, change back the bios and reboot and see if that works
  4. Ok it might be worthwhile heading over to http://www.windowsupdate.com and downloading and patching your system. You are currently running an out-of-date copy og XP Also you are running Switchshift which is an illegal third party application for Runescape. Do not listen to the claims that the creators of this about it being legal and approved by Jagex. It has never been formally approved and responses from Jagex CS regularly state that it is illegal and against the rules. It is also a bannable offence at tipit to post anything which proves that you are using this software. I doubt that the admins will ban you for this as you probably just missed the announcement but make a personal note to only use the official client in future. Please run another scan and put tick boxes next to the following entries... 5. The average gamer (young male) generally has a pretty stong and nimble right hand. ;) I'm sure people will pick up on how to use it pretty quickly lol
  6. Mercifull replied to Bubsa's topic in Off-Topic
Of course he'd have to shrink by about 2 foot in order to do this.
  7. I do miss school/college :( So carefree and so easy in comparison to work. So little stress even on the run up to exams. I get more worried about getting a research report done in time than i did an exam in school.
  8. In more modern elevators in hotels if you push the button for the floor twice quickly it will not stop at any other floors along the way even if someone else pushes a button. This is why you never open a lift to a cleaner ;)
  9. I think that having cannabis in a cake at any young age (less than 16) is going to be pretty bad. The effects are much stronger than smoking a joint and its particularly bad when you arnt expecting anything to happen. As funny a joke it might be to to do a friend i hope the person who did it feels really ashamed that children had to endure the bulk of the prank.

Riding a chicken, stork, ostrict FTW :D
  11. Sticky: FAQ - Index (Check here BEFORE posting a new Topic!!!) Download HijackThis run the scan and post the content of the log file in this thread. I will tell you what to do next afterwards.
  12. I was never a very big fan of his work but he did make an amazing contribution to modern cinema so I take my hat off to him. May his memory live forever in his collection of films :D
  13. Theres not really anything nasty that I can see but you are running a hell of a lot of programs and system accessories in the background? Is all that really neccesary?
  14. Sticky: FAQ - Index (Check here BEFORE posting a new Topic!!!) Scan with a reccomended anti-virus, then use Ad-aware and Spybot S&D to check for apyware and then post a HijackThis log in this thread.
  15. HijackThis log would be good. but try scans in safemode first tho
  16. I heard that for a limited time only Microsoft is offering people with "aquired" copies of XP to upgrate to a legitamate version for considerably cheaper than a totally new copy. You'll have to contact MS Customer Support or something tho I cant remember what page its on off heard.
  17. a person running away?
  18. Remember that when using pixel fonts set them to sharp or crips so they dont get fuzzy in the antialiasing.
  19. Ah yes i just remembered about WindowsUpdate changing to Microsoft Update and only allowing updates to legit copies hehe.
  20. Ahh batteries. The 11 hours it claimes will always be an overstatement especially when using a standard Alkali battery like the ones you put in so far. You should try something like a Duracell Ultra M3 or Energizer 32 Lithium single use batteries or if you want something rechargable go for the more expensive Duracells or Energizer ones. They are specially made for electronic devices such as mp3 players and will last much longer. When it comes to batteries if you buy cheap you buy twice ;)
  21. Perhaps you could tell us the actual error message and what version of windows do you have?
  22. At least you have more artistic talent than they have musical talent ^_^
  23. lol phil, means same here too. make me chortle hehe
  24. You can have Ian Bell if you want ^_^
