i suggest you use curse to train see, fire strike provides a maximum 19.5 mage xp points, whereas curse guaruntees 29 xp points (plus it tends to be cheaper :D ) the trick is to wear equipment that lowers mage attack bonus (such as full rune) so that you fail to lower the monster's def (you get the xp whether the spell is successful or not) this way, you can keep casting curse on the same monster
