  1. in terms of stab and slash def, splitbark gives equipment bonus of about 5 points higher than the equivalent steel item in terms of crush def, the equipment bonus is about 5 points higher than the equivalent mith item im not really in a position to answer your second question though...
  2. in that case it shouldnt really have much effect at all if you switch worlds too quickly, they make you wait for a few seconds while "your profile is being transferred" :?
  3. if you alch stuff (such as noted bows) while running between the general store and nat altar, its like selling the runes without having to find a buyer :D
  4. This should provide a bit more detail... http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=durial321_interview.htm
  5. nah just walk away to the point where you have to load a new screen then they'll be aggressive again :D
  6. perhaps you've been around them for 10-15 mins? They stop auto-attacking after a while
  7. but the problem with high alching steel plates is that you get 1.2K per plate (minus cost of nature rune) for the sake of argument, let's say the nature rune cost 300 gp at that rate, you would get 180 gp per steel bar however, if you were to just make steel bars and sell them to members, you can get 600-650 gp per bar better yet, if you're a member, you can make the bars into cannonballs, which can then be sold for up to 200 gp each (that's 800 gp per bar :D )
  8. because you used incorrect punctuation Why is an apple not an orange? Please explain thoroughly using a 5-paragraph essay with a relevant thesis and 3 body paragraphs that effectively support the thesis.
  9. You swing your axe at a tree... A bird nest falls behind you! A guy standing next to you offers to buy it. You agree and sell it to him, forgetting to search the nest. He searches it and finds several gems #-o These gems provide him with just enough cash to finally buy a whip. He goes pking in the wilderness and comes across someone with a phat, a pickaxe, and a skull. (Had he not gotten the fast money from your gems, he would have missed this person) Naturally, he kills this person and grabs the phat. He uses the phat to amass a huge fortune through staking and merchanting. He then uses this money to buy most of the phats in runescape, with an intent to resell them for ludicrous amounts of money. Jagex takes note of this and wipes out many of the phats available in runescape by banning him on a charge of "item scamming" The price of rares skyrockets due to their increased rarity. Owners of rares can afford to pay higher prices for raw materials, thus changing the market so that new players cannot afford many items. This leads to a decline, and eventual stop to, the influx of new players. With no new f2p'ers to do the less preferable jobs (such as gathering raw materials), many p2p'ers must now resort to doing these things themselves. The game thus becomes less enjoyable to p2p'ers, who then quit in large amounts. Jagex begins to lose large amounts of money and realizes that runescape can no longer be continued. Congratulations! You killed runescape!
  10. unless you happen to be fighting demons, silverlight pretty much has the same stats as a steel long
  11. banned for promoting evil in your post
  12. you get your money stolen by the vending machine
  13. because this is one of the most effective ways to waste time how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
  14. im only double posting right now so that i dont have 13 posts :)
  15. if you're looking for pure magic xp, then casting curse is better than fire strike per spell, curse offers 29 definite xp points as opposed to the maximum 19.5 xp points you can get with fire strike the trick is to wear equpiment that lowers your magic attack bonus (such as full rune) so that your spell fails every time plus body and earth runes tend to be plentiful in the rune shops, so you can get each rune at less than 10 gp each most of the time :D
  16. in the extra details section, i remember listing a lot of people who i had on my friend list
  17. go to wildy and leave tons of junk whenever a pker kills me?

  20. that person probably just stayed around the npc's for a while im not sure how long you have to stay for them to stop being aggressive, but it think its 10-15 mins...
  21. problem is theres no "empty" option on the potions
  22. are you using the alt and shift keys on the right or the left? yes, it does make a difference
  23. theres also an "insert" option so that you can put an item back in its original spot while preserving the order of everything else
  24. oh, and if we assume you hit 0 every time, you go to level 52
