  1. Normally I'd give the guy the benefit of the doubt, considering how rigorous testing is in cycling, but you have to admit that the timing of his positive test is very curious indeed, the day of his miraculous comeback. It also seems odd that he's suddenly cancelling matches while he was doing just fine in the last one he was in.

Just some random news... :-w Also, Stephanie is giving birth to the youngest member of the McMahon family as we speak :ohnoes:

  4. The X-Games being...? Would it kill you to provide a link or at least a basic description?

Aw man, your timing blows, sorry to break it to you. Stephanie McMahon went into labour today, so Vince McMahon, Triple H and possibly Shane McMahon will be absent tonight. At least you get to see Hulk Hogan :D

Rey was indeed suffering from a serious size handicap (he's a foot shorter than I am), but in a way his championship run was deserved, considering what he has done for wrestling since coming to America. The only thing I don't like about it is that it was over the death of Eddie Guererro, who was originally planned to win the royal rumble/championship.

I really liked the city-building aspects of Caesar III, although I never really got involved in military missions. Pharaoh was great too, although the entertainment value of the largely improved industrial system was somewhat neutered by the demand put on it by the monument requirements that were put into almost every mission.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=QnCE-hiiq60 Here's a quick video, it's all over Youtube. He 'officially' lost his mask after he wagered it in a match in 1998, while wrestling in WCW. He fought maskless from that point on, as dictated by the traditions of Mexican lucha libre wrestling. He was requested to wear it again after he signed with the WWE in 2002. In theory he could get fined or even suspended by the Box y Lucha Commission, because once a wrestler loses his mask he's never supposed to wear it again. However, because of Rey's popularity it is tolerated, although he still wrestles maskless when in Mexico. The only time he took his match off in the WWE was during the show that was taped directly after the death of Eddie Guerrero, out of respect for his late friend. (The crowd response to Rey's emotional reaction to the death of his friend was so good that the WWE creative team decided to set him up to win the Royal Rumble in 2006, followed by a high-profile fued with Randy Orton that ended when he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championshop at Wrestlemania this year).
  9. :uhh:Exactly, how could he forget about Little Man?

You must be more into the entertainment side of wrestling then instead of the actual Wrestling  . ECW is nothing but none stop action from start to finish whereas in WWE they talk for about the first hour of the show then have people like the Boogeyman putting worms in there mouth. But whatever.. thats your opinion :x don't they kill people in ECW? Yes.... They kill people :?Was that sarcasm? :ohnoes:No.

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad Necro. No triple posting. Here's a classic ECW Cruiserweight match to make up for it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xRGyKGt2kOg

It seems like this sunday's PPV is falling apart. After Mark Henry busted his knee (would face Batista for #1 Contendership for the world heavyweight title, replaced by Mr. Kennedy), both Lashley (Triple threat match for the US championship, made a normal match) and The Great Khali (Punjabi Prison Match vs. The Undertaker, replaced by Big Show) have been taken out of the competition until further notice due to elevated liver enzyme levels... :-s Some people over at the WWE management must be extremely ticked off that Khali won't be competing, after the huge storyline buildup they put together between him and The Undertaker... They'll probably have a match at Summerslam, or settle things on a regular Smackdown! episode...
  14. if your just going to be a sarcastic * then dont even bother * commenting. i posted it simply to amuse... although it really didn't even amuse me.1) There is nothing about sarcasm being forbidden in the forum rules. 2) Foul language, including whatever gets censored into '*', is being forbidden in the forum rules. 3) If you know that it's old, and you didn't find it amusing yourself, then I'd say that you had two pretty good hints that it wasn't worth posting to begin with. No need to act surprised and/or insulted when people start pointing that out.
  15. Buddies are the lowest form of pixel art. They're dress-up dolls on crack. I am firmly against any kind of encouragement of this waste of bandwidth.
  16. I don't think Daan will be moving out any time soon, considering that he'd need at least two extra rooms to cram all his movie stuff in...
  17. 1) 1998 called. They want their page back. 2) There is *nothing* funny about this if you think that that little soundfile opened the Crazy Frog floodgates... :shame:
  18. When you have an object that weighs 10kg in a vacuum, it doesn't take 10kgs of force to move it. Even the slightest push will set it in motion. Earth moves through space, which is a vacuum in itself. While we won't twirl straight into the sun just because we all jumped at the same time, the result just might be noticable. It could be just a 2mm shift in orbit, but it'd be a result nontheless.
  19. I'd happily slaughter someone for one bucket of the stuff I had during my school trip to Rome. About ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì30 of my ̢̢̮ââ¬Ã¡Ãâì120 budget was spent entirely on ice cream. There was a parlour on the Piazza Navona that sold white chocolate ice cream with milk and dark chocolate chunks in it. Ye gods that was amazing...

Well, considering how much work RVD has done for the WWE both inside and outside of the ring (he pretty much singelhandedly created the One Night Stand PPV, which has been the most viewed WWE PPV in 2005 and 2006, except for the Wrestlemanias), it was high time he got a big push. The only thing I hold against him is that he had to throw it all away the way he did. He could have been a huge champion if he hadn't been busted.
  21. ...how do you know that? Roughly guessing that the average human being weighs 100 pounds, and that there are 6.000.000.000 people on this planet, that would mean that if everybody would jump at once, they would supply 600.000.000.000 pounds of force to the planet. All that force isn't applied at a concentrated point of course, but people aren't spread out across the planet equally either. Given the large amount of undeterminable variables in this equation, the only way to find out would be to actually try it
  22. Look, if you want your child to abstain from sex, just telling them that it's bad and that they're risking their immortal souls by doing it before marriage is not the way to go about it. When you're 17, your immortal soul is the last thing on your mind when you're in the back of a drive-in cinema with your date. What you as a parent should do is to be as open about it as possible, right down to the grisly details. Furthermore, make a point of it to always slip a condom into your child's pocket before they go out, preferably in front of their friends and/or date, depending on the situation. For added effect, give them a typical parentling line about it, like "don't forget to wear the love-glove". Then, when the urge does arise, your face will be the first thing your child remembers as he or she reaches for the condom. I don't know about you, but no amount of testosterone would allow me to do the deed with my mum's face in the back of my head. Nine out of ten times they will cool down just from the thought of their parents, and the tenth time that it doesn't work, they'll at least be practicing safe sex :D (Btw, this topic isn't about abortion so let's stay on topic, m'kay?)
  23. I ended up fixing the problem by going back further in time with system restore than I initially did (I had about 20 system restore points from installing all sorts of new apps :P)
  24. Do you really think that we should be encouraging 11-year olds to have sex?Education doesn't equal encouragement. Fact is that sooner or later, every teenager will begin to feel sexual urges. Treating their ignorance is the best way to prevent them from hurting themselves.
  25. If the game has proper online support, Nintendo could have itself a real competition killer. The ultimate SSB experience has always been having three other friends around, and with online support you'll *always* have some friends to play with you :D
