Try adding a surface map that makes it a darker color right at the lands edge where it meets the water. Give it a wet look, like there are waves.

Bryce is capable of doing abstract and landscapes, but finishing details need to be added in Photoshop.

Well, pretty much all they are is cutout FF pictures. Not that much to them.

I suggest putting more time and effort into pixel work. By going for speed, you do not produce quality pixe work.
