We used to shoot rioters. Now we are a democracy so nobody really bothers. We use non-lethal alternatives in order to dispel riots. One of these "weapons" that we use against them is the Active Denial System, a device that was actually developed in the United States military c. 2009. It uses a laser beam that is fired toward a small mirror, which is then reflected (and spread out a little) onto a dish, which is then reflected into an even wider beam at a crowd. Since the beam only penetrates enough to cause a burning sensation on the victim, it is not deadly. However, few can stand the burning sensation for long before trying to flee. It's like tear gas, but much more reliable since it can't be blown in the wrong direction by a sudden shift in winds. Penguin, detecting hurricanes/typhoons and reporting them via news is implausible at the moment with the current mechanics. People just can't be on every single minute of their lives and watch this thread continuously in order to prepare for them. Natural disasters like earthquakes, however, would be plausible.

Although the NWO shares military technology among its members, meaning that newer nations have a better chance of keeping up to par with the rest of the world.

Oh shi- Forgot that RFGs weigh only in the kilograms and can destroy entire cities. The 10,000-tonne object would obliterate a continent. Of course, I guess you could make the ship release smaller pods, one after the other, in order to negate the damage. You would need hundreds of mining ships to make it all worthwhile, though. How much do harvesters cost now, on average?

What if the ship was designed to eject tungsten-coated pods toward a desolate and unpopulated wilderness within your country? Once the pod has connected with the Earth's surface, specially designed vehicles can harvest the iron from the pods and collect the empty shell, melt it down, and reuse it again. (It probably would have cracked upon impact. Or you could make disposable pods that use the special type of ceramic that space shuttles iirc use. You could just shape the pod a certain way so it would have greater air resistance (and thus help protect it from the atmosphere) and land at an angle, causing it to skip across the ground like a flat stone skips over a pond when thrown. EDIT: Another 450,000 X4 exo-breakers have been produced. Another 100,000 Lancelots have been produced. Lancelot total: 700,000 commissioned vehicles. X4 exo-breaker total: 1,000,000

Just an idea for your battle-net. Have large "space hangars" that house Raptors in close proximity to every battle-net satellite. Also, add turrets to the space hangars. This would destroy any enemy vessel and satellite network designed to endanger your battle-net. The Raptors are like the ones from Battlestar Gallactica. Just send them out like wasps and swarm the enemy. They can also be controlled by your AI, which would eliminate the human element. The turrets just respond to heavy fire, which also aids the Raptors.

Haha, I like the Limp Bizkit version, too. I like The Who's version, but I just don't like the "If I swallow anything evil...put your finger down my throat..." part. Mr. Crowley by Ozzy is pretty freaking creepy if you know the person he's singing about. :ohnoes:

Just a question, does the hand cannon disappear when it breaks, or is it repairable like the normal cannon?

Rpg, the rest of my budget not included in military expenses goes toward keeping the infrastructure intact and running other government systems. It would be awesome if I knew how to run the other stuff, but for now, most of us are just getting used to running the military budget. Maybe later, once we gain the hang of it all, we can start working on the other programmes.

As part of the NWO, we will share technology with you. All you have to do is produce it.
