  1. Like I said, there will be a compromise. So, just drop the subject for now, and we'll get back with you on Saturday. No. There is no compromise. My attack didn't involve ICBMs, and therefore it didn't happen. End of story. Like I said, there will be a compromise. *slow tapping of fingers against desk* Oh, and I seriously recommend that you guys stop being twerps. We'll very likely lose Archi if you guys don't cut the [cabbage] out.
  2. Since the issue can't be ignored, I'm going to say that relations between Turkey and Japan are normalised. Do you agree to that? ----- Sere, should how should we keep playing? Should I assume I lost 30% GDP, or the attack never happened? Like, what do I have to work with here? I guess you should just play modestly. Don't act like your nation is totally destroyed, but don't make any grandiose projects, either.
  3. Like I said, there will be a compromise. So, just drop the subject for now, and we'll get back with you on Saturday.
  4. So your compromise is that because I'm a larger country, they can use superweapons but I can't? My attack is still going through, with or without the anthrax bombs. Also, just pointing out that 60% of the population of Australia is in cities. Then you add Guinea, and Guinea + cities probaly adds up to 90%. Then if you even assume half of those die... Quit being so melodramatic. We're working out a compromise in which all belligerents take damage from the war, but it's not going to be up to your ridiculous amounts. If you do a ridiculous attack, it will be ignored. Also, I'm not "allowing them superweapons while you can't have them". Quit being an idiot. You haven't listened to anything that I've said. You aren't gonna have as big of a hit as last time, let's just say that. So QUIT WORRYING.
  5. Retech --- Shut up. There will be a compromise, and there will NOT be any idiotic 90% population losses because of your virus/anthrax bombs. And yes, I do know what your attack was.
  6. Like I said. A compromise will be reached later.
  7. Anyway, I'll have Archi reach a compromise for y'all when he comes back Saturday. I'll leave it in his hands.
  8. No, I don't like the idea of using an anthrax bomb. It seems a little silly. Wouldn't the anthrax spores, you know.... burn up? Also, I'm not guaranteeing that everything will be reversed; I just think that Turkey's attack needs to be recalculated. If he used ICBMs, the damage shouldn't be as extensive as it was. If he used FOABs, then he will suffer casualties, and it will be like the London Bombings for Japan. Japan's anthrax attack was never calculated, so I'm not being buggered with it right now.
  9. Retech --- I think that the attack will just be re-calculated, with the Turkish air raids being added in. There'll still be destruction, but Turkey will have casualties as well. It'll probably be like the London Bombings, only in Japan.
  10. Well, obviously it was poor judgment. FOAB bombs weigh 7.1 tonnes, and you didn't spend very long on the project either (despite its absurdity). I just thought you were creating Russia's FOAB bomb for the Turkish military, so that's why I approved it. I disapprove of making them for ICBMs, though. If we modified every single type of bomb for ICBMs, then there will no longer be any air warfare as we just press a button, and the war's over in one round, with both belligerents destroyed.
  11. Have you ever seen a FOAB? It's a large bomb encased in a chunk of iron/steel that is dropped with a parachute. To make it short, they're huge bombs, which gives them a huge boom. Also, I'm going to have to disapprove of the project. It doesn't seem reasonable to modify them for ICBMs. I will let you have FOABs, though.
  12. Well, FOAB bombs are different from ICBMs, then. You would have flown over the Japanese mainland in order to drop them. So, you would have had casualties. Also, poor strategy. You should have established a beachhead on key Japanese islands and gradually made your way to important cities, which you could have bombarded with your bombs. Otherwise, you would have had massive casualties as Japan's AA would have wrecked you.
  13. Not sure about the cities being in ruins; you never specified anything about the ICBMs. ICBMs are just long-range missiles, unless you attach a specific kind of warhead to them. It doesn't seem likely that it would totally demolish a city. Some parts of the city might be damaged (apartment complexes, etc), but I doubt they were destroyed. @Retech: Anthrax bombs are stupid, mate.
  14. Things haven't been reversed. ICBMs are outlawed.** I'll just keep everyone from being silly. EDIT: Auschwitz? Did you go on vacation there or something?
  15. I will post an update tomorrow concerning the events that affect me. Good night, everyone.
  16. Good point. As far as the street value versus GE value ratio, how should they compare in the future for Royal items? Will it be like an animal mask where they cost about 10 million or so for the higher-end ones? Should the Royal items have a "reasonable" price in the future? Could it even be like the Top Hat where it was once worth millions for a while, then it gradually dropped down to about 200-300k? Anyway, I'll check back on this thread in the afternoon tomorrow. Cheers. =)
  17. Game morals cannot be compared to real life. That's the end of the story. Oh, and I was playing Devil's Advocate; I was just emphasizing someone's point that if you made an argument against game morals on this forum, you'll have a lot of people getting pissed off and comparing you to a sociopath.
  18. Crowns haven't been traded via the GE today. The GE updated about 30 minutes ago; every piece of royal clothing (minus the crown) has risen significantly. Some of the pieces rose about 15k, so there were a good amount traded over the Grand Exchange. It looks like the merchants will try to hold onto the Crown (at least temporarily) as it's basically a cheap Party hat and thus has a higher demand than the other Royal items. Currently, I'm trying to buy the Royal clothing over the Grand Exchange (put offer in 20 minutes after update, which is good, even though I wanted to put it in >1 minute after update), and I'm trying to get a Pirate's Hook over the GE as well. Hopefully, if I get the hook, I can use it as a bargaining chip for a Crown (hopefully). If not, then I at least have an item with an artificial value over 50 million, which will help me buy other hard-to-get items. Questions: 1) When should the Royal Crown crash to the point where it's buyable over the GE? 2) Are gnome goggles a good investment? 3) When should the other Royal items (not crown) crash? Thanks.
  19. The ban on ICBMs was a UN ban, yes. Fine, but don't be stupid with anything. I still don't think that they are as powerful as they were claimed to be. These are non-nuclear, and I don't see how they would destroy entire cities. Also, I will do something about it if people do nothing but launch ICBMs at each other... Whatever's best for the thread.
  20. The game's about strategy now instead of just launching an absurd amount of ICBMs against another nation and destroying it completely. Obviously you need to study strategy instead of saying "Sending 50,000 troops into so-and-so." And, no, it's not "country with most troops wins". If China declared war against the USA in real life, the United States would very likely win, even though China has more people. The USA just has superior technology. Also, Alexander the Great was greatly outnumbered and still conquered a large chunk of the [bleep]ing world.
  21. People just use them stupidly, in a way that would never happen in real life. I'm fine with ICBMs, but Rocco ruined it for everyone. The decision to ban ICBMs was unanimous. Also, ICBMs are different from other missiles. You still have missiles that can, say, strike Iran from Israel. I'm not sure what the term for them is. Just Intercontinental Ballistics Missiles are banned. You know, the ones that can fly from one half of the world and hit the other and apparently takes only a few to destroy an entire city. (Which is absurd since nukes are banned. I think the damage was over-exaggerated, to be honest.)
  22. And I said that I would consider altering Archi's decision from the war. Oh, and ICBMs are now banned. Game rules.
  23. No. Let the bolts go with the accounts. We don't need that kind of gp added to the market. That's the point. It'll give money to random players who are lucky enough to obtain them (or at least make some good junk), but it'll also screw with the game economy. Who cares what they do? It's only a game, and it's entertaining to see what happens. If I wanted to quit for good, and I found out about this bug, I would abuse the living [bleep] out of it. At least have some fun, make a ton of cash, and then screw with the game and see how much damage you can cause. Try to see if I can get away with it. [hide=Just had to post this][/hide]
  24. Hopefully my little story that I have going on will be exciting for everyone while we wait on Archi to come back. I'll post information about it later tonight or tomorrow. ;)
  25. The dupers should just put their bolts into the Party Room. At least it'll benefit some other people, before the dupers get banned.
