  1. You can't get out of the US? Or in? If it's in it does not matter, Jagex HQ is in the UK. I don't think the offer includes living in Jagex HQ til the war on terror is over. And it's any US airport or airline, or participating country's airline... which I think the UK qualifies. And no, I did not do anything. Someone with the same age, name, job title, and description as me halfway across the country did it. You could always sail to England. That's the old-fashioned way. ;) Joking aside, I have never been outside the US. I would love a trip to England, but I doubt that I would win.
  2. That's cool. I think that we traced some of our family back to Lincolnshire in England. I know that my family (most branches) has been in America for quite some time... I'd say about 300-400 years. I would love to hire a person to trace us, though. They would probably do a better job and trace us back further. How much did it cost your family to hire someone?
  3. That's cool. I already have 50 pawya meat and 150 wergali. Does anyone know how stable these items are? Also, are wergalis about equal to pawya meat?
  4. Even with such ridiculously high temperatures, the energy involved in the collision is relatively low. In one of their videos they said such a collision had an energy of about 6 µJ (around the same as 5 collisions between flying mosquitoes). Heat is energy so my little knowledge base of science seems to tell me that the more heat the more energy so with high heat you get loads of energy. But again, I've always been terrible at science. I think he just meant that the particles were moving extremely fast in the accelerator (thus, high heat), but there weren't enough particles to cause any damage.
  5. How much is each Royal piece worth, in Pawya meat and Wergali potions?
  6. I used to do this back in the day. Also, keep up with street prices; a lot of TT items have a much higher price than what they are in the GE.
  7. M-theory is even freakier than just general string theory. It's about our universe being inside a giant bubble, which is inside a higher plane that contains multiple bubbles (universes). When the bubbles/membranes collide, a big bang is triggered, and the membranes that touch each other become parallel universes.
  8. The battle scene looks cooler. Anyway, damn! Look at all those Communists!
  9. Even though the United Federation is largely neutral, the President has agreed that the UN can make use of Federal troops that were "donated" to the UN for peacekeeping forces, so long as the United Federation can make use of its soldiers (and perhaps even withdraw all peacekeeping forces) should a problem arise. Just to make this clear: the peacekeeping forces are only protecting the inhabitants of Indonesia; doing this action is not an endorsement of any particular faction involved in this war.
  10. It already is, and it has been done before. It just costs more when you expend the energy than the profit you can make from it.
  11. Fair enough. I'll let Archi handle the UN's response, though.
  12. This statement came AFTER the UN ordered you to comply. And of course the UN wouldn't help Japan. It tries its best to be neutral. That would be like the UN helping the Taliban because the US and NATO invaded Afghanistan and Iraq... or the UN helping Saddam because the US invaded and toppled his government. So, as far as I'm concerned, you failed to follow the UN's demands. Thus, you, the Emperor, are being extradited to a world court. Plus, I'm the moderator, and it doesn't work that way, so stop trying to argue out of this. And what action? You tried to send the anthrax bombs, and the public found out after high-ranking military officials refused the orders. Thus, your action happened. Now, you're just breaking the law.
  13. I never said that they didn't immediately comply. They would've complied within a week (of game time), but Archi isn't exactly here, so I'm just ignoring that UN thing until my attack goes through, since I'll know my action of complying or not complying when I get the result for that. Sooo, yaaaah. Your argument would be like Hitler saying "Oh, I will stop the extermination of the Jews...after the war business is over."
  14. Icu-- ICBMs are banned from the UN. Rocco isn't in the UN, so he has them. Likewise, he didn't really make any breakthroughs with ICBMs; he tied three together with a chain, proving that he's a third-world country. :P
  15. The UN orders the extradition of the Japanese Emperor for not immediately complying with the inspectors.
  16. I doubt they can really throw a fit over amateur footage from 70 years ago. With that said, the teacher can bite my arse if she makes a big deal out of it because I told her beforehand that it will have clips from World War II. Any background music would be a problem, though. I guess as long as I buy the music and credit the artists, I'll be fine. Besides, I'm using ambient background music from time to time in the documentary, so it's nothing recognizable. EDIT: Thanks, guys.
  17. I'm trying to download a program that can download Youtube videos with the intent of using it to download clips from World War II for a Historical Video Project that I am doing for one of my classes. It will be used for educational purposes. Thanks. Oh, and one last thing. I would prefer it to be able to convert the Youtube video into .mp4 format so I can easily import it into iMovie.
  18. As always, you never cease to amaze us. :) You draw and color these in Photoshop, correct? Did you use any special brushes for the music sheets?
  19. Guess the compromise came sooner. And talk about Jerryrigging! (Aimed at Turkey) Three ICBMs tied together with chains, with a FOAB bomb tied down to the front. LOL.
  20. Bingo, that's the answer I was looking for. Well good luck finding your scholars- I mean heritage ;). Hehe, thanks. :) I can get a $1,000 undergraduate scholarship from Sons of Confederate Veterans, so it's all good. ;) I actually really want to join NSSAR (so don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to mooch), but the potential scholarships are big bonuses since I'm going into college this fall.
  21. It's a heritage organization, much like Sons of Confederate Veterans or Grand Army of the Republic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5YpELcpqt0 These organizations also provide college scholarships. ;)
  22. Hello, I am trying to join the Sons of the American Revolution. My family has traced our lineage to a man that served in the War of 1812 (through Ancestry.com), but I am having trouble with tracing him to a man that I believe is related to him (who served in the American Revolution). The man that we have traced ourselves to was born during the American Revolution, in the United States, so it's perfectly plausible that we may be related to a veteran of the Revolution. I can provide the names of both men if needed (since it doesn't harm my privacy). Likewise, is Ancestry.com pretty accurate? Also, if anyone knows anyone that has joined this organization (or if you are in it yourself), please give me any advice that you think that I need to know in order to fill out the application. Much thanks.
  23. Here are the oldest commissioned ships on Earth: USS Constitution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwxIb3ppLbg HMS Victory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiRbJRNKyv8 Don't worry about it. If people are seriously offended by it, they deserve to be offended.
  24. An instanced exploration skill would be awesome! :) Imagine traveling to different areas, perhaps gaining more knowledge about RS history along the way.... I doubt it will be that, though. I wonder when they'll release it. We aren't that far away from summer.
