Well, I think I took the start too slow. About 8km's of the run was on the beach and I took it easy because I've never run on the beach before, so I was able to almost sprint the last 2k's which I wouldn't have been able to do if I had run harder earlier.

I ran a half marathon yesterday then did leg day today. Also, I've got up 3kgs in weight in the last 3 months

Agreed with Ralph there. Lifting basically coincided with my quitting of Runescape. I just don't have time with Gym these days to play, and I prefer gym much more

Every second week I start off going for a max rep, then go into 5x5. I'm usually [bleep]ed by the time I get to 5x5 on those weeks though

I feel runs more in my calves and glutes, doing a leg workout burns quads a lot more.
Gone up 10kg's in my max bench since I started 5x5

I think most of us are in that age bracket. My full degree is 6 years, so I'm still at University, I like most sports 'cept soccer, which I don't mind playing but find [bleep]ing boring to watch

My legs felt really good today, so I thought I'd push myself and run 13 miles to see how my legs have come along since the start of my training last month. Things were going great until about half-way through the 9th mile where I found myself running up a hill, then another hill, and then another hill. It was torture, I completely under-estimated the grade of the course I was running and I paid for it. I ended up walking the last 3 miles home.
I hate it whenever I have to walk, I feel I cheated my way out. But 13 miles is really impressive, almost a half marathon? Well done

What do squat Jim jam?
Depends what I'm doing. For just a 3 x 8-12 I usually do around 90kg,
For the last squat workout I did with 5 sets it was more like
2 x 15 warmups with just the bar
1 x 15 60kg
1 x 12 65kg
1 x 10 70kg
1 x 10 75kg
1 x 8 80kg
1 x 4 100kg <- Did that last set with someone spotting me just to completely kill my legs.
I was trying to max deadlift today. I've only been doing deadlifts for a month or so, I was pretty happy to get over 2x my bodyweight out on this one, I know my forms not good, but it was [bleep]ing heavy. 160kg/352lbs
