i don't even like quests hence my 110 quest points. You guys are missing the point jagex is putting thereselves in a situation that they will not be able to overcome by constantly putting out high level updates. You can already see it now that the full helm is coming everyone expects pl8 and kite. Jagex will have to keep producing more and more high level armours untill it gets to the point where dragon is common. it is like an inflation of armour.

there are many people who play the game for many things besides combat. My point is however that the constant release of HIGH LEVEL items will raise the expectations of the players to high and will just set them up for disapointment when they run out of items to put out.

o i can afford them.... all of them to be honest, but that is not the point. I like a good item every now and then, but this is a total overload and will result in a backlash later on.

they could have taken these updates and spread them out over a couple months, but instead threw them out all together. The problem with this is they are going to have to continue with this or else people are going to get mad at the lack of these super items.

exactly so they are catering to the kids who want more objects with cool stats rather than actualy in depth content. which further shows the way jagex has taken to approaching updates.

over the last month jagex has finally answered the requests of higher levels and given them what they want. The only problem with this is that jagex has decided to pump out high level armour (i.e. dark bow,visage,d arrows, and soon d full) instead of high level quests. So do you believe that jagex is just trying to fool high levels with a bunch of fancy armours rather than adding some real content, or is this just jagex catering to an easily amused younger audience.

i have been telling people this for a while now, and that is that our economy is run by 12 year olds. unlike in reali life there is no documentation to prove what the supply is to merit any sort of demand. This allows for a select group to manipulate the prices and therefor control the econo :wall: my without reason.

inflation would have to rise faster than the amount of money coming into the economey to make products out of reach of the average player and there for making the economy crash due to the fact no one can afford to buy anything.

You were sorta asking for it. Pretty much called everyone you and immature in your earlier post and were bragging how your soooo experienced in what your talking about blah blah blah... (And it's not our fault your on your computer at 2 in the morning :-$ .) o look everyone makes mistakes except i have an actual medical reason for mine. I never bragged i was stating a fact about the game, and price gauging is normally a result of some sort of occurrence in the world where as rares rise without reason in this game. Inflation will reach a point so monsterous that it will eventually collapse the economy and drive new members away.

thanks, but the sad part of it is that it is true. I am in college right now taking many buisness classes and it is funny when i think back to rs and realize that the market is just flat out screwed up. Things like supply and demand and the invisable hand theory have no weight in the world of rs because the price of a pot of flour can rise in price because they changed the color of the pot from tan to gray. :wall: :wall: :wall:

to the guy above me......wow you have got to be 12. i hope your not serious about banning a whole country, that would crash the whole economey. Prices would sky rocket beyond the reach of an average player and people would start freaking out.

this is kind of weird but i was killing green draons one day and some pk'ers come after me. i am fed up with it, so i decide to fight back. as these guys are mageing me im attacking one with my dragon long. i get him low and use my special on him and kill him. when i look at the pile he had whip mage outfit and some other stuff. i grabbed the whip and ran , because his buddy was chaseing me with ice barrage. i got away with the whip and later on the guy pm'd me and said"thats not fair i wasn't supposed to die".........priceless

i had a bunch of rune weapons and armour in my bank so i went around looking at players trying to earn money honestly and gave them something. i gave out somewhere around a million dollars but in the end i was happy because i wish someone would have done it for me when i was new.

you know i was watching this movie the other day and i got to thinking. the community has really gone to crap over the past 4-5 years i have been playing so i decided to try and do something. i went to a free world and found three new players. all were around combat 15 and all had low other stats which meant they weren't worker accounts. i then gave each one 50k and told them that one day when they were finacially stable they need to find three new players and give each of them 50k to give them a leg up. i know that they may not do what i asked but i think sometimes we all should try and make an attempt to make the community a little better. if only one of them helps one other person then it was a success.

the other day i was killing green dragons when a mage and his friend run up and start attacking me well while the friend is attacking me the mage gets killed by the dragon and drops all his stuff. i am about to die so i grab the abysal whip and run and make it out alive. 2.75 mill in a matter of minutes because the pk'er was stupid.
