Jagex was very clever with the Agility update. Very people realize that you can get 60k exp an hour, which is better than ape atoll but not by too much. However, they stuck in a few things that prevents the noobier/impatient people from using it. First off, if you do not pay attention, you will get worse exp. Also, this really is a high level course, because through failing(which is possible at any level just so you all know) you lose the 2000-something bonus from the materials you collect. Those who do not like to pay attention or are looking for a super easy agility raiser will not get it, but the ones who are more dedicated and a higher level will find that this will save a good chunk of time and give more than ape atoll. There are two routes, so you can choose if you want all agility exp, or agility, strength, and range. Idk why they stuck in the strength and range exp route, because people that high can go to pest control for much better exp. I think with the combat bone collecting that can give you construction exp and the hybrid agility/strength/range combo is Jagex's attempt at getting higher combat levels to try and work at agility too. Overall, the agility course is designed for the highest agility levels, and slightly raises the bar for faster exp, however only the most patient people will find it useful.
