SOTW Sugestion

Ok well on almost all the GFX websites i have been on and that is a lot

 

 

 

when ever they have a SOTW event set up they have it in its' verry own

 

 

 

sub forum or in a forums marked competitions/Events, in the GFX section

 

 

 

and have each week put into a new topic. and then add a poll at the end so

 

 

 

you can see all the enters together and just public poll it to make shore

 

 

 

people don't vote for them selfs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

well with the system we have at the moment it is very unorganized and

 

 

 

rather messy, Well like we have a sub forum for "The Art Bazaar" i thought

 

 

 

you could add one for stuff like "competitions", this way we can hold a lot

 

 

 

more GFX competitions have sig wars between people there and much

 

 

 

more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

you will then also be able to have a different topic for each SOTW and its

Hmm.. i think i got a better idea for that... Once in a week (as you said) this competition is held, so once a week a mod would add a topic "Poll for your favourite picture maker"?

As iv heard, making a good picture takes few weeks (?) so it wouldn't be good as a "weekly" competition...

it would be a public poll where by you can see the people that have voted

 

 

 

the the specific option, and for the polls they would still be in the

 

 

 

competition sub forum i suggested just in a new topic, and people don't

 

 

 

make a new topic to vote they vote on the poll. also we don't get millions

ma by for a pixel sig it would take that long but for the type of sigs people

 

 

 

post in the SOTW they are usually photoshop gfx sigs that will take a few

We already have a SotW here. I do think it would be nice to have a subforum dedicated to competitions, but it isn't really needed. The way I look at it, there may be some advantages, but it wouldn't be worth it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the end though, this isn't a graphics forum. There really isn't a need for a whole subforum just for contests. It isn't against the rules to create a few more competitions in the Gallery.

Like said above, there is currently a SOTW in Gallery. :) However, people are free to open contests, enter contests, or do graphics battles if they want to. So far it seems that a competition board would be inactive due to lack of such topics. If at one time there are a lot of battle/competition topics, a new subforum would probably be added to help keep topics up. :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My suggestion is that if you are interested in such things, to run them in Gallery now, and perhaps more people will take interest. :)

i think this would be a nice set out because at the moment having them all

Sorry to bump this, but I just have to say that this is a runescape related forum, not graphics. I think it's good enough now, but I could make a new topic for the voting. And if I could get that stickyed, that would be better.
