They ban everyone on accounts of "bug abuse" in case you haven't noticed. You most likely got banned for your name or for chat abuse.

I got banned aswell when I started up a new character after 9 months of being quit... so I connected a good friend that I knew would loan me money to start out and got 10.5m from him the first week I was playing again... 3 days later banned for RL trading with no evidence and automated messages back... wow your great jagex

I've borrowed all sorts of things, some very expensive, from my brother and closer friends and have never gotten in trouble. Jagex has already said they understand people borrow/give away items and said they do not ban lightly.

Same I've given whips, numerous rune items to people fully confident they'll give it back and vice versa. I think alot of people sometimes blow alot of this out of porportion I mean no one knows the friends your talking about and they could be perfectly nice people who got banned unfairly but their is the possibility that they weren't and got banned. :XD:

I mean every once in a while one of these threads comes up and everyone gets all riled up about evidence that doesn't exist. :|

i do support jagex on knowing when people are rl trading but i wish they would first present their evidence and make sure they are 100% positive. i was reported for item trading when i traded a friend just a few mil to get his pure started( donation and imo totally legal) and i had to explain why i should not be banned (mainly b/c it was only like 2m). so i wish jagex could update its system to track a players trades to see if all they are doing is giving away cash or if they are legit players. :-k

But I am in agreement with this evidence needs to be presented first before you ban someone. It's like we're going backwards in history. In the 1300's the Roman Catholic Church arrested anyone who was supposed to be protestant and proclaimed them to be guilty until proven innocent, without any evidence having to be involved.

(That was more historical than religios tipit, please don't edit it, I think it holds a certain ammount of importance here.
