ROBOSRUS
Ohh I see. Remember loans are cool unless they come from a staker, or a rl trader. Anyhow, Jagex may be going too far, or maybe its deeper than we know? :|
Dragondan_Ro
So far I see no "drag" in this topic. Who do you mean with "drag" if you meant me you should've said:dragondan ro or dragondan since there is many with "drag" in their name. la la la
Obviously, a great amount of people banned for real-life trading will deny it. I'm betting most of the people on that list really did real-life trade.

Saru Inc
I say jagex is just doing their job. What the hell? Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I'm planning on getting a couple party hat sets and 20 or so mask sets befroe I quit. So, Jagex will be doing their job if they ban an innocent person? Please, put some intelligence in your posts. ~Saruman I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. Harrington
It's fine line they're walking... For instance, I frequently go Dagannoth King hunting with my mates. Whatever we get, we sell then split the winnings. Depending on how long it takes to sell the items, we may not give each others shares for maybe an hour up to a few days from the hunt itself. From Jagex point of view, I'm giving someone 2m cash for nothing or vice-versa. I know this must raise a flag on their system. I just hope that they investigate if first, rather than ban first, then investigate later. I know others will do similar stuff with the KQ for example... Chocobodude0
Gosh, that makes me scared to be owed/owe 1M+ with someone. :ohnoes: I hope Jagex is being careful with these cases...
Celt23
I've borrowed all sorts of things, some very expensive, from my brother and closer friends and have never gotten in trouble. Jagex has already said they understand people borrow/give away items and said they do not ban lightly.
Dalcyte
but here's what you hafta consider. Jagex has said before many times that they monitor trades, and when a large amount of money is traded, they ban people. It's impossible to tell whether it's a real life trading scam or not, and i think you have to consider that. I do believe banning obsenely rich people is bad, but banning them when they trade obcene amounts of money for nothing to someone, that's where you have to be careful. They've given fair warning too. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
ugafan_2009
Jagex has said before that looking for unbalanced trades is not their way of detecting real life traders. Many people give/receive loans and are not banned. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
Alg
Jagex has said before that looking for unbalanced trades is not their way of detecting real life traders. Many people give/receive loans and are not banned. true... anyway, it's very hard to beleive certain cases, and getting banned for staking a RWITer makes sense. you posess the money they obtained illegally if you win. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
PhelimReagh
I certainly don't know for sure, but one has to logically assume that Jagex eventually finds out who real life gp-sellers are, and from there, it's probably pretty easy to determine the whole network of resource-gatherers and gp-buyers connected to those folks. They then likely expand that network further and further outward. They only way someone is going to be unfairly punished is if they were associates of those RL traders, who received a large cash gift/loan from the rule-breakers after they received their ill-gotten gains. From Jagex's perspective, those receiving funds from cheaters were probably cheaters as well. They have no way to know otherwise. The number of "honest" folks caught up in such a web has to be insanely small. So as far as Jagex is concerned, in order to stomp out RL trading, they'll have to accept a tiny number of "honest" players caught up in the dragnet. Lesson: don't accept huge gifts or loans from folks.
Macmaster92
Hmmm i wonder what jagex thinks alot of money is to lend somone. I lend people money alot of the time. Nothing more than 1m but they may have a very low expectation on how much money is alot. :ohnoes:
