March 13, 200719 yr Jagex has said before that looking for unbalanced trades is not their way of detecting real life traders. Many people give/receive loans and are not banned. 20 December 2006 - A Christmas Reminder As the festive season quickly approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that purchasing in-game items or RuneScape gold for real money is completely against the rules and strongly discouraged. For the safety of players̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ accounts, it is very important that well-meaning parents who may think that this would be a nice Christmas present, are aware that any accounts involved run a very high risk of being banned. As such, please do not accept or give away any gift of this kind. To help spread that Christmas joy, try to find a more suitable present; something that says ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâMerry Christmas̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ in a way that no amount of gold pieces or rune armour could ever compare! If you would like more information on Rule 12: Real World Trading, please see the RuneScape Rules of Conduct. We would also like to reassure players that we have a very safe way of detecting this (by tracking back to known real-world traders). We DON'T just look for unbalanced trades! So there is no need to worry about being banned unfairly. We are extremely cautious to avoid that, and are aware people often lend each other items, etc... March 13, 200719 yr i get nervouse whenever i let my brother borrow my whip or he lets me borrow veracs. Bc we each have plenty of money to buy the weps but therees no sense in spending the money when you can go downstairs and ask your brother to trade you something. Americans love to fight. March 13, 200719 yr Most of them buy sigs for lots of money which is IRL trading. Others just actually do sell it. Kb Battousai Private Chat - ON

March 13, 200719 yr Uh oh, i may have been under the lookingglass a few weeks back when i loaned a friend some money to buy certain items so he could come DK with me when he had sols his in order to get a 99 skill :D He returned it all though, i just wonder if they have a log that goes back that far. I don't know if those people are innocent or not and won't comment on that in any way. Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. March 13, 200719 yr what if i have borrowed something like white partyhat back 2002 and im going to return it to owner now? yes im holding very expensive items on my oldest pker i was keeping for friend back 2002 since there wasnt too much bank space then. If im going to return them now, how is jagex going to prove that im rl trader...they cannot track items back to 2002 when it was originally traded so technically they count that they are my items since i been holding them 5 years. I really hope jagex has solid proof to ban for trading...i know items i been holding are hundreds of millions worth these days when they was less than 1mill back then but i dont want take risks if i cannot trust jagex and their wild banning system. Im quite sure they dont care any no matter if they ban for reason or not...there is so many players now that they dont have time to check any deeper in each case...

March 13, 200719 yr If only there was a word to express how paranoid Jagex has become... I hear they don't even look at their reports anymore. AND NOW THIS... Only further absurdity and corruption. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ÃâæACE A SPADES!̢̢̮ââ¬Å¾Ã¢Ãâæ ^ Going for full 3rd age Ranged, no coif, with about 10m to spare. Merching ftw.^ TIF vs KWD=Tif scared
March 14, 200719 yr Dude a lot of stakers cheat deal with it. Chezedude used an auto log program I remember he bragged on the forums here but he deserved to be banned. Also Raven(very rich staker) and Bogdan (a top 50 person) got banned.
March 14, 200719 yr I've talked with Fubu and in the past it seems he staked a RL trader and got a bunch of items off him, so Jagex saw this as an actual rl trade going on, and banned him. I personally believe him, but I could be wrong. As for Raven, he was bragging about selling stuff on ebay on a clan forum, so I wasn't really surprised when I saw he was banned.
March 14, 200719 yr Obviously, a great amount of people banned for real-life trading will deny it. I'm betting most of the people on that list really did real-life trade. Keyword being most..There are ones that were banned for no reason at all.. aka me Apparantly I got banned for giving away stuff to noobs and giving a couple mills to stakers I cleaned. I know most people will deny it but what about the innocent ones that did nothing? Also found out I wasnt the only staker banned for no reason either. Posted on DI forums and found I wasnt the only one.If anyone wants any details check my thread on help/advice forum
