Suggestions for one hit mining

I've run into the problem with my iron mining, that I'm one hit mining. Tricky part is the ore isn't respawning fast enough to deal with my speed and thus its throwing my whole rhythm off. Any thoughts on how to slow myself down, or other ideas to help me get my groove back?

Either that, or deal with it...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

One place I find particularly helpful is in the Dwarven Mines under Falador. Where there's 3 Iron rocks, set up 2 in one spot and a third a few steps away, that tends to help me get a good rhythm going...

I found that once I reached the stage where I mined too fast for the rocks, talking to people helped...

 

 

 

the amount of time it took to actually remove my hand from the mouse, punch a few keys in a certain order and return to the mouse was enough for it to respawn...

You might want to go to a world with over 1.5k players so after you mined your 3rd rock and threw all 3 ores, your first rock should be done.

Switch to a crowded world to reduce the ore respawn time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Or, use the Al-Kharid scorp mine. There are 3 rocks on the north-west wall.

 

 

 

You can 1 hit mine each one, drop all 3 ore, spin and start again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got to 85 (in F2P) doing that.
