Im trying to figure out what sword to use to defeat elvarg what do you suggest?

1) take it down a notch

 

 

 

2) i would highly recommend leveling up some more

 

 

 

3) if you must, take a rune scimmy

I did it with 1 pray, 20 defence, 33 attack and 33 strength using a Rune scimi, so im sure he can...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use an Anti-Fire potion, a super set and the D shield... Use a Runescimi/b axe and you'll be fine.

 

 

 

Take sharks/lobbs. :

You will be fine.

 

 

 

i did it with 30 def and str, and 40 att

 

 

 

i used rune scimmy and addy armor except the shield (anti drag obviously)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

your lvls are fine if you have an invo of lobs and a wep with armor or prayer

Meh, I did it easy at 40/35/40 with adamant and a rune long. Two strength doses, no prayer used, ten lobbies eaten. Pssh.

Well, I did it at 42 attack/32 str/35 def, rune scimmy and Anchovy Pizzas (+anti drag shield). So it can't be that difficult. Only a superhuman strength prayer, and I forgot to take a strength pot too.

Rune Schimmy and lobs. Maybe some more def and strength and you won't need prayer at all (I did it without prayer).

Elvarg is easy, take a rune scimmy with best armour you can get and full invent of lobs. Simple as that. Don't forget your D-shield though.
