Hardly or Never (<20%) I play Runescape with my own music When I first started playing Runescape, I listened to the music more often than I do now Pretty much. I no longer listen to RS music unless I totally have no idea what else I could use. None of that is worth listening to constantly - a few tracks are good enough initially but they all lose their novelty pretty soon. Before I really started using other music I used to have a playlist of my favourite RS musics set up in the game. By the end, I got sick of every single one of them.

Thumbs down. Lately, Jagex has just lost a bit too much quality - consider the WildyWyrms, for example, or that they have modified Trollheim yet refuse to do anything about the terrible agility obstacle situation. This combined with the bot situation (which is, again, helpful to the average player, but doesn't say much good about Jagex and their ability to keep promises). There's still hope for them, though, if they get their act together, start fixing bugs, and really do well thought out updates. And RuneScape isn't ruined yet, just not improving too well.

What you just said is totally irrelevant to the topic. OP is upset because the trees he planted should be fully grown within a certain amount of time, but instead they took much much longer to grow, thus interfering with his bonus exp he was going to get from it. A more relevant analogy would be a farmer planting his crops so when harvesting season comes, he will be able to harvest their fruit. When harvesting season comes, the plants haven't grown enough to produce fruit, resulting in the farmer not being able to harvest. That's why you plant your crops 3 years in advance! Trololol.

So, if you prefer doing something else while playing RS, why do you play RS? Surely you could find a better game.

Those people don't deserve the interface.

Although I agree with many of the points brought up here against the TIF mods/admins, I don't feel like elaborating right now. The one point I would like is that moving a thread should actually increase traffic, because the thread is now visible in the Rants forum and in the community feedback forum. (Just to that guy who was complaining that the mods are hiding the truth.)

No. I've never seriously considered botting, even for a short time. Similarly, I wouldn't abuse a bug either. There are two simple reasons: I like having a clear conscience, and I always think "What if I am the one unlucky bastard who gets banned?" whenever the thought does come up.

I've heard rocktails is like 300k/hour with the best technique. Either way, it's mediocre and fishing is not to be used for moneymaking in members. (Though if that's not mediocre for you, here's the math. Barb fishing is about 70k/hour so you spare 3 hours with it every 280k exp, while with rocktails you make 2,1M. If you have a moneymaker that gets you above 700k an hour, do barbarian fishing. If not, do rocktails.)

I voted Yes because I'm never ever ever going to get it anyways, so why not. (Realistically, who here will? Anyone here who seriously thinks he is likely to get it?)

So create a filter versus QC? Don't you think that would be entirely useless, given that spammers are spammers and will mess up the chat box anyway?

Cooking, I don't see how anything else can come close. The best way of training it that doesn't involve brawlers is cooking in the Cooking Guild (after Varrock Hard, which is not a lofty requirement). In there, you can basically click 3 times every minute or two and be set. It's also a very fast skill and because of the ~2-3 steps' distance from the bank to the range, really needs minimal attention. Nowadays, when I'm bored of RS but still want to get XP, I just train Cooking while playing another game. I don't like Cooking, but it is so easy, even that isn't a turnoff. Only melees could come close with those AFK methods like bandits, but because of the fact that it's combat I would still have to pay attention, and paying attention to a not enjoyed skill leads to boredom (I enjoy fighting, except for training it with cookie cutter methods, which is one of my least favorite things to do).

Well, I thought this would be a pretty unfunny video, and for the most part I was right, but at the part where the Jagex guy said "That shows our botting community is more dedicated to the game than the legit players", I just laughed out loud. That one line was great.

Switch your herb workers to work on coal. Solves your MTK problem.

Why would I look down on them? They're one of the easiest capes, that doesn't mean getting them is a negative achievement or anything. The people I look down on are those who are asses towards people with "lesser" skillcapes.
