  1. Okay, so... Claiming: March 26 - dragonboy061/dragon mhot - 1K coal ore 250k March 26 - dragonboy061/dragon mhot - 1K coal ore 250k March 26 - dragonboy061/dragon mhot - 1K coal ore 250k March 26 - dragonboy061/dragon mhot - 1K coal ore 250k
  2. The reason not to stake is because you risk the same (as you say, whether you lose or not is not affected by this glitch) but the reward is less (because some people will use the glitch). Same risk, less reward -> less worth it. This isn't really hard to figure out. Less reward still isn't a reason to not do something. Less reward is still more than no reward, which is what you would get if you just stopped staking, which was the whole point of my post. That really wasn't that hard to figure out. Except that, you know, you could do something else (that doesn't have temporarily reduced rewards) that you wanted to do anyways for the couple of days before this gets fixed. Therefore, when you stake after that, the time you spent on staking is more efficiently spent because guess why? Better rewards. Think about it before being a smartass.
  3. Yeah, seriously, where is the "No, because I didn't want to"? I mean, one option is "My family members didn't take it seriously, so no". Oh please. Worst poll ever.

  5. Applying to work. Forum Name: Fairness (why is this field needed?) RuneScape Name: Janaak Mining Level: 74 Smithing Level: 73 How much time can you be on each day: Varies... avg. of 2 hours I'd say. More in the weekend, less on Tuesday, even less if I have lots of IRL stuff to do.
  6. So guys... if I don't have the levels required to wield gorgonite, am I disallowed from participating? Great.
  7. Problem is, unless you're below 12 or something, such stupidity is simply inexcusable. Therefore, if you have passed said age, I laugh at you. Not to mention that you want to make your money back by fishing rocktails? Come on, you're a member. Find a method that gets you at least 500k/hour. Even that's not much, really. "hai, [bleep] in2 wild i giv u phree ph4tz" There you go.
  8. What I would like to see is something that anyone clever enough would mark as an April' Fools on the 1st of April, but not a dead giveaway in itself. And this is what Jagex will not do, they'll instead create something childish and unfunny.
  9. For one, I have never changed my name. For two, no expanding the character limit, because I don't want to talk with any more Mr. Oo0 IIIllIIlIIlIllI Oo0's.
  10. Because the myriad of odd attacks, for solo particular, does make chaos ele mildly tricky. Its by no means difficult, but its certainly slightly trickier than some others. On Crossed Body's list I would have placed it right below the DKs. It's that easy. It isn't even able to seriously damage you if you just run by and take a shot or two. The biggest difficulty in a chaos elemental fight is a passing PKer.
  11. They'll employ more bots. Because training a skill to 99 in P2P is SOOOOOOOO fun.
  12. My only FML would be not getting as high a prayer level as possible back when dragon bones were 2k ea. I can only hope the bots will bring the prices back down soon.
  13. This thread fails almost as much as all the RSOF rants combined.
  14. Well... in every exchange, either the seller or the buyer gets the desired goods instantly, and the other doesn't. From my experience, it seems that the one who has to wait gets the worse deal when the prices differ, while the one who gets the goods instantly gets money back if applicable. So, basically, if someone sold a spirit shield for 1 gp, he would instead receive the appropriate gp for the best offer out there. (Which also serves to make hail mary offers of "1k gp for a phat" pretty much useless.") Again, I'm not sure about this, these are just my observations.
  15. hmm, ok. think i can sell it for more than 8.7m? since it's "new" From what I heard its street price is already way below that. I'd say sell it ASAP and rebuy it (if needed) later.
  16. Someone with 28M can definitely afford alching an addy square shield and buying a new one the next time he needs to do such a clue.
  17. As far as I know ZMI is 38k from 60-75 and 43-45k from 75 onwards, while steams are 40-42k with less profit. I'd do ZMI if I were you.
  18. No, the way they said it made it clear that it was a peice of software to help either find bots, or to deal with them. All this does is hurt the profits the bots make. I'm almost certain that this new Jagex 'tool' for combatting bots was stat wiping. It was the only noticable thing Jagex did differently around the time they said it which is a joke. Especially with GP making bots, all stat wiping does is make them gain resources a couple % slower. Oh noes! My mining is now 50 instead of 90, I'll get 20 less iron ore per hour!!! I'm saying with this update, the price of raw materials crashed like a piece of rock. Making botting no longer a viable method to gain money? Botting is always a viable method to gain money since, assuming your main doesn't get banned and you don't get infected with viruses, it doesn't cost you anything, whether time- or moneywise. If you could divide by zero you would get infinity, therefore botting is infinitely efficient. An inferior bot might need some manual coaching with randoms and such, but the time devoted to helping the bot out is still negligible.
  19. According to the Jmods the drop rate is going to be boosted back up with the next update (as it's a glitch associated with the RoW update, just like the guaranteed sigil drops and such). So, strictly speaking, the best way to get charms right now is patience. Source please? Yes sir! QFC: 15-16-525-62549891, page 2.

  21. I'm not blessing anyone. It's their fault for dying, and if I am lucky enough to loot something very valuable, that would spare me lots and lots of time. It's just not worth it to give up on potentially millions of money for nothing. Except if it's a close enough friend, of course, because I value those over their equipment. Never lost anything really valuable in the era of gravestones, myself. Actually, they are just polite and not rubbing it into your face. If someone tells you "haha moron, I've looted your grave, sucks to be you", that's more distressing than "sorry man, couldn't save you", even though the loss is the same. That's what the irrational half of our brain does to us.
  22. ZMI is, nothing else is as good.
  23. Let me put it this way then... if you do C2 dungeoneering for fishing exp, you're essentially stripping the soul off Dungeoneering, making a mockery out of it, which I say is pretty fun if you hate doing it anyways (like I do). Or this way: no efficient method of fishing is fun. Therefore, if you want, say, 500k fishing xp, you'd be spending 5 hours doing it with the Dungeoneering method and 7,14 hours via barbarian fishing. That's 2,14 hours you save that you could invest in a fun activity. There are some cases where one can rationally forsake the best training method (like if one just wants to get a small amount of xp while the other method takes huge amounts of preparation, or if the best method is boring and the second best is fun), but this isn't one. Just do C2.
  24. Skiller? F2P? I thought you want to avoid boredom? With a skiller you're not making anything exciting, you're just making everything more boring (by depriving yourself of content). Add that to F2P and you're screwed. My only advice would be as follows: give up on this "skiller" idea. There are 99 ways to avoid boredom in RuneScape but a skiller ain't one.
